Introductions

By the time Jin got the message about the attachment bar, all of the group members had more or less gone through the tutorial and began to understand what the group chat was about. They were given the same tutorial about the functions, and for some, they were given supplemental tutorials such as about what device they were holding. This interested all of them, and their attention was immediately captured by the strange group chat.

At this moment in time, they all had their eyes focused on the chatbox, which would not only help them confirm the validity of the group chat but also allow them to gauge their group members. After a while, the rather blank chatbox was finally filled with one message appearing on the screen.

[Otherwordly Admin (O): Nice to meet you all. Assuming you have been given the same tutorial I have, you likely already know the purpose of this chat group. This group has connected all of us, who are all from different dimensions or universes, and allowed us to interact with each other. As such, I hope you can introduce yourselves, to allow me to get a better understanding of the members of this group chat I currently preside over. However, before that, I would like to clear something up. While I am the 'owner' of this group chat, that does not mean I have absolute authority, and as such, any complaints or concerns you have about the group chat itself, I will be unable to answer or help you with. Thank you.]

A momentary silence reigned over the group chat before one person decided to send a message to introduce themselves.

[The Demon Emperor: I see. Nice to meet you, 'Otherworldy Admin'. It seems that I shall be the first to introduce myself. You can call me L.L, or L2 for short.]

As soon as Jin read the message, his eyes widened in shock and unease. 'Shit! He introduced himself as L2! That must mean he's from the movie timeline. Meaning... this is the Lelouch with not only Geass but likely also immortality!'

He was snapped out of his stupor, however, by the next message to pop up. This one, however, was much shorter and to the point.

[The Black Wizard: My name is Zeref.]

From Jin's point of view, it seemed Zeref was rather wary or indifferent. Or, this was just his way of expressing his calm nature. You could never know, as people texting usually seemed different than they were in person.

[The King of the Beasts: Worororororo! This may be a drunken hallucination, but if it is not, this is certainly interesting. If you want to know my name, then I'll tell you. I am Kaido, King of the Beasts!]

Jin's eyebrow twitched. 'Did this due seriously type his laugh out? I mean, I don't expect him to text like a teenager or something, but he really typed out "Wororororo"! Nevermind. Why am I even thinking about such irrelevant things?' Jin was once again broken out of his idiotic thoughts by another message appearing in the group chat.

[The Strongest Sorcerer: King of the Beasts? You sound strong. But I am still the strongest. After all, I am Satoru Gojo.]

Kaido began to type back, but someone was faster to respond.

[The King of Heroes: Haha! To think that a mere mongrel would dare to declare himself the strongest in front of this king. Know this, mongrel! I am your king, Gilgamesh, and should a filthy being such as yourself dare to declare himself the strongest again, they are worthy of death.]

[The Father of Humanity: You should calm down. It isn't very good to be excessively arrogant.]

[The King of Heroes: Oh? And who are you, mongrel?]

[The Father of Humanity: Eh... I guess my title in the group is rather self-explanatory. I'm the first human to be created, Adam. In that case, you're all my descendants. You can call me Pops if you want.]

Looking at their interactions, Jin was feeling a migraine coming. First of all, the two biggest egos were clashing. And then, Adam, with his flippant way of talking and blunt way of stating the truth, came out and said something like 'You can call me Pops'. While he likely genuinely meant it, to Gilgamesh, whose ego is about as massive as the universe, it likely sounds like a provocation. Jin sighed, before deciding to butt in the conversation to prevent any more conflicts from happening.

[Otherwordly Admin (O): Again, nice to meet you all. Now that our introductions are out of the way. I would like to introduce myself. I'm Jin Saito, the current owner of this group chat, as shown by the (O) besides my name. However, a more accurate description would be an administrator. From what I can tell, my job is mainly to administrate this group chat, but once again, I have no control of the essential functions of the actual group chat.]

[The Demon Emperor: If you can't control the group chat itself, then what can you do? And if you are not related to the group chat itself, then for what reason were you chosen as the owner?]

To be honest, Jin himself did not know much of the answer to the first question, mostly because what he did know of his powers, he would rather not share too much about. However, there was one thing he found recently, that he felt was fine to share. And he had a hypothesis for the answer to the second question.

[Otherwordly Admin (O): To answer your first question, one main ability of the administrator is to mute group chat members, making them unable to talk. I am able to control the duration, and even able to make it infinite. And as for the second answer, I have a guess. It is likely because I know a lot about all of you.]

[The King of Heroes: What do you mean by that, mongrel?]

[Otherwordly Admin (O): I mean exactly what I said. I know about the past of everyone in this group. And for some people, their present and their future. I'll give you a quick example. Any further information... will be for a price.]
