Crabbe and Goyle

"About time you came back. What took you so long?"

"We ended up not being able to find the frog-"

"Toad."

"Right." Rune plopped back into the seat across from Draco when he returned to the compartment they had shared before he had went to help Hermione. "The girl I was helping figured we should go back to our seats since she thinks we're about to arrive."

Arriving at Hogwarts... the thought alone was both exciting and nerve wrecking. Hopefully, this would be more the former than the latter. It would suck if Rune's time at Hogwarts was spent doing nothing but worrying. His gaze moved expectantly outside the window. The sun was starting to set, giving the sky a purple glow that steadily grew into a dark blue that would eventually become the inky black night.

The outside was temporarily blocked as they went through a tunnel within a mountain.

When they re-emerged on the other side of the tunnel, Draco and they both awed at the sight of the castle in the distance, leaning closer to window as if it would help them get a better look. The castle-like school rose high above the clouds, the lights coming from its windows shimmering on the lake that rested at its feet. It looked amazing at night with the only other source of light being the moon and stars high up above to illuminate the castle's towers and roofs. Rune have never seen, let alone been, to a place like this before. That fact, alone, only made him more excited to go to Hogwarts.

The train began to pull into a station and people already began heading down the isles to get off. Excitement bubbled within his chest as he jumped up to his feet, a smile plastered onto his face.

Honestly, he acted before thinking, his anticipation getting the best of him. "Come on!" Rune's hand took hold of Draco's and tugged him onto his feet before leading the way out the compartment.

The boy nearly stumbled in response, his grip tightening on his hand to keep his balance for a short moment. Rune didn't release his hand until they finally got outside the train.

Rune looked both left and right as to figure out where to go. His gaze stopped to his left upon noticing a large man standing there with a lantern in hand and a grey dog at his side. He held the lantern up and spoke with a loud projected voice, "First years-- line up over 'ere!" A boy towards the front of the group called out his name, Hagrid, in greeting, to which the gentle giant responded, "Hello, Harry! You doin' alright?"

"So he really is here." The blonde spoke his affirmation out loud.

Rune looked at him in confusion.

"You mean Harry? How come everyone keeps talking about him like he solved world hunger or something...?"

Draco looked at Rune like he had just said the most obvious thing, "Of course I do! Do you honestly not know why he's so famous?"

Rune shook his head no, which Draco rolled his eyes to, "Of course not. They don't tell you, mudbloods, anything." Draco said as everyone looked at Rune which made Rune feel a bit bad because he hates attention.

Mud...what? What was a mudblood?

He crossed his arms over his chest and continued to speak, "Harry Potter is so famous because he's the one who defeated the most evil wizard in the world when he was just a baby."

Rune's eyes widened. "Just a baby? How did he manage to do that?"

"No one really knows. All they know was that Harry survived an attack from You-Know-Who, we don't say his actual name, and was left with nothing more than a lightning bolt shaped scar right there." Draco let his arms drop from their folded position and pointed to a spot on Rune's head, just above his eyebrow.

Rune did remember seeing some sort of scar through Harry's bangs when speaking to him earlier-- was it really lightning shaped?

"That everyone? Alright, follow me!" Hagrid turned around and began to lead the way down a lantern lit dirt path.

As the group began to move, they began to move with it as to not hold up anyone or potentially get trampled on. The dirt path was mostly straight until they got towards the end, where it curved to the right to begin a semi-circle shaped path. "Here we are... Everyone on a boat! Only four in each, if you please."

Hagrid stood to the side of a large black lake-- the same one Rune saw earlier when the train was approaching the station earlier.

The stars, moon, and castle lights made the water's surface glitter, as if it was a perfect replica of the stary night above. The boats rocked lazily on the water, awaiting its passengers. Some students already were attempting to get on the boat. Some made it on successfully while others ended up in the water in some way. Rune turned towards the nearest boat, expecting Draco to follow.

"Crabbe, Goyle-- where have the two of you been? Weren't the two of you supposed to come find me after getting on the train?" Rune stopped at the sound of the blonde addressing two other kids, turning to see who they were.

They were two boys who seemed to know Draco pretty well. Perhaps they knew each other before coming here. Both were rather pudgy though one was shorter than Draco and the other was taller than all three of them. The three spoke to each other now in hushed voices. As they did, the two boys threw glances towards Rune-- first in confusion, and then slight glares before going back to a neutral expression after the taller one said something.

Rune looked back at the boats for a moment, noticing how most were all ready to go. Rune shifted anxiously for a moment before going up to them. The shorter one began to speak before being nudged by the taller boy, the both of them looking at Rune again.

This time, Draco turned around to face Rune as well. He spoke before Rune could, "Rune, I'd like you to meet Crabbe," He gestured to the shorter one, "and Goyle," He gestured to the taller one. Rune looked between Crabbe and Goyle, hesitantly holding Rune hand out to them.
