Seven years...

...pass and it's during daylight hours. Beatrice is walking around the training ground as Beerus watches her from his bedroom window, nervous and enamoured simultaneously. Chi-Chi enters the room and notices this.

"Are you okay, Beerus?" Chi-Chi asks

"I want to take our relationship to the next level. But I don't know if Beatrice wants the same." Beerus admits

"You want to propose, right?"

"Yes, I do."

"I don't think today is a good day for that. Beatrice has just found out about her mother's death and isn't in the right frame of mind for a proposal. Beatrice was very close to her mother; they were like the best of friends."

"So, you're saying...?"

"Beatrice will want to be alone to grieve."

As for Beatrice, she soon teleports to her bedroom, underneath the covers and starts crying, remembering all the good times with her mother. As for Beerus, he's quick to hear this as his bedroom is next door to Beatrice's.

"Beatrice needs someone to hold. I don't care about proposing right now; she needs me."

"Okay, just please, if she says anything, listen to her and give her what she wants."

"I will."

Beerus then teleports to Beatrice's bedside and kneels down to her level.

"Babe, are you okay?" Beerus asks

"No, I miss my mother so badly and now I'll never be able to see her again." Beatrice cries from under the covers

"Do you want someone to hold?"

"Yes please, more than anything else..."

Beerus then teleports to Beatrice's side, under the covers. Beatrice then turns to him as he starts hugging her gently.

"What was your mother like?"

"She was amazing, we were like best friends. We would talk all the time before I moved here, she had a heart of gold."

"Just like you."

"Yes, and she was the only Spellcaster to understand me and help with my downfalls. If I had saw her, just one final time, I'd feel so much better. But I didn't, that must've hurt her the most."

"Your mother would've understood why you couldn't come back and wouldn't have loved you any less than before. Besides, you have me, Chi-Chi, Goku and the children to turn to."

"But no-one can replace her, never."

Beatrice then starts crying again and Beerus hugs her, rubbing her back to soothe her.

"I'm sorry to bring you into this."

"You don't have to be. I'd never stop loving you the same because of grieving. You're still mine and that'll never change. I love you, Beatrice; now and always."

Beerus wipes Beatrice's tears away before kissing her. Beatrice soon eases into the kiss and hugs Beerus, unknowingly stroking his back and earning a small moan. Beerus then returns the gesture, earning the same response. The pair then separate, quickly realising where that will lead. A few hours pass and night falls; Beerus falls asleep and Beatrice is wide awake. Beatrice then teleports to the nearest lake, bare footed and puts her feet in the water, causing them to change into fins and the rest of her bottom half to become a tail. Beatrice is quick to notice this and become nervous.

'Wait, I'm part mermaid?!' Beatrice thinks to herself

As for Beerus, he awakens at midnight, noticing that Beatrice isn't with him. After locating her, Beerus teleports to Beatrice, noticing her feet in the water. He looks up her legs and realises that Beatrice has a mermaid tail.

"Are you okay, Beatrice?" Beerus asks

"I don't know. I've just found out that I'm part mermaid and I'm worried about what the others will think."

"You have to tell the others; you are legally obliged as a Truth Seeker to do this." A voice says

The pair soon look round and Beatrice recognises the spirit speaking.

"Mother, what're you doing here?!" Beatrice asks, surprised by the encounter

Beerus then hugs Beatrice, trying to soothe her.

"Your mermaid part comes from me, I'm so sorry, Beatrice. Who is the male?" Beatrice's mother responds, asking

"This is Beerus, he's my boyfriend of seven years."

"It is lovely to meet you, Beerus. I see that you're treating my daughter better than Vegeta and Bulma did."

"Wait, you know about that?" Beerus asks

"Yes, I do and I say thank you for caring for my daughter."

"Anything for my girl. She's a diamond with a heart of gold."

"Oh, thank you Beerus. You're amazing yourself." Beatrice responds

The pair then briefly kiss, catching Beatrice's mother's attention.

"I'm surprised you two aren't married yet."

The pair then blush, with Beerus becoming nervous, for Beatrice to notice.

"Are you okay, baby? You look nervous."

"I'll be okay, babe. Thanks for asking."

"Anyway, I think you two need some privacy."

"Mother, wait!"

"Yes?"

"Why have I got this new form?"

"This was meant to happen when you turned thirty-one years old, since it's part of your coming of age."

"But I'm thirty-four, and what do you mean by coming of age?"

"There are specific ages of which your powers and forms develop to make you a more advanced Spellcaster. Mermaid forms happen once every ten generations and are a rare familial phenomenon. You're one of the rare Spellcasters."

Beatrice then looks out to the lake, coming to terms with her new form.

