'Since it could recover my exhausted Mana, should I eat it? After all, it would take another 40 mins for my Mana to recover fully.'

While scrutinizing the Mana Crystal lying on the ground, Ning contemplates what to do with it.

As a dog, she doesn't have any means to bring it along. Moreover, she couldn't just carry it everywhere in her mouth.

It was troublesome.

'Eggie, do I have something like a space inventory or something like in a game?' She asked in expectation.

"Nope, you don't have that at the moment. But—you can buy it from me. As I already mentioned, the system has a store function where you can buy many useful things, and the primary currency used to exchange for them is System Points."

'Oh? Then how can I get the system point? The previous quest doesn't give me any point, nor does killing the zombie seem to give me any point.'

To respond to Ning's confusion, Eggie proceeds with its explanation.

"Host, you can get System Points by killing strong monsters or exchange for it with Mana Crystals. The higher the grade of the Mana Crystal, the more points you will acquire."

After Ning understood, she promptly looked at the drop and said decisively,

'Then exchange this Mana Crystal for system points.'

Spontaneously, Eggie's warning ring in her mind.

The system shop's interface was simple. There are five white square boxes available with the pictures of the Item and its respective description.

Sighing wearily, Ning's mood was depressed. But it quickly went away as her attention shifted to something else.

'By the way, Eggie, what is this count down on the top right corner of the shop interface?'

'And is this everything your shop has to offer? They are trash. I didn't even see the space inventory which I was asking for.'

'Where are all the legendary and god-tier items?'

'Don't you want me to drools at the sight of them? Show me the mightiness of the system!'

Rolling her plump, furry body on the ground in protest, Ning started complaining.

'At least show me something to dream about. My day is ruined, and I need some motivation!'

"Dear beloved Host, the shop currently only has low-level items. If you want something more valuable, you need to upgrade the system using System points. As for the count down, the shop's automatically refreshed every three days. You could also choose to refresh it in advance for new items, but it will cost one system point."

"If you are lucky and refresh the shop's page enough times, you might found what you were looking for. It will also require System points if you want to open more slots for the shop, so more items would be displayed each time. Please work hard! I have faith in you!"

It was as the rumors said, no system is nice.
