CHAPTER 19

~JIN'S POV~

"I think we need to be more careful about what we do with Lily outside this castle." Luke

"I agree there." Han

I sighed and rubbed my temple sitting on the sofa with my elbows resting on my knees.

"You have to admit though she had fun and so did everyone else."

"Yeah. I mean it's our garden!" Ruel

We know someone was watching us in our garden earlier this afternoon and we know who exactly it was, we didn't even notice his scent until we heard something snap from between the trees. I personally didn't see him but I heard him and I could smell him. He smells rotten, just like his own soul, disgusting.

"What's taking Ren and Damon so long!?" Newt

He was pacing back and forth in the room with his hands behind his back.

"Calm down Newt. They're only taking Lily to the dining hall for something to eat and they have to find Dahyun and bring him here so we can talk to him about thus situation."

He nods but doesn't look my way when I've turned my whole body to watch him while I'm seated on the sofa.

"That Guy really gets on my last nerves and I don't want to lose my control." Ruel

His hands balled into fists as he sits next to me and I don't blame him this guy has been trying to take us down I. some way and agree to his way, the way he thinks we should live. He's up to something, I just know, why else would he be here?

Newt gasps and throws a glass at the wall.

"Newt!"

"What the hell!" Luke

"What if he now knows about Lily? About who she is to us!?" Newt

He was red faced and balled fists. He was pissed at the thought and it angered me too but i know how to keep cool.

"God I hope not." Han

The doors open and Damon, Ren and Dahyun come walking in. Damon and Ren don't look happy bcz they know the current situation but Dahyun was clueless and confused to why he would be asked to come to our office for this private meeting.

"Was Lily okay leaving her in dining hall?" Ruel

Ren huffed and ruffled his hairs and sitting in a single seated chair in the far end of the room while Damon nodded.

"Yeah, she's fine. She's with Joy and I order Paul to keep a close eye on her just in case." Damon

"You didn't tell him about you know who, did you?" Han

None of us want say that vampire's name. We hate him with every bone in our bodies so to say his name is like an unspoken swear. Ren scoffs and folds his arms over his chest rolling his eyes. I could smack him right now for his rudeness but because of the stress i'll let it side.

"No I didn't tell him why?" Damon

"I beg your pardon but what's going on here?" Dahyun

He was glancing at each of individually and I knew he could tell we were all stressed and worried which is not common for us at all. We're used to acting first and ask questions later. But this time we know it involves Lily and we have to be careful.

"We had a visitor this afternoon and he seen us in the garden by the pond with Lily and her friend." Han

"I didn't know you had further guests coming today. Who was it?" Dahyun

I sighed and lowered my head, thinking about the one man we hate with a passion.

"It's Marcus. He's back."

I spoke with a lowered voice not daring to look up at anything but the floor beneath my foot.

"Oh. Wait, why didn't any of you notice he was there in the first place. You all can usually tell he's there without having to see him." Dahyun

"Yeah no shit." Luke

There was gust of mind brushed past my back and a thud. I looked up to see Newt pressing up Dahyun to the wall beside the door.

"Why did you have Lily come here!? Now she's in danger and we told you that would happen if she's around us!" Newt

I got up and ran towards Newt to pull him back away by the shoulder to release Dahyun from his strong grip. Luckily Newt was holding Dahyun by the collar of his shirt and not his actual neck. Newt sometimes doesn't have control in his own strength when it comes to times like this.

"Newt there's no need to take it out on Dahyun. Now apologize!"

He glared at me but I raised a brow at him to not challenge me this time. I'm equally angry and I don't have time to deal with his childish fit. He sighed and mumbled I'm sorry before walking over to the alcohol and pouring himself a drink. I weakly smiled at Dahyun and he smiled lightly back, wiping down this torso.

"She won't be in danger. She has the seven of you that will do anything for her." Dahyun

"That's true!" Ren

"What makes you so sure he would know Lily would be your mate? She told me that Joy was going to the pond with all of you too." Dahyun

"Yes she did but we can never be sure." Han

"Well Newt was all over her in the water." Damon

He said he took my spot on the sofa I once sat at with a smirk on his face. Dahyun on the other hand was curious but hesitant to ask. I could see it all over his confused face.

"What do yo-" Dahyun

"He was making out with her constantly." Ren

It amuses me watching Dahyun's face screw up in disgust at thinking about the fact. All eyes were now turned to Newt who seems a little more calm now after taking a few shots of alcohol and pouring himself a new one looking all innocent as he pauses mid way and looks at everyone innocently and shrugs.

"What? She's hot." Newt

"And our mate Newt." Ruel

"Yeah yeah. That too." Newt

He seems like he's only into her bcz of her beauty but we all know that's not the case. If it was he would of fucked her by now and got rid of her the hard way, killing her.

"What are we all going to do about it?" Dahyun

"To be honest for the first time ever, We don't know what to do." Han

"What? Why? This is Lily we are talking about. Her safety!" Dahyun

He was panicked now knowing that Marcus could quite possibly have his eyes on Lily. He always wants what we have but thus time this just ain't anything this is Lily, our mate, soulmate, love.

Luke stands and kicks the desk across the room facing Ren to drop and roll across the floor away from the broken bits of wood.

"Luke!" Ren

"Oh come on. Not another one." Han

"WE KNOW LILY'S SAFETY IS AT RISK!! YOU DON'T HAVE TO REMIND US!!" Luke

He was literally in Dahyun face shouting at the top of his lungs while all Dahyun could do was stand and listen to Luke shout at him in fear. I'm starting to feel sorry for the guy, we've never treated him this way before but ever since Lily came to stay here we taken our frustrations out on him, a lot.

I reached over to pull Luke away this time but he shrugs me off as he steps back on his own.

"What we're trying to say Dahyun is that we're very worried about Lily now and the only thing we can think of right now is to not let her our side even in the garden untill we figure out what he was even doing here in the first place." Han

"What about Lily coming home? She's suppose to come home next Sunday." Dahyun

He seems a little more relaxed now after Han explaining in a calm manner that we don't know what to do but keep Lily inside with us. We can't take any chances.

"We'll think about it."

"I don't want her to leave! EVER!" Ren

"Me too. She should stay here! " Ruel

I too wanted her to stay. Now that's she's here I don't like the thought of her going away again. There's a week left of her staying here until she's going back home but no I don't want that to happen.

"Maybe you guys can talk to her? See if she wants to stay here with all of you." Dahyun

A grin appeared on his face for the first time since he's cane into the room.

"You would be okay with that? Lily staying here with us?" Damon

"Well Lily does have school. She graduates in a few months so that's very important." Dahyun

"We can sort something for that." Han

"Well I don't have a problem at all. If she wants to stay here then that's perfectly fine. Seriously guys ask her. In my opinion she'd be safer here anyway." Dahyun

He looks at all of around the room, watching our reactions. I would love nothing more in this world for her to stay with us.

"We should ask her tomorrow." Newt

His mood was clearly lightened up just as anyone else in the room.

"Yes. We'll talk to her tomorrow about this." Han

Yes!

We all laughed and giggled at the thought. By the end of next week she could be living with us!!
