leans against the top of the desk in the main lobby, flipping through the chart of her newest patient. She twirls the pen a bit, her eyes dancing across the page.

She feels eyes on her and looks up, brows furrowing a bit as she notices Jo Wilson, a new intern, standing a few feet away. Her scared eyes are on Meredith, who is standing beside Eleanora in a matching set of navy blue scrubs.

"Um....Meredith?" Eleanora speaks up, causing Bailey to glance over and follow the Neuro Fellow's gaze. Meredith hums, taking a moment before looking up. Bailey scoffs, raising a brow at Wilson.

"What's the problem?" Bailey asks the intern, Wilson taking a deep breath before responding.

"I have these labs for Dr. Grey." She finally stuttered out, Elenaora snorting a bit before moving her amused eyes to Meredith, who just rolled her own as she listened.

"Well, then give them to her." Bailey said slowly, Wilson finally pushing forward to near the three Attending's.

"I've been waiting for those for over an hour." Meredith steps, finally turning around and focusing on the brunette.

"I had to do an admission—" Wilson tries, Meredith interrupting.

"Stop making excuses."

"Sorry-"

"Stop apologizing."

"Okay-"

"Stop talking."

Eleanora hides her grin, sharing a look with Bailey, who had a smirk on her face. Meredith flips through the labs, speaking to Wilson.

"His lactic acid is normal. What does that tell us?" Wilson is quiet for a moment, Meredith letting out an annoyed sigh. "You can talk now."

"That he's probably not septic, so he's gonna be fine!" Wilson stated, a proud look on her face. When she notices the unamused one still on Meredith's, she falters. "Although his white cell count is elevated so I should probably keep an eye on that. In fact, I keep an eye on that so that he doesn't go-"

"Go to The Pit and try not to kill anybody." Meredith snaps at the intern, turning back to the desk. Eleanora and Bailey watch Wilson sulk off, Eleanora sending Meredith a small look.

"You're mean. The interns are cute, and adorable, and we can mold them into amazing surgeons. But, , you have decided belittling them is better."

"It worked for us." Meredith teased back, Eleanora rolling her eyes a bit before focusing back on her chart.

"I think it's impressive." Bailey states, sending the two fellows a small smirk. "I would have expected that level of intimidation from , maybe. Not you. How is Yang, by the way? Does she like Minnesota?"

Meredith stiffens a bit, Eleanora eyeing her from the corner of her eye. She watches as Meredith clenches her jaw and decides to answer for her, turning her head to send Bailey a bright smile.

"She loves it, snow and all."

skips into the ER beside Derek, the two of them heading to Callie. The sight was a relatively new one to the workers of the hospital, and it still brought a small smile to some of their faces.

Derek and Eleanora, although still very much teacher and student, were Board Certified Neurosurgeons. Both wore the navy blue scrubs associated with Attending's at Seattle Grace-Mercy West, and both looked damn good in them.

"Okay, what do we got?" Derek asked Callie, him and Eleanora flanking both sides of the Ortho surgeon to look at the screen in front of her.

"I was hoping one of you could tell me." Callie points to the screen, Eleanora and Derek both leaning in a bit. "Looks like a transverse process fracture at L3, L4, but see the swelling? Can't tell if it's unstable or not."

"It's unstable for sure." Derek told her, Eleanora humming in agreement. "Book an OR, we need to get in there and relieve the pressure as soon as possible."

Those words make Eleanora's head snap up, Callie's eyes widening a bit. Eleanora is the first to speak, her eyes bright.

"?"

"Wait, we? As in you and me?" Callie confirmed, her eyes moving to Eleanora. "He's operating?"

Derek sighed a bit at the excited look between the two women, face passive. "It's no big deal."

Eleanora threw him a look, raising one brow. "Don't try that, Derek. It's a big deal and you know it."

"It's a very big deal!" Callie stated.

"I've been cleared for surgery for weeks." Derek pointed out, a small smirk on his lips.

"Uh, yeah, I know, 'cause I cleared you." Callie chuckled nervously. "But you said you weren't ready so-"

"Well now I'm saying I am." Eleanora grinned even bigger, giving a nod. She felt her pager on her waist and checked it, letting out a small hum.

"I have a aneurysm to clip, otherwise I would stay and probably sing a song for this joyous occasion." Eleanora gave Derek a quick side-hug before moving to exit the OR, waving over her shoulder. "Good luck!"

Callie watched her go for a moment and then turned to Derek, her voice low and face a little more serious. "Is she okay? I mean, today is a bad day."

"I don't know." Derek sighed, watching after his fellow neurosurgeon. "Lately, I don't seem to know anything that's going through her head."

sits beside Meredith at one of the nurses desks, putting in some of the digital charting. Meredith situated her iPad so it can look over both her and Eleanora, Cristina on the screen.

"Guess what? I have a nickname! Medusa. I'm Medusa Grey." Meredith says in form of a greeting. Eleanora gives a small laugh, glancing over.
