I don't know how long I had slept. all that I know is I am saved now. That's more than enough.

I realized one thing. In this time my life has to start over. I decided to never come back to my family. My life and my family matters just too complicated. That's better if they consider that I am dead already.

My body is still weak. It is difficult to make any move now. I try to open my eyes and I see that girl sleep on the chair. Did she take care of me during the night? Then memories about yesterday fulfills my mind. Now, I don't think she is a bad person. I think she can kill me if she wants but she doesn't, even if she takes care of me. She looks so exhausted also.

She opens her eyes and approaches me. Her face looks so pale but still manages to give me her warm smile.

"Hi, how do you feel right now?" She asked.

"I feel better. Your face looks so pale. Are you okay?"

"Uhm... I am okay. I don't know your family contact, since you are awake, that's better if you contact your family member to pick you up here."

"I don't think that I can come back to them. Thank you for taking care of me. My name is Luo Fei Yang."

"I am Bai He Lian."

"I did but I thought that all just dreamt."

"No. I saw it but I pretended that I fainted that time. Do you know them?"

"I don't know." I answered.

Now the silence fulfilling this room. We were scared. These weird things happened to us not just her but me as well. Also, I don't know how to pay the hospital bill. Oh God, help me.

I look at Bai He Lian's pale face. I think she will expose our runaway plan through her face.

"Miss Luo Fei Yang, what are Miss going to do? " She asked.

"Nothing. I just- just want to go outside." I answered with a trembling voice.

"Miss Luo Fei Yang can come home today."

"Where is the administration place?" I asked.

"No need. All the fees had been paid. Miss can go home and these are the medicines."

The nurse gives me a goody bag full of medicines then leaves both of us who are still confused.

I let her hand off soon. For a while I forget the fact that she can kill me.

"So what should we do?" She asked me."Of course I will start my life again. I will look for a part time job then rent a place."

"So can we live together?"

"What!!!!!" I am shocked.

'How can I live together with this dangerous woman? She killed some man last night.'

"Impossible! "

"Why? If we lived together, we could save money and we could help each other."

"No. I don't think so." I said nervously.

"What do you say?" She looked at me with her sharp gaze. This woman is not ordinary so how come I let her live with me? "Are you afraid?"

"Who is not afraid if-", I stopped because I didn't want to hurt her with my words.

I knew she was not a bad person. Even it is difficult to explain what truly happened that night but I can feel she is not evil. She can kill me if she wants but she doesn't.

"Forget it."

"That's why we need to live together so we can help each other. I will never tell anyone about that night. You don't have evidence if I really did it. No one will trust you also but you-", she stopped and looked at me. " Something pierced your back remained a dagger tattoo on your skin."

What is going on? Why she attacks me and makes me scared suddenly. Is there really a tattoo in my skin?

We leave this hospital without any clue and money. I know we are mad. We are homeless who need money, place and job. Both of us walked on the street without documents. Without purpose.

We keep walking and ignoring the fact that we are both hungry. Bai He Lian looks so pale and exhausted but there is no complaint coming out of her mouth.

"Bai He Lian, are you alright?" I asked. I really don't know what happened to her. I think something bad happened to her before he met me. " I will bring you to hospital."

Bai He Lian looked at me and smiled.

"No need. I don't know what happened with my body indeed but I know that we need place and money right now."

"You need to take a rest."

"Yes but not now. I think rain will come soon."

"We don't have money. We don't have documents either. Is there someone who trusts us?"

I have never been through this situation like this before. Both of us are hungry but we don't have money to buy something to eat. I almost cry but I have to keep strong. I don't want my stepmother and her son to laugh at me. I have to survive, no matter what.

At this street surrounded by crowded and beautiful rays of the lamps, I realized I have nothing left. I just have my life and this body. Rain comes down and makes our body wet.

I startled when Bai He Lian pulls my hand and forces me to follow her into a bus shelter. I have never had someone who cared for me before. This time I think having a companion is not bad.

"What are you thinking? We don't have any clothes. If we get wet what should we do?"

"I understand." I answered her. "This is my first time to have a friend."

In this bus shelter just both of us. Perhaps it's too late and also heavy rain so this place has become so quiet.

Few seconds later there is a girl in black dress approaching me. Her face was covered by black fabric. Her appearance makes me remember an elegant assassin.

Don't say she is really an assassin!

Heavy rain can't touch her. I remember she has an invisible shield around her body. She was standing in front of me with a black bag.

"Who are you? " I asked but she ignored my question and passed me her black bag to my hand. "What is it? "

"Something that you and your friend need." She answered.

"What?!"

I try to read her expression but can't because the black fabric covers almost her face except her eyes.

I choose to open that bag then startled because I see a lot of money.

"How I paid this money?"

She smiled again.

"You have been paid." She answered.

"What do you mean?!"

"Someday you will understand."

Why is she so mysterious?

"Tell me now!" I insisted.

Now she is laughing.

"Don't you need it all? Why do you need to know the reason now? You can use the money to start over."

"I don't want to owe someone else."

"Then, you don't need to worry. I just give what you deserve."

"Hey, why do you always make me confused? Can you just tell me directly?!"

"I don't want to tell you."

Then she disappears. At the same time, I know that I come back to the crowded bus shelter because of the heavy rain. A lot of people gather here.

"Fei Yang, what's going on with you?" Bai He Lian asked me. From her expression, it seems she knew what just happened a while ago.

"Bai He Lian, I really don't know."

I don't have any idea. I lived in the modern era. How can something like this happen? She doesn't want to kill me and gives me money to survive. I don't know her. She is the same person that I met before.

We decided to walk and rent a room for one night. To be honest, I never bring a lot of sums of money in my hand. I tried to calm myself down and keep walking until we stopped in front of a room.

The room is so simple. Enough for me and Bai He Lian to take a rest tonight. Nothing special in this room because we rent the cheapest room.

I put the bag on the bed. I was shocked when Bai He Lian put her grips on my neck. Does she want the money? I am so scared because his grip makes it difficult to take a breath.

"Tell me! Who are you! Do you want to kill me!"

"I am who supposed to say that word! You can kill that man! You must know that I am not a murderer! "

Bai He Lian looks shocked with my words.
