Chapter 22: Bite!

After Ning allocated her attributes and traded in the mana stones, bringing her system points to a total of 9 points, her gaze settled on the dropped item.

It was a pair of old, smelly old boots!

For some unknown reason, her puppy teeth were starting to itch the more she looked at them. If not for the horrible stench, Ning suspected that she wouldn't be able to restrain herself but nibbling on them at first glance.

'How spectacular, this feeling... is love?' She quickly shook her head in denial.

'Unbelievable!'

Activating her skill, Observation, the item's information appeared.

'Oh wow, this loot this not bad. Such overpowered stats.' Looking at the bonus attributes, Ning couldn't help but drool. Her puppy face looks incredibly dumb!

'Eggie, is there any way for me to use this equipment?'

"Yes!"

'Oh? Then tell me! Quickly!'

"Place your two front paws into the boots."

Ning nodded, then eagerly stated, 'Alright, my paws are in the boots. What else?'

"That's it, simply placing your paws into the boots, you will enjoy the bonus attributes of the equipment. Host, please check your status. Your attributes should have increased accordingly."

'Ughh... but isn't this like... super-inconvenient? I can't even walk in it...' Ning questioned, feeling stupefied. She was a little angry. Did the system just play her?

"Then don't use it." Said Eggie.

"Woof! Woof, Woof!" (W-What the hell! Why do I feel like you become mean all of a sudden! And I thought you were a sweet and lovely system!)

"No beloved host, you are just imagining things."

Without thinking, Ning started to chew on the shoes.

She could swear that she was entirely influenced by instinct. Her little fangs do feel quite itchy. After all, who in their right mind would chew on such smelly and dirty boots?

'Crap!'

Ning quickly slapped the boots away with a disdainful look and regained her graceful manner of a high-class puppy.
