Hello there! Honestly, I was debating whether or not to write a review in my own work, but hell, everyone is doing it. So, there are a few things I want to say about this.
Let me say that this is not really a spoiler, but I explain some things regarding to the type of story I am writing, so maybe you don't want to read this. It wouldn't affect you, probably, but you know, just giving a heads-up.
First of all, my primary focus in the story is character development. So, please don’t expect a work like all those others out there I’ve read where the MC grows to be an absolute existence before they even finish the academy (Fuhaku, I am talking to you. Yeah, you’ll know if you know.). In here, the MC will have a gradual increase in strength. But, there WILL be a system, so yeah, some opness is unavoidable, I’ll just try to limit it to what has been seen in canon.
And talking about systems. As you have probably read in the title, it is a training system, not a freaking all-high-and-mighty sentient system (Shadow Hack, this time I am talking to you.). But anyway, read until the system is introduces and you will understand what I mean.
Now, the story itself will be a little separate and different from the canon. If what you want is an alternate universe of Naruto’s adventures, well this is not for you, I’m afraid. Naruto will, of course, be an important character in the novel, but not the main one. This is an OC people, an SI/OC. (Self Insert / Original Character. For those of you with a life outside of the internet. If you still don’t get it, google it. Seriously. Might be important for your future.)
Well, let’s talk about mechanics and the chakra system. I have changed (and will change) a bit of things. Nothing to big, really, but there will be a change. For example, completely new jutsus or techniques. Also, the kekkei Genkai of some combination elements (lava/magnet/wood release) will be changed to match what has been seen in the show, and to match my imaginative mind. And there may or may not be a completely new Kekkei Tota (like Oonoki’s and Mu’s Dust release). Stuff to be aware of. I will create a chapter 0 for all of you in which this information will be explained, but not for the important parts of the story. Like the specialty of MC after time skip, or stuff like that.
And now, for the authoring bits. I do NOT know what my release rate will be, but hopefully somewhere between 5 and 7 chapters per week. Although realistically, it may be more like 3 – 5. I do not have an editor or a beta, and I utterly DESPISE editing, so expect spelling, and maybe one or two grammar mistakes. English is not my first language and honestly, I consider myself to be pretty proficient with it as it is. Sue me. Also, my vocabulary is not as extensive as I would like it to be, so it may not be a story for you brain-jugs that get off at seven syllable words. Not going to happen.
This is my secondary profile, because my brother would KILL me if he knew I was working on a Naruto Fanfic instead of my original work (which is on pause to write the first arc of this story, thank you very much), so I will maybe take some hiatuses here and there to continue with my main profile’s novel.
And yeah, I gave myself 5 stars because I am utterly shameless and enjoy the attention. I’m a praise-whore. I don’t mind.
