Chapter 46: Duel Challenge

The banquet was over, and Jason sat opposite Benedict. Gardosen sat in front of the two of them; Arthur left the room as he had important matters to attend to.

"Hi, I'm Benedict. May I make your acquaintance?" Benedict asked, offering his hand to Jason.

"Jason," Jason snapped, his hand still unwilling to accept Benedict's hand. "There's no need for pleasantries!"

"Have you met?" asked Gardosen.

"Yes!" Benedict replied briefly.

"No!" Jason replied shortly.

"If you have a problem, solve it with a fight. That is the way of true Aetherians."

Gardosen continued to watch Jason, as he seemed to dislike Benedict.

"Fine, I'm Jason, Anders; challenge you!" Jason stood up and pointed at Benedict's face.

"If you don't dare, return to your mum's armpit!" the man continued.

"Hey, don't we have any problems? Why do you want to challenge me?" Benedict got up, frowning and a little fiery.
