Chapter: 7

Jasmine:

"You have got to be kidding me"of Ben and holly say with complete shock In their eyes

"I know right??" I said faceplaming

"But this is all your fault Diane" Holly said crossing my arms around her chest and shaking her head disappointedly

"Me?!!" I said

"Yeah. If only you listened to me, this would never have happened"she said in a weird tone

"She does have a point" Ben said quietly

"Whatevs" I said rolling my eyes and plopping on my bed.

"So what happened with your mom?" Holly asks

"Well she only made me model for one of her unfinished dresses for her fashion line" I say in a bored tone

"Ugh I hate those things" she says rolling her eyes

"Tell me about it" I said with an irritated look

"Then my dad gave me a pep talk well threatened me that if there are any more slip-ups, Im leaving the school for life" I say

"Wow... Just be careful okay?" She says with a small smile

"I will b" I say hugging her

"Well ladies I think this is my cue to leave" Ben said getting up and straighting his shirt.

"Bye" Holly said smiling at him

"Ugh!!" I groaned into my pillow

"Bye diane and or jasmine" he said with a smirk on his face

I stare at the ceiling as I think of everything that happened today. Why is all this happening to me?

I was homeschooled and after a lot of begging, I finally got the chance to go to a real school, I completely blew it

Who am I kidding, this all thanks to that stupid greek god face idiot. I hate him so much 😑

But I can't help but feel a little worried about what Brett said

"You're gonna regret coming to this school nerd" his voice echoed in my head

Oh God help me become invincible like the chameleon from Rango. I prayed before drifting off

The next morning I wake up silently praying for Brett to have amnesia and go bother someone else

I look into my closet and pick out a black hoodie and a pair of my biker shorts with my vans. Just to blend in with the crowd so that cocky idiot doesn't find me

Holly told me he doesn't hit girls but I'm not taking any chances from that psycho so I put some pepper spray into my pockets

What? I'm too young to die

I sprint down the stairs and watch Holly stuff her face with pancakes and squirting chocolate syrup into her mouth.

A sad smile creeps to my face, I miss home.

"Hey cuz!" She screamed with her food in her mouth

"Hey!" I said mimicking her earning her classic eye roll and she walks over to me

"Jeez did someone die?" She asked referring to my all black outfit

"Excuse me for not wanting to die young" I huffed

"Well you look beautiful either ways" she smiled and she grabbed her keys

"Where are your parents anyways" I asked curiously

"Nairobi, my mom wants to start her official fashion line and my dad went with her for support. They're gonna be gone for a while" she said with a shrug

I'm used to my parents not being home anyway

"So let's go?" I asked

"Yea" she said as we headed out the door

After holly gives me a five minute pep talk and Ben swears to kill Brett if he crosses his boundaries, I finally walk into the hallways and pull my hoodie on top of my head.

I thank the bubble gum princess Brett doesn't spot me in the crowd. The only classes I have with him are English lit and Biology so I hope my blood doesn't end up getting smeared against the lockers.

I walk past a few people and I hear people's whispers. They all have one thing in common. Me. Well me standing up to Brett and not being dead yet. Yes, I empasized on the word yet

Operation get to class and leave school without that stupid greek god finding you is a go!!

I walk as speedily as possible and I blend perfectly into the crowd thanks to my hoodie.

I somehow get through half my classes without Brett seeing me. I'm pretty sure he thinks I stayed home because I'm scared of him.

Ha! That is impossible. I'm not scared of anybody. Okay, that's a lie I'm extremely terrified by that stupid greek god.

Some things you should know about me are:

1. I'm one of those people that goes down a fight as a cocky bastard and not as a scaredy cat even when I am.

2. I can kill for food. Trust me on that one and I have the super power of eating a lot and still staying in shape cue wipes nails on shirt

3. 24kgoldn. That's all I can say

4. I'm first of all shy and or mean at first, then BOOM I'm the most annoying person you've ever met

Yup, so I'm just a nerdy and crazy fan girl who apparantly is the daughter of a senator. No autographs please

I walk out of my homeroom and

head to the cafeteria. I spot Brett talking to one of his deliquent football friends.

I put my head down and pick up my pace.

Please don't find me

Please don't find. I keep repeating to myself like a mantra

"Hey isn't that the nerd that sassed you?" The jock says and Brett's head whips up like a cheetah who just had five gallons of coffee and our eyes meet

He stares daggers into me and my heart sinks.

Oh no.

I try to run but my stupid feet are stuck to the ground. Brett walks over to me with a scowl on his perfect face

A crowd starts forming and my heart is racing so fast I'm scared it will fall out.

"You little.. you have no idea how much I want to hurt you. But I won't" he says with hate clearly laced in his voice

"Too scared?" I said before slapping my hands over my mouth. I really need to learn how to keep my mouth shut. I mean, why the heck do I always act like a cocky bastard?!

"Oooh" the crowd says making Brett growl at me but he doesn't move

"Why you little.." Brett said before getting caught off by Ben

"Would you just lay off her?" Ben says with irritation clear in his voice

"It's none of your business Hart" Brett said in a harsh tone

Wait a minute. How does Brett know Ben's name?

"Just leave her alone. She did nothing to you" he said stepping in front of me

"So you finally decided to come back here huh?" Brett said wickedly

"That's none of your damn business Brett. But I'm gonna make this simple and short stay away from Jasmine" Ben said with anger in his voice

"Whatever" Brett said rolling his eyes and walking away. His minions trailed behind him and the crowd goes back to their normal lives

"Let's go sit down" Ben said before pulling me by the arm to the table where holly is
