The sound of the bell signaled the stop of a school day, granting the students the persimmon to provoke a battle of noises. As if Leon was timing it, he quickly sprinted towards Gypsy.

Gypsy lessened herself back to her seat while wondering what the white-haired male, could perhaps have to say. On the other hand, Cassandra coalesced in the dialogue.

"Okay I'll make this quick, Mr. Levi is a fake", said Leon.

Evaluating the looks on the girls' faces, Leon could tell they had zero idea what that meant. Without wasting much time, he stopped beating around the bush and hit the nail on its head.

"What I'm saying is, that's not Gypsy's dad. The professor we know isn't that young, and how can someone who just climbed a tower for the first time kill that human-devouring lizard?"

Cass and Gyp gazed at Leon, not still getting his point. So he hit the nail harder than hard this time."The Levi we're seeing is a duplicate of the professor, maybe he even killed the professor or transferred his soul from his body to Gypsy's dad"

Just like the sound crickets make, they begin hearing the same sound. To them, Leon has a point, a point they still don't get. It turned out, a random student was behind the cricket sound with his mobile phone.

Leon paid zero awareness to his notification. As he stood, he could feel the ground quivering, like some earthquake. 'Like something is coming underneath me', thought Levi.

Booom! Screeee!

With more than enough resilience to rip the earth apart, the biggest demon centipede burst out of the desert soil. Invoking a loud deafening screech.

Scrutinizing, the demon was the biggest he'd seen, tall with numerous eyes, which were estimated as four glowing oculi. And black exterior scale, unlike the grey children. The undeniable factor was the sharp fangs, which could be poisonous and dangerous.

'Just realized why you're called the mother, the bigger they get, the harder they fall'

Levi left no room for holding back, he rotated his dagger and sprinted at an eye blink, faster than the Centip could pursue.

His uplift caused a surge of outburst on the soil, and as he leaped, he spun like a tornado and horizontally lacerated his dagger.

However, before his dagger could graze the interior structure of the demon. Levi was hit down harder than he leaped.

Unknown to him the Centip anticipated such a movement and counter-attacked by emitting black and red lasers from its four glowing eyes. None of them were omitted. All connected with Levi's structure and banged him to the ground.

Centip began charging in, it slithered its way toward Levi with a constant impetus.

The Centip was the obstructor, it lifelessly let its body drop in other to crush Levi in pieces. As it began failing, Levi hastened his pace and rolled out on time.

Cough.. came another cough, Levi Coughed due to the dust assembled by that massive fall. As the dust resolved, the Centip was once again slithering in his direction, this time faster than before, using a whole lot of acceleration.

'Let's end this.. shall we', thought Levi as a grin formed on his lips, and his fist became dark purple.

The professor bolted forward, planning on seizing the demon head-on, with his fist drawn back. At a close spectrum, our Protagonist let out his final blow, and a battle shout

The first clashed with the face of the Centip, however, it wasn't enough. The only thing it did was make centip more livid. Its lasers blasted Levi to the ground, through Levi's diaphragm.

Cough..' Close-range weapons won't work, I need a long-range weapon and a health potion', thought Levi as he coughed out a mouth full of blood.

Levi punched the ground with his fist, concocting a dust fog to bedazzle the Centip and buy him time.

Levi selected the weapons slot, his time was jogging out, precisely his dust fog was running out. Soon the Centip would uncover him.

Just as quick as lighting, and like a knife slicing through butter, a dagger sliced through the fog. Ceasing the demon at its slithering, incapable to fathom how the dagger was hairsbreadth close to its eyes, without seeing the wielder.

The shackles of the chain reverberated throughout the desert. And when the dust fully settled, it began to clear.

Levi had affixed the dagger to the smoke Chain. Letting him cut the demon without even getting near. The smoke Chain was wrapped around his wrist and the dagger was held by the other palm.

"Say hi to my new toy, will ya? .. my DC AKA the dagger chain"
