"Third Miss Mu Jun greets Second Miss Nan"

Mu's family status is lower than Nan's family as it is a scholar family so Nan Xi only gave a polite nod to her.

Mu Jun didn't mind Nan Xi's cold and alienated personality as no one is new to it.

"Miss Nan you and I are from the same class so I thought I should come and greet you so we can get acquainted."

"Oh!"

" I am in hurry to go home today so..." she said with an indifferent polite smile.

"It's okay we can have some tea tomorrow" Mu Jun hurriedly replied devoid of any sign of discomfort.

Nan Xi nodded and left. She came in a different carriage than her brother as he will be staying at the academy for a longer time.

Sitting in the carriage she thought about Mu Jun.

Mu Jun is the daughter of a third-ranked official and a concubine born. Her mother's natal family is a peasant family so she had a significantly low status at home. So she always gets bullied and suppressed by her other sisters.

But some time ago a rumor was spread that the meek and foolish third miss of the Mu family aka Mu Jun completely changed to another personality since her coming-of-age birthday which was quite opposite to her previous one.

No one knows why but there are so rumors regarding this saying that she was suppressed so much that she broke out from her shell or she was just pretending to be weak and foolish so she could survive till her coming-of-age ceremony without much attack.
