Time slowly ticked by, and as the clock hand edged towards eleven, Su Yanyi's private phone rang, signaling a call from Qin Jiran. This made Su Yanyi glance at her watch, indeed, it was almost lunchtime.
"Where are you?" Su Yanyi asked, remembering that she had softened her heart the day before and, after comforting Qin Jiran, had agreed to a lunch date, having moved up their afternoon rendezvous.
"I'm downstairs at the company. Are you still busy? No rush, I can wait for you in the car," Qin Jiran's voice was gentle, not a hint of coldness, and it was a voice that belonged to Su Yanyi alone.
"Ten minutes," Su Yanyi said nonchalantly, hung up the phone and, with a push of the documents and grabbing her bag, she left. She hadn't really celebrated Christmas before either; her family didn't have the custom, and she had never thought to celebrate it in the past. If it weren't for Qin Jiran, she wouldn't have even considered celebrating Christmas.
