Carson grimaced. See Ivy personally? She said she would do anything to be normal but he also knew how much she didn't want to be a lab rat. This overenthusiastic mad scientist type would probably be very off-putting for her.

"Is there any other way?" he asked. "She's really sensitive about all of this stuff and doesn't want anything to do with other powered people. All she wants is to live her life in peace so I'm not sure she'll agree."

Matthew sighed. "…I know I can be overeager at times. How about this? Talk to your friend about coming over and if she agrees I'll get my sister to come along as well. She's good at reining me in."

Carson supposed that was the best deal he was going to get. He needed to talk to her and see if she was even willing to go along with this before he made any promises.