"Is this survivable?" Beerus asks, worried

"Yes, this is just another form that Beatrice will have for life."

"Another, you mean there are more?"

"Yes, Spellcasters can have up to six extra forms, including their destined partner animal that they've got to find before their forty-fifth birthday. After finding the destined partner animal, that form is replaced with a new one." Beatrice admits, shedding a tear or two soon adding "Mother, could you leave please?"

"Sure thing, sweetheart."

Beatrice's mother then disappears and Beerus turns to Beatrice and holds her as she starts crying.

"I'm sorry, Beerus, for all of this. You don't deserve to be put through this..." Beatrice says

"If this is you, I don't care. I'll still love you the same. Plus, I love your new form." Beerus responds

"Really?"

"Yes, really. I wouldn't leave you just because you've got something new. You're the best woman that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and getting close to."

Beatrice then hugs Beerus, kissing his cheek.

"Thank you, babe."

"It's all good, Bea. I think you should go for a swim before you dry out."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I want you to make the most of the form you are now."

"Okay, thank you. Please, go back home and sleep. I'll see you in the morning."

"See you in the morning, baby."

Beerus then kisses Beatrice's hand before teleporting home. Beatrice then goes underwater and allows her magic to complete the transformation, with her top merging with the tail. Beatrice then swims away, getting used to her new tail. After a few hours, Beatrice comes out of the water and gets out, flicking her hair back. She then sits on the grass as her magic brings her original outfit back and dries her hair, body and face. Beatrice then teleports back to her bedroom, noticing Beerus turned to the window, wide awake; she then goes to Beerus and holds his face in her hand.

"Babe, are you okay?" Beatrice asks, concerned

"I'm worried about us." Beerus admits

"This is because of my new form, isn't it?"

"Yes, it is."

Beatrice then kisses Beerus, rubbing his cheek.

"Thank you for being honest, it means a lot. Also, you don't need to worry about our relationship; you're the only one I think about when I change forms. Besides, I don't mind you coming to be with me when I've changed forms, you're more important to me than any of them. I love you Beerus, that'll never change babe."

Beatrice then kisses Beerus again, reassuring and calming him simultaneously. Beerus then pulls Beatrice on top of him, still kissing her. The pair briefly separate to catch some air.

"Baby, I've missed this." Beerus admits

"Me too, I want you so bad." Beatrice responds

Beerus then kisses Beatrice's neck, making her hot and wanting more. After a while, the pair are undressed and having slow, passionate sex. Sometime later, Beerus kisses Beatrice's neck as they both get close. Then...

"Baby, faster, please..." Beatrice requests close to her climax

Beerus speeds up, unknowingly hitting Beatrice's sweet spot with each thrust.

"Oh yes, right there... Oh...!"

After a short while, both kiss as they climax. They soon separate and Beerus takes Beatrice into his arms, hugging her and stroking her hair simultaneously.

"I love you, Beerus."

"I love you too, Beatrice."

The pair enjoy each other's warmth as they both fall asleep. A few hours later, sensing danger, Beatrice's magic redresses both herself and Beerus, ensuring that Beerus'... is out of Beatrice first. After, someone teleports into the room and grabs Beerus, taking his sleeping body to a different location. They then tie Beerus to a tree and prod his side to awaken him. Beerus soon awakens, noticing the different surroundings and person who got him where he is. Vegeta.

"You! What do you want?!" Beerus asks, unimpressed

"You don't deserve a woman like Beatrice; seven years and you still aren't married. What kind of boyfriend are you?" Vegeta answers

"A boyfriend who treats his woman right, doesn't use her for sex, who's loyal, considerate, honest and never hides secrets from his woman. Unlike you and Bulma."

"I would've thought that Beatrice would be bothered about not being married yet."

"Beatrice loves me nonetheless and has done from day one. Besides, she deserves better than you and Bulma. You low life scum."

As for Beatrice, she awakens and notices Beerus' absence. Concerned, she locates and teleports to where he's being held captive, to notice him tied to a tree and Vegeta invading his space and berating him.

"Vegeta, what are you doing to my boyfriend?!" Beatrice asks, unimpressed

"Well, if it isn't Beatrice."

Beatrice then prepares an attack.

"Get away from Beerus, you scumbag!"

As Vegeta gets closer to her, Beatrice backs away.

"You can stay away from me. I don't want you to touch me, anywhere at all."

"Or what, you're gonna shoot that ball at me?"

"I can and will if you don't leave me and Beerus alone."

"You won't get the opportunity, Beatrice. You two are free, this time. I will be back."

Vegeta then teleports back home as Beatrice's magic frees Beerus and she starts crying in fear. Beerus runs to and hugs Beatrice. Oblivious to the future, the pair go home, with Beatrice fearing for her life.
