as she walked beside Mark through the halls, Eleanora flipped through some charts.

"It's just weird, you know? Meredith and Derek are.....doing it, and they both are still obviously into eachother. Why won't either of them any-"

Suddenly, Mark's hand rested against her mouth, muffling her mid-conversation. Eleanora's eyes widened and one hand went to his wrist to grip it, confusion in her eyes.

Mark didn't look at her, instead nodding ahead at a group of people by the nurses station. Eleanora focused on them, smacking at Mark's wrist to try and get him to remove his hand before they reached the three.

"And this is Dr. Mark Sloan, our head of plastics." The Chief proudly stated, his smile falling slightly when he saw the slightly childish position Eleanora and Mark were in. Mark smiled charmingly, trying to ignore Eleanora's smacks at his arm. "And Dr. Eleanora Amedeo, one of our surgical residents. Sloan, Amedeo, this is Dr. Erica Hahn."

Hahn stared at the two with raised brows and a slightly snobby look. Derek sighed, turning his head as to not look at the two idiots in front of him. Eleanora finally decided to just pinch Mark, the older man let out a sharp yell of pain.

She put on a smile automatically, offering her hand for Hahn to shake. "It's lovely to meet you, Dr. Hahn."

Mark focused on the Cardio Surgeon before him, rubbing the sore spot on his arm from where Eleanora pinched. He made an impressed noise, nodding in recognition. "Ah, the new Burke."

Eleanora slowly lowered her hand when Hahn just stared at it like it was the most revolting thing she's ever seen. Her face falls, Derek noticing her and Mark's inability to be normal human beings. He gave Erica a tight lipped smile, grabbing Mark by the shoulder with one hand and softly leading a pouting Eleanora beside him with the other.

"Welcome. Excuse us." Derek spoke, leading the two away. His words were low, but he had a laugh in then. "You two are unbelievable. Children, really."

Eleanora's face was sad as she looked up at the two Attending's. "I don't think she liked me."

"She probably doesn't like anyone, Doll."

Derek furrowed his brows at the nickname but knew not to ask about it until Eleanora wasn't nearby. If he pointed it out, he would probably embarrass the living hell out of the young woman. Instead, he decided to ask them a question that he had been wondering about since this morning.

"Do either of you know what a Gentlemen's Evening is?" Richard asked me to one."

Mark's lips pulled into a goofy smile, and Eleanora's face heated up. She quickly shook her head, turning to walk away from the two men.

"I don't want to be here for this. See you two later!"

She scurried down the halls, Derek calling after her. Mark smirked, looking at him smugly.

"What exactly do you mean when you say 'gentlemen's evening'?" Mark inquired, Derek focusing back on him.

"I...I don't know. It's an evening with gentlemen."

"And strippers?"

"No! I don't think the Chief meant strippers." Derek's voice was shocked, staring at his friend with narrowed eyes. "Did Eleanora think it meant strippers?"

Mark shrugged, continuing to smile as they walked. Derek's voice became slightly panicked, worried that he might have just hinted the Chief of Surgery would be taking him to see strippers.

"Mark, does Eleanora think it means strippers?!"

as she was helping Mark out on plastics, Eleanora followed him to the ER. She was practically skipping beside him, excited to finally get her hands on a patient.

"I hear you have a broken nose down here!" Mark boomed, but soon became confused when he noticed the big wedding dress the two patients were holding.

Eleanora tilted her head, stopping beside Mark as she asked the question that was on both of their minds. "Why are the patients holding onto a bloody wedding dress?"

"It's not about the dress." One of the women snarked, causing Eleanora to raise her brows slightly. Her and Mark share a look before heading to the patients to try and check them out.

"Can't they...can't they just split the prize?" Callie asked a man with a name tag that had the word "JUDGE" in big, bold letters.

"I offered that 14 hours ago." The man spoke, obviously annoyed and tired of the situation at hand. Eleanora made a small noise, taking count of the face lacerations. She checked the patient's nose, realizing Mark must be with the one who has broken hers.

"It is a $100,000 wedding package, and I am not splitting it with anyone!" Eleanora winced at the yell, looking over when George walked in. She gave him a soft nod, focusing back on her patient. George stared back at her, opening his mouth to say something to her but deciding against it. He focused on the scene in front of him, his brows furrowing and voice sounding disappointed.

"Oh, you're bleeding on your dress."

"It's not about that dress!" Everyone snapped, causing George to jump. Eleanora pulled away from her patient, going to grab a few things to clean out some of the minor face wounds. She noticed Mark and Callie whispering in the corner, both of their hard eyes on George.

Eleanora bit the inside of her cheek, giving a small sigh. Mark was looking for any reason to mess with George, he had told her himself. Not only did he cheat on his best friend, but he hurt Eleanora in the process. She knew she couldn't ask for him to leave him alone, seeing as she still bothered him about just leaving Alex be.

She shook her head and focused back on her patient, giving George a look out of the corner of her eye.

He was probably going to hate today.

_______

hey! Can I talk to you for a moment?"

Eleanora looked up from where she was grabbing supplies from a closet to see Lexie in the doorway. She gave her a smile, turning back to continue getting what she needed.
