Banshees & The Liberty Union

Of the battered female and twinkish males within the ranks of the Banshees, their leader, with eyes of glimmering hope, looked up during the human hero's battle with their captures, their conqueror.

"Sister, sister... what do you see?" asked a Banshee weakly.

"Sisters... Brothers... Within those eyes, I see insanity-driven will, a maddening madness unlike anything I've ever witnessed." As their collective gaze drifted up to him, their conquerors were ordered to retreat, a fear unlike they'd ever seen in their conquerors, had them coiled around like that of a snake.

However, with the Onyx Banshee in full retreat, the hero locked eyes with the leader of the other Banshees. Vestiges appeared all around them, all with a frightening glare as if their eyes were his. As those with any strength stood up to stop this hero from getting too close, the Ghost of Ottawa spoke.

"ADD and MANIFEST: YORKTOWN, oh faithful servant of the seas! 332nd Redtail Pursuit and 32nd VF-32, kill anyone who interrupts me or seeks to impede me."

As the words left his lips, the sky became full of Red and Blue-Tailed aircraft that encircled them. The Grey Ghost of Ottawa stood unopposed as he walked toward the Banshee. "Why have you come here? For what purpose do you defile our sovereign seas?"

"I am Katie of the Banshees you see before you. I would ask..."

Katie was interrupted by one of her own, Sam, a young-looking twinkish boy, firing off purple energy that swirled around and into the Ghost. However, it had the opposite effect that he'd been hoping for. The Ghost took that energy into his body, a corruption of his core in this sense, and grasped the smaller man by his jaw.

"Well now... Aren't you just fucking adorable..." Grinned Ghost. Sam looked into his stormy eyes. They were like the red spot on Jupiter, a storming mess of emotions and rage. He raised his arm and launched a B-2 Spirit from the dual decks of Enterprise and Yorktown. "I haven't felt power like this since..." He returned his gaze to Sam. "Come by my place later... There is much to be discussed."

He left Sam in a bewildered and flustered state as he returned to Katie. Her bodyguards, Kas, Bridgette, and Katherine had surrounded her. He laughed wildly and outstretched his arms. "Welcome Banshees! Welcome to Greater Ottawa, Capital of the Greater Mastocratic States of America! WE ARE THE BASTION OF EQUALITY AND STRENGTH!" The Ghost paused for a moment, looking back to Liam and Demi standing on the shoreline. He took in a deep breath and grinned. "WELCOME BANSHEES... TO THE LIBERTY UNION!" His eyes shifted colors to both emanate the once star-spangled hue they had ages ago.

Liam and Demi grinned as their friend and hero had his smile. He laughed like he had when facing off against Rothschild, even facing off against family couldn't bring him down from this high. "Come, dock your ships. We shall discuss the finer points over refreshments and the warmth of a lovely fire. Come now..."

The Ghost leaped into the air, landing on Enola Gay, and soared back towards the coastline. "Time is of the essence!"

As he soared over his homeland, the glint of his smile could be seen for miles around. He laughed to himself. "The Liberty Union, huh... Well, I suppose we'll just have to live up to that name!" Dr. Sue watched him leap from Enola and dive with the Red and Blue Tails toward the ground. He flipped himself around and landed with a small impact. Her eyes lit up as he smiled at her.

"So Doc, think we can get this Freedom Union rolling?"

"Yes! Sundeep and his traitors escaped, but I do not doubt that..."

She stopped as his facial expression changed. "I still hate all of them, you know? My mother, father, sister, Sundeep, and his traitors... I will ensure they learn the true horrors of hell flames and brimstone that reside within my soul. Let anyone who stands in our way become his or her own instrument of destruction."

"What are you saying?" Dr. Sue .

"Dr. Sue, do you know the philosophical phrase, cogito, ergo sum?"

Dr. Sue paused a moment before answering. "I do. It means I think, therefore I am."

"Exactly. I think I should stop them, should hate them, should choke their life forces out of them with my bare hands, therefore I am going to do those things. Just as I think this is the best nation on the planet Earth, therefore I am going to make it the best and keep it that way... even if it costs me my soul. Fuck... every... other... nation, Dr. Sue."

As the Grey Ghost walked away, she shivered as his words sent chills down her spin. He was... "He's learning..." trembled Dr. Sue as he helped the injured Banshees off of their ship with a smile.

A few hours passed and found the Banshees and Delegation of the Liberty Union all seated and creating an alliance. The Doctrine of Archie otherwise known as the Liberty Union's doctrine of foreign relations. It stated the following:

"The Liberty Union, formerly known as the United States of America, shall provide the Decker-Class Banshees a haven of refuge and place to live. Likewise, the Liberty Union sees and recognizes that heteromorphs are a protected class of citizens under the Mastocratic Constitution and shall not be harmed, or have laws that hinder or prevent their day-to-day lives."

In addition to this, the Delegation also created a separate document that helped clarify anything unclear as their government structure, function, and type of civilization they were aspiring to be. It was known as the Articles of Libertarian-Mastocracy. This document stated the following:

"The Liberty Union is hereby organized under the Articles of Libertarian-Mastocracy. Which empowers the ideal of Localism over that of Centralism. The United States of America was betrayed by its federal powers at be, hence these necessary steps to ensure that the Civil Liberties, Equal Representation, Rights of Inalienable Nature, and the Sovereignty of this Nation are to be upheld in what is to be known as, "The Foundation of Common Ground"."

As the meeting came to a close, the Grey Ghost found himself seated at Berta's Tap, next to the Busch Hunter and Admiral Nolan.

"Seems like yesterday we came here for your twenty-first birthday." Laughed the Busch Hunter as he took a swig of beer.

"That it does. This is what I truly missed most about this, about all of us. Two of my best friends, both of which mean a great deal to me, and myself enjoying a cold beer or two. Sharing a memory that shall overcome centuries and time itself, remembered by those around us." The Grey Ghost sipped on a spiked iced tea and reminisced of the many nights just he and the Busch Hunter would come here to talk about empty things in comparison to everything they'd been through.

"It's honestly thanks to you, Grey Ghost. Without your annoying persistence that the New World Order, your parents, Delzigade, and those Onyx Banshees wouldn't overcome us, I don't think we'd be sitting here, enjoying some liquor and booze as three friends ought to." The Admiral said as they took buttery nipple shots and smiled.

"You are too kind, my old friend..." Started the Grey Ghost, "But if not for your belief in my dreams and goals, I wouldn't have come this far. After all, persevering willpower can only endure so much before it too breaks like a brittle icicle, falling to the ground and shattering in the heat of spring. As they took another shot, the Grey Ghost smiled to himself remembering his Grandma's kind words, "When you put your mind in gear and fuel your heart with that burning soul of passion, you can inspire those around you and inspire those around them. All of you in all of them, burning like a candle in the darkest of rooms."
