opens the door to Callie's apartment, his hand on his wife's back as they enter. Eleanora gave Arizona and Callie a smile, her eyes landing on her brother who was occupying Callie's couch with a plate of food balanced on his legs.

"You're here early." Eleanora pointed out, heading to the counter. Max shrugged, taking a bit of his toast.

"Thought it was only fair if I make them breakfast every once and a while."

Eleanora laughed, settling at their counter. Callie turned to Mark, her brow raised. "Mark, tell the woman. I'm allowed to drink one cup of regular coffee."

Eleanora focuses on the smoothie in Arizona's hand, her nose scrunching up at the sight of it. "That looks absolutely disgusting."

"Sure you are." Mark agrees with Callie, opening the newspaper in his hands as he leans against the counter. Arizona raised a brow, turning to Mark.

"Oh, w-wait, Mark. Are you aware that there are studies that link caffeine with pre-term labor, low birth weight, other birth defects?"

Eleanora's face slowly fell, her eyes sliding to the untouched coffee in the mug in her hand. Mark is quiet for a moment before slowly taking the mug out of his wife's hand. "That goo looks great. I say both of you stick with the goo."

The two had told Arizona and Callie almost immediately after Max, the knowledge that Eleanora and Callie would be pregnant together too big to share between the three of them.

Arizona perked up, pouring another glass of goo for Eleanora before sliding it to her. Eleanora slowly picked it up, sniffing at it. Once the smell hit her, she let out a small gag, putting it as far away from her as possible.

"Ella doesn't do kale." Max spoke up, walking over to the counter. "But you both should still drink it if it's healthier for you."

"Okay," Callie laughed, glancing between the three non-pregnant people, "you three can't just dictate what we're allowed to eat and drink."

"Nobody's dictating anything. But you're pregnant now, so things have to be different. You both need to eat better, take it easier at work." Arizona then turned her eyes to Ella. "You need to tell the Chief as soon as possible because you need to be able to have breaks throughout the day. Carrying twins can exhaust you even more, and it can be easier to miscarry."

Eleanora furrowed her brows, her eyes flashing to Mark for a moment. "I have to tell other people before I tell the Chief."

"Then tell them today." Max singsonged. Arizona sent him a look before focusing back on her girlfriend, seeing as she was the one who was complaining most about the coffee.

"If it helps, we'll give up caffeine, too."

Max let out a pained gasp, about to open his mouth to argue. However, Mark sent him a glare, making the younger man quiet down. Callie stared straight at her girlfriend, her voice monotone.

"That helps no one."

"Well, how about you three put it to a vote?" Mark asks them, putting an arm around his wife. Eleanora elbows him lightly, hissing out.

"Don't get involved in it, Mark."

"No, Mark's right." Max stated, nodding. "A vote would be the smartest thing to do. So, all in favor of Callie drinking coffee, raise your hand."

Callie raised her hand, her grin falling off of her face when she realized Max didn't raise his hand. "Max, wha-"

"The baby doctor says coffee is bad for you and the baby." Max tells her. Arizona smiles, nodding before she sends Max a little bit of a hard look.

"Not a baby doctor, by the way. I'm a surgeon."

"You are a doctor who often times work with babies." Max sasses, then continues. "All in favor of the goo?"

Arizona and Max both raise their hands, making Callie grumble. Mark slides the glass of goo Arizona handed Eleanora closer, motioning to it.

"Just drink the goo this once, doll."

Eleanora makes a face before picking it up. She looks down at her stomach, her voice low so only her and Mark could hear.

"You two better be thankful I love you." She whispered to her stomach before taking a few gulps of the goo. Eleanora gagged after a moment, closing her eyes and scrunching it up. "I hate the goo."

______

crap, your mom was smart." Cristina tells Meredith, Eleanora nodding along in agreement as she leaned over the journal with her friend.

"I knew that she was one of the best, but her ideas are just so......." Eleanora breathed out, taking a bite of her salad.

"Truck..."Alex spoke, his hands on his temples, acting as though he was trying hard to think. Him and Jackson were making fun of the trial a bit, and Eleanora sent them a glare. "Cabin. Spoon."

"3 for 3!" Jackson cheers, the two high-fiving.

"Crap! This is so good." Cristina states, bringing Eleanora's attention back to her. Eleanora followed along, nodding her head.

"Honestly, Mer, this trial is amazing. All the details, the research she put into it....just "

"Is it better than this! 'Cause, seriously, Mer and Ella, you'd have to have died of Alzheimer's to fail this." Alex told them.

After Mr.Cobb, Alex ended up dropping out of the Alzheimer's trial. Derek ended up finally caving in and giving the position to Meredith, which meant her and Eleanora were working on it together.
