Yuna examined the ring permanently marking her finger. "I guess that really happened." Yuna sighed. "So, what happens now?"
"Well what would you like to happen?" Joe asked. "I think we first need to decide what to do with your elf friend."
"Can you just let her go?" Yuna asked.
"If I just let her go, she will just run to your hero's guild and tell them all you have been kidnapped be the terrible awful demon lord." Joe sighed. "Then I will have to deal with killing an army of heroes. That would really put a damper on the peace talks."
"We could just ask her not to tell anyone." Yuna suggested. "You wouldn't tell anyone if we asked you not to. Would you Elvin?"
"Yuna?" Elvin said as she stood up. "I can't just abandon you, my friend."
"Surely you have other friends." Yuna said. "It's not safe here, I can't risk anything happening to you."
"I want to stay." Elvin said. "Please don't make me leave."
"She is a dedicated friend." Joe said. "You should let her stay with us, we have plenty of rooms in the castle. I promise that she will be granted my protection."
"Really?" Yuna asked. "Thank you."
"Please, it is the least a husband can do for his new wife on their wedding day." Joe said. "Tyrell would you please show the elf to an empty room and make sure that she is comfortable. Give her a tour of the place as well and let everyone know she is not to be harmed."
"Yes, your lordship." Tyrell said as she grabbed Elvin and left the room.
"See you later Yuna!" Elvin said as she was pulled off.
Yuna's stomach growled as soon as the two were alone in the room. "What's this? Is my new wife hungry?" Joe asked. "Please name your meal and I shall have my finest chefs prepare you a meal fit for the demon queen."
"Wow, thanks." Yuna said. "Well I could really go for a hamburger, no a cheeseburger. Oh, and French fries."
"I do not know what a burger is, nor do I know these French flies that you want. Please explain." Joe said.
"French Fries!" Yuna responded. "Not Flies. You know, diced up potatoes fried in oil? As for a burger its ground beef patted into a disk and then grilled, placed between two pieces of bread with cheese mayonnaise lettuce and tomato."
"I don't know what any of the things you just said were." Joe replied. "Could you explain it better?"
"How do I put it." Yuna said. She had a determined look on her face as she thought hard of how to describe the food she wanted.
"You're cute when you think hard." Joe teased. "I like it."
Yuna blushed at being called cute. It had been a long time since a man other than her coworker flirted with her. "Don't call people cute out of nowhere!" She demanded.
"You're cute when you are slightly upset as well." Joe teased. Yuna then put a sour look on her face and crossed her arms. "And still cute." Joe continued to tease. "Come now, Yuna let's go get you a burger."
"I thought you didn't know what they were." Yuna replied.
"I was merely teasing you." Joe said. "I wanted to see your reactions. I am glad I did; it was very entertaining." He looked at her upset face. "Still cute."
Joe left the throne room and Yuna followed after him. She was amazed how big the castle was. Room after room, hallway after hallway, the castle seemed to go on endlessly. "This place is insane." Yuna said with her mouth open wide in amazement.
"Yes, I have been lord for a long time." Joe explained. "We demons do not age and die as humans do. Our eternal lives are only cut short if we are killed. Of course, most demons are killed by other demons."
"Why is that?" Yuna asked.
"Mainly because of demon culture." Joe said. "When a demon dies, the demon who killed them takes their place. As I once killed my own father to become the demon lord some other demon could challenge me. Speaking of which some of the female demons may try to kill you so that they can take your place as my wife."
"What now?!" Yuna shouted. "I can't fight upper level demons! I won't survive the day!"
"Fear not, when you are by my side no one will dare challenge you." Joe said. "But don't discount your own abilities either. You have yet to discover what you are capable of."
Yuna got closer to her new husband out of fear of the other demons now that she knew they would eventually try and kill her. "Can you teach me how to use my mana?" She asked. "I need to learn so I can defend myself from any attacks."
"I would be a horrible teacher for you." Joe said.
"Why is that?" Yuna asked.
"You would die within seconds of my training." Joe explained. "I have never been able to hold back, my sister will be a much better instructor than me. I will command her to train you when she finishes seeing the elf around. The training will probably be helpful in your plan to kill the king."
"As long as it helps me stay alive." Yuna said. "How much longer is it to the kitchen? I am starved."
"Not too much." Joe said. "In fact, we are here." They then entered a room with a large table in the center of it. The table had at least fifty chairs on either side of it. "Your seat shall be the right side of the head, since my seat is at the head. Let's just sit down and the chef will be out shortly to take our order."
Yuna sat in her chair as instructed and as promised the chef came out of a side room and took their order. Joe ordered a dragon steak and Yuna ordered her burger, although she was tempted to find out what dragon tasted like. The two then sat and waited for their food to arrive.
"So Yuna, tell me are you a virgin?" Joe asked, causing Yuna to fall directly out of her chair.
