Chapter 1: Warrior of Hope

Dragons, defenders of nature and humanity, once ago they used to exist everywhere, blessing kingdoms, and warding off demons. However, after thousands of years, the dragons started to get suddenly ill due to a mysterious curse, it did not take too long for the 7 last sacred dragons to perish, due to the dragons concern about the world's safety, they asked the each continent to bring their most skilled trustworthy blacksmiths and wizards, the sole purpose of that is for their bodies to not go to waste, the blacksmiths would get 1 heavenly ore per each, the task was simple: "The wizards shall take our scales and teeth then enchant them in order for them to be melted with the ores to create the heavenly weapons, and don't you dare think about betraying your people and handing those weapons to the demons, our wills will be carved inside them, and only the chosen, warriors with pure hearts will be capable of making use of their true powers."

"What if demons attacked before the warriors appeared?" Asked one of the people.

"You shall fend them off, when the right time comes everything shall be settled, and as we perish, the demon god-king shall perish as well." Responded the oldest dragon.

The humans agreed to the dragons final wish, years passed as the last dragons died one by one, as wished, each dragon became the power source of a heavenly weapon, with each weapon taking forms that represent the dragons personalities, each of them was protected by a king and his guards, preparing for the inevitable, as the dragon wards are going to wear off and the demons will start assaulting humans again, some kingdoms even started drafting new soldiers in order to prepare.

The more time passed, the more the wars were fought, lives were lost, and some people were left with nothing but grief and sorrow.

One day an eastern man appeared in front of Marmodia's castle gates, he was a samurai with formidable skills and a resolute mind, upon getting inside he noticed the long line of people coming from all around the globe to test if they're chosen by the heavenly weapon, time went on and on as Date got closer and closer to finding out his fate, but suddenly screaming began being heard as a dark aura showed up. A demon was attempting to steal Terraviridi, as soon as the demon got his hands on the blade, it revealed his true form, the demon was ready to fight anyone who tries to stop him, but before even noticing, Date cut through the demon with an inhuman speed, as the demon began melting into the ground, he swore to Date that he would comeback for him, as causing harm to demons with normal weapons cause them to get only injured, only the heavenly weapons can make deal a fatal blow to them. Date sheathed his katana as he walked up to Terraviridi, unsure of what is going to happen next, he lifted the ultimate katana, an earthy brown aura gently engulfed him, as the town crier rejoiced, letting everyone know: "After all this wait, a warrior has finally appeared! Hope is not lost! Hope is not lost!"

Everyone looked shocked, as some began crying tears of happiness, while others began yelling in joy. Date knew his fate had been sealed by that moment, he knew he would serve all his entire life as a warrior of hope who fights the demon armies to protect everyone even if it means he would die, but that would rather be harder to achieve, since the weapon would boost not only his physical strength, but it also enhanced his stamina, and the earth's dragon element gave Date a skin of steel, such amazing trait can only be given to those who wield Saxum Ululare's power.

It wasn't long before the rumors spread across all the kingdoms about Date Minamoto, Marmodia's new guardian, the demon god-king stared at him through a magical mirror as his skin was boiling with anger, not only one of the warriors was found, but now his genocide process will be slowed down which would lead to the possibility of another warrior getting one of the dragons power instead of being brutally killed by demons.

"You may have extended your lifetime, but mark my words, I shall take you down the moment you let down your guard, Date Minamoto." Said Daemon Diabolus.

Thus began a new era of hope.
