Aim high and fly high Part 1

It was a sunny morning on the plain outskirt of the Moon Scar city. The battle has been decided and the Republican forces retreated their army to their border.

The reinforcement arrives and few large scale battles have taken place.but among those battles Moon Scar city was getting back from its knees from the war that Republican has started.The city market prices are still up because of the shortage of raw materials.food became 10 copper for a meal in the streets if you don't have a job it either you are starving or stealing food.

Artirian would look at the fortification he saw each of his men tired and exhausted the rations they have are being cooked so that the morale of the men won't dwindle. Artirian's face would be full of dirt and blood stains he almost couldn't recognise when seeing him.

Rommel would be dusting his uniform and like the same Rommel uniform is full of dirt. His uniform would be almost tattered by cuts. Meanwhile Arthur would be laying on one of the makeshift tents that are meant for soldiers who really need rest. He was laying on the bed and thinking what had happened was all real; he would not believe himself that he saw real battle. The blood, the smell, the fatigue all came into his thoughts like wildfire.

Arthur would then take a deep breath and exhale, then get a nice comfortable sleep as the battle would be finished by the next few days. Artirian would then head to the makeshift tent for officers. He then unbuttons his tunic and removes his shirt inside he then gets a bowl of water and starts washing his face. As he washes his face the water is turning black as he cleans his face. He looked at the mirror like a grown man.

He was 17 when he was given a rank of probationary Lieutenant and being able to lead his group the Flying daggers. He heard that the flying daggers would be a regular force for now in Moon Scarcity and they will be trained or they will be given the chance to go back to their homes.

It was already daylight, the sun was peeking from the horizon and the heat was getting higher Arthur said while stretching his arms "Well I used to need vitamin D" Artirian would give a joyful smile painted on his face. Artirian would visit Arthur who was sleeping on the makeshift tent. Artirian would walk towards the tent and after walking a few meters he reached the tent he put the curtain to the side and saw Arthur was deep sleeping so he rather not disturb him at any time.

Artirina would then look for Rommel who was practicing with his sword. He looks and observes Rommel's way of using the blade but still it has flaws and soon there could be much improvement in the next time which will be in the Divine Military Academy.

Artirian would be glad that the garrison commander offered him that kind of opportunity but the Divine Military Academy accepted students that are starting at the age of 19 which is the standard of a male young officer in the Royal Forces of the Divine Empire.

Artirian would then lean on the wall and continue to observe the fortification. It was still bustling with people, some are resting and some are eating their given rations for breakfast. After few hours pass Artirian would head to the tent of the officers and he would look at some order papers and saying that the fortification will be put to the commanding officer Kreiner of the 1st Battalion of knights from the garrison commander orders.

After Artirian read the letter he would put it on the table and then started arranging his things as he had already finnish packing up his belongings and he then headed to Rommel that is still at the middle of his training. Artisan would get Rommel's attention and said

"I will be going to the Argana Plains for some work out. I'll be gone for a while and tell Arthur he needs more rest and relaxation before something happens to him alright."

Rommel would look curios on why Artirian would go to Argana plains for a work out because it is weird that Argana place is known for wild beasts and other kinds of mysterious type of monsters. Rommel replied after getting his attention his face would be shrouded with thoughts before saying "Oh well get back alive and yeah I'll tell Arthur that you will be leaving again" Rommel with an agitated face when he said the last words.

After that Artirian would place his uniform on the table on the Officers tent. He then heads out of the broken wall some of them men would also be thinking on where Artirian would go but on their thoughts maybe the leader would be doing something. After Artirian left the fortification and also wrote his leave and absence on the table of the incoming officer.

He then started his journey at the forest he then travelled on foot to reach the main road but only seeing a small scale skirmish between the Divine forces and the Republican Forces. Artirian would then lean on the tree trunk looking at the battle amazed his eyes widened a little like a child wanting a candy that is what Artitirian's face looks like.

Artirian would then get a piece of paper and a pencil to write on what's happening on the field as he tried to observe and to know some tactics he might learn while watching the enemy and the Divine empire strategy. He then climbed on one of the trees to observe the battle much more.

Once he reached a good position on the tree he then started to survey the terrain of the battlefield after observing the plain terrain of the battle he then he surveyed the weather, the weather was quite calm and it doesn't seem to rain heavily next he surveyed the generals on what position on the battlefield is position.

Because there are 5 types of a general staff position first is at the further back that is what you call a strategist type of general Second is the front position which is a battle type kind of general. That kind of generals mostly used strength and more on the aggressive type of tactics rather than decisive ones because they lean more into being a role model to fight the enemy and boost the morale of the force.

The next type of position of a general staff is on the further back to the left which aims to make an edge to the enemy. Most generals do this in a way to express the angle in which they want to provoke the opponent general to attack to the left which is an opportunity to flank. Next is the moving around general which are the generals who fight then pull back kind of strategy they are one of the generals who are very tricky and rather not be able to get to fight on an open field. The last type of generals are the new assigned generals. These generals tend to make mistakes often and his general staff would always make angry suggestions on him.

Artrian survey is the both sides formation a formation also affects the type of upperhand you have in a battlefield specially if you are up against multiple types of enemies best position for your best men and not so good position for new men to also avoid the extensives casualties and fatalities that the battle might bring.

It is hard for an officer to receive that he is losing people on his wrong tactics. It is frustrating to see your men are dying. The best way to win a war is always on the strategy: the increase of casualties and fatalities, the huge gap of you winning that kind of battle. Each formation is varied to different kinds of philosophies of a general but mostly some has the same type of formation like putting the most veteran forces in the front rather than in the back.

Putting your most trusted cavalry to the side in case you are getting flanked by the enemy. And then next is the type of soldiers they have different kinds of nation different kinds of weapons to use different kinds of strategy and tactics they might use for that certain experience of their people in using weapons. There are two classes of infantry and those are the conscripts and the regulars and then there are kind of infantry and those are the Heavy infantry and the light Infantry.

Well to start the conscripts are people who are forced to fight while regulars are people who are not forced but volunteered to join the amount of conscripts came from the poorest and poor while the regulars came from the middle and upper class. Next is the light and heavy infantry, the heavy infantry are the knight who wore steel armor and long lances and heavily trained while the light infantry these are the people who use shields and swords and spears sometimes use muskets.
