I'll miss you

Aurora's Pov

I woke up to mom gently caressing my face while tucking the loose strands of hair on my face behind my ears.

"Hi mom" I said to her.

"Hello darling, how was your sleep"

"It was good" I replied

"Why didn't you come downstairs for breakfast and lunch darling?" She asked.

"I was packing my things for tomorrow so I didn't have the chance to " I lied

"Well ok let's say I believe you then why aren't you down for dinner" she asked making me wonder how is it she sees through my lies

"I fell asleep" I told her

"Ok" she replied "but I brought food for you and you'll have to finish everything else I won't be happy with you". She said making me smile and I was very thankful because I was already starving

"Ok mom I'll eat everything" I told her but she still sat down staring at me.

"Well then start eating, I'm not leaving until I see you finish everything she said while bringing the food for me to eat. "I'm going to miss her" I thought to myself. I am not even her child but yet she treats me like I am her child and she even Pampers me a lot I really love her.I was done with eating everything on the tray like she requested and I was happy to see her beaming with happiness.

"I thought you weren't going to eat" she told me

"I'll miss you" I said to her. She looked shocked at first but quickly recovered and pulled me in for a hug.

"I'll miss you more" she said to me while trying to hold her tears but failed "I really don't want you to go but there's nothing I can do your Dad mind is already made up" she said to me.

"I know" I said to her "I love you mom"

"I love you more Aurora" she replied "go and take a shower and rest for tomorrow's journey sweetheart" she says while getting up ready to leave.

"Ok mom" I said

"And I hope you've packed everything you'll need" she asked

"Yes mom" I replied

"Aurora please don't look for trouble ok? You know I won't be there to get you out of trouble and please be nice to everybody ok?

"Ok mom no need to get worried I'll do everything you just said" I told her.

"Ok goodnight love".

"Good night mom".

After she left I took my bath and went to bed because I was already feeling sleepy. "Tomorrow is the beginning of a new journey" I said to myself before going to bed.

"Wake up" I can feel someone shaking me gently and the first person that comes to my mind is Edna but I refuse to believe it because the person is speaking softly and not yelling at my face. Opening my eyes I saw Edna.

"Wait you're not yelling and you're not shaking me vigorously, did something happened, are you ok" I asked while staring intently at her.

"Don't you think you're forgetting something" she asked me in a low voice which got me worried cause she is never like this.

"Are you ok and what am I forgetting" I asked.

"You'll be leaving for the academy today so I came to help you prepare" she said "I'll miss you". "Well that was shocking". I thought to myself before chuckling.

"Are you sure you are going to miss me or you're just going to miss yelling at me since there would be no one for you to yell at" I asked with a teasing smile.

"Well I have to admit I'll miss yelling at you and annoying you....

"WAIT!! So you know you're annoying" I asked cutting her off

"Yh sometimes"she replied with a sheepish smile."but I'll seriously miss you"

"I know" I replied "And I'll miss you too". I said making her smile.

"Ok now go take your shower, I'll arrange a nice dress for you to wear" she said

"Thanks" I said before heading to the bathroom. Getting to my closet I see she has already sort out a dress for me to wear. After getting dressed I started packing my bags so I could go downstairs.

"Hey" Kaida and Brenna said.

"You guys came" I said smiling.

"Yep, we promised so here we are" Kaida said. "Now hurry up let's go else you would miss your flight". She added whilst helping me with my bags. On getting downstairs I was engulfed in a tight bear hug by my two brothers rex and blaze.

"We'll miss you" they both said.

"Me too" i said while trying to free myself from the hug cause it was getting hard to breathe. "Can't breathe" I managed to choke out. They immediately let me go. Finally I could breathe. After saying goodbye to my family excluding my Dad since I was yet to forgive him. Me, Brenna and kaida head to the airport. On getting there they both hugged me while telling me how much they were going to miss me and also telling me to have fun. They left after I got into the plane.

Now I'm sitting in the plane wondering what the future has for me, before going to sleep since it's going to be a long journey.
