" Are you going to eat me Ilirielth?"
" N-No."
" What wrong Ilirielth? You don't like my present?"
Everyone regaled. They were drinking and laughing while tentacles spurted out of their mouth. She looked at the monster's head in her dish, it was still breathing, its tentacles were still moving.
" You should eat Ilirielth, you became too thin now." - Mendith patted her back.
" Ilirielth, have some courtesy, your grandfather's enjoyed your gift now it's your turn." - Gillian
" Indeed my granddaughter, I'll be sad if you don't eat it." - Adriel
" Ilirielth, it's very delicious, don't look, just focus on the smell."
Ilirielth hand trembled when she looked at the creatures. It was moaning and begging her to stop. The sound of her stomach was getting louder and louder. Her drool streamed down her mouth. She held the monster by her hands, turn its face back, and took a mouthful bite.
" I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself."
" YouLiar! Ithought we werefriends! Friends don'teat eachother."
" I'm sorry! She cried, but couldn't help herself from eating. It was too delicious."
" Liarrliarr liarrr!"
" Noooo!"
Ilirielth screamed as she jumped out of her nightmare. She looked around in panic, and just then a voice rang out under her. She was sitting on top of Iliriendil.
" Could you please get out of my body?"
" Iliriendil! I didn't eat you did I?"
" …"
" Oh sorry!"
She got off of his body while letting a sigh of relief. Ilirielth suddenly realized something, she stretched her arms and legs. They were so light as if she was receiving buffs from priests. All of her fatigue was gone. She checked her body, even the scales were still there but their color was visibly lightened.
' What's going on? Am I getting better?'
She couldn't trust her own eyes. She had never seen a cursed one get better ever.
' Is it because of the lizard I ate or…'
She took a glance at Iliriendil, Her ears became red. She still remembered last night when he hugged her. She wonder if they had been doing that all night. She was glad that he didn't seem to be angry with her anymore. Ilirielth eyes laid on the system clock. It was noon at the moment. She hadn't overslept for a long time and beyond that, sleeping arms in arms with someone beside her family.
While she was trying to keep embarrassing thoughts out of her head, Iliriendil was putting the meats into his invisible storage. That was so convenient, but not many people had the talent in learning the storage spell. While it's not impossible to learn but it would take a lot of time, the least has been recorded with three years. Nowadays, only the people with specific professions use storage space, usually, in each adventure's party, the scout would be the one. Iliriendil's line of thought stopped when she noticed something strange about Iliriendil's body, she rushed to him and check his arm. Although there was no wound or the wound had healed but there were visible scars all over his arm, not just the arm, some on his body too, those scars looked like to be caused by something sharp, for example, her sword. Iliriendil pulled his arm back but it was held tightly by Ilirielth.
" One, two, three…"
She counted the number of his tentacles. If included the small ones, it should have been 32 but now only 17 left.
" Did…did I do this to you?"
" …"
" Please Iliriendil, you hate liar, don't you? Please tell me the truth."
" …"
'Did this guy think if he didn't say anything it won't count as a lie? It's not fair!'
" We need to go." - Iliriendil suddenly spoke.
" Go? Go where?"
" Get out of here what else?"
" But didn't you say …"
" I'm bored of this place I want to go outside, is it that strange? Now come with me."
" No… but… No! I won't go anywhere until you tell me what happened!"
Ilirielth sat on a rock but contradict her expectation. Iliriendil didn't bother to look back, he headed straight to the entrance.
" Suit yourself."
' No, that guy's pretending, he'll turn back.'
After waiting for half a minute. Ilirielth couldn't stand it anymore. She rushed out of the cave to chase after Iliriendil. Luckily he didn't go too far.
" It's not fair… You're such a bad guy Iliriendil."
While Ilirielth pouted, the corner of Iliriendil's mouth raised.
Ilirielth remember the place they were heading to. It was the place she got caught by that group of three-headed giants. Those ugly sheep were still there but she didn't see any sight of them.
" What are we looking for?"
" A guide." - Iliriendil said
He crouched down on the ground and dug the sands. There were bones, a lot of bones, one had the shape of a giant. They were holding their tools and even carved some names on them.
" Is this also their graveyard?"
" No, these are not their bones."
Iliriendil touched the bones, it shattered and fell all over.
" Those were just some random bone put together."
" Why?"
" I had no idea. Why don't we ask that thing."
" ??"
At the place, Iliriendil pointed something was moving, something transparent moved. It seemed to try running away but immediately collapsed because of Ilirielth's sword ki. She surprised herself, she didn't think she could knock out a creature at this place.
( Please, don't kill me.) Mordox language
" Reveal yourself."
The invisible being revealed itself to be a blue skin giant but this one only had one head and was much shorter than the other, it seemed to be a female.
( O great one please spare this one's life, this humble servant'll offer you all the food it have.)
( I don't need food, where's the other?)
( Th-They ran away! Those disgraces, they all ran away with their tail. B-But this one always had faith in you. P-Please spares this one, I knew where they are. I could take you to them.)
The violent murderous intent arose from Iliriendil. Even though it was not directed at her, she found it hard to move. The female giant pissed all over the place. It looked like it gonna have a heart attack if this kept going.
( Don't try to play tricks on me. )
( N-No, this one would never dare. )
( Lead us. )
