With the trio, before they arrive at Belfort;

"I regret my life choices. How will we defeat a thing that is like a hundred feet bigger than us." Vivian has been complaining for the past hours.

They were brain storming all this time for a plan. They asked Tim for more information on the karken. Eventually Vivian fall asleep on the way.

They arrive at Belfort when the sun went down. They got down from the carriage. They were wearing their masks.

A hotel staff came to assist them. He look at Zeckery weirdly and asked "Is she ok?"

Zeckery was carrying Vivian. "She's fine. I just didn't want her to probably ran into a pole because she tend to do that when she is sleepy."

The hotel staff laugh awkwardly and just nodded. Vivian and Crystal share a room while Zeckery stay alone.

They went into the hotel and wash up and change clothes. Then they went to eat dinner at a restaurant.

While they were eating Crystal saw Louise's golden hair and chocked on her food. "Are you ok?" Zeckery asked.

Crystal drink some water and look back to saw nothing. She shake her head and said "I think I'm really tired that I started to see delusions.

I thought I just saw that royal scumbag." Zeckery and Vivian look around and saw nothing. "Maybe your just seeing things."

Vivian said as Crystal nodded and said "Yeah maybe." "You seem tired shall we go back and rest after this."

Zeckery asked. Crystal shake her head and said "Vi has been looking forward to this festival." "I'm fine with not going."

Vivian interrupt her. "Beside this could be a change of relaxation." Crystal said. Then Zeckery said "Your right. If you say so.

Then let's go after we finish with our dinner." After they finish their dinner they went to the festival.

They bought goods, charms, souvenirs and others. They had a lot of fun. That is until Crystal saw Louise and his friends.

He eyes went widen as she pull the other two toward an ally. "What the hell." Zeckery said. "I was right. I wasn't seeing things.

The royal scumbag is actually here." Crystal said also she pointed toward the group.

Zeckery and Vivian look at the group and Vivian said "Shall we go home now then." Crystal just nodded while crying anime tears.

"Is he here to kill me now." "Why would he tried to kill you." Zeckery asked confused. "Nothing. You don't understand my pain."

Crystal said as Zeckery and Vivian looked each other and just sigh. Then they went back to the hotel and went to bed.

The next morning they wake up and wash up and change clothes. then they went to eat breakfast in a restaurant near the river.

They rented a VIP private room. While they were still eating the communication device started to ring.

Zeckery put it on the middle of the table and open it. He also used magic and seal the whole room to make it sound proof.

The communication device project a hologram of Tim. "Master good morning." Vivian said as Tim nodded.

"Well kids I got good news and bad news. What would you like to hear first." Tim asked as Crystal said "Good news?"

Tim nodded and said "We found out some information about the red eyed kraken. the red eyed kraken has many minions which it control like a puppet master.

It live in the deepest part of the ocean. Sea creatures tend to avoid the karken. So you can find it very easily.

It has the power to release poison and toxic chemicals into the water. It can also turn things into stone. It's very protective over it's nest.

It's weakness is the spot between the two eyes. Careful because it has very sharp senses and eyes.

Don't worry Timmy will be assisting you three in two days with the information of the karken. Also don't forget no one can know about this mission alright "

"Thank you master." Zeckery said while lowering his head a little. "And the bad news is?" Vivian asked.

"Well the bad news is You guys have to hurry up. You only have one week until the full moon and once you have to attend the meeting with the other council mages before you can rest.

The meeting date is set to be 8 days from today." Vivian eyes twitch. "You know what Vi I'm considering to retire too."

Crystal said as Tim just laugh. "You know that you can't you dearest disciples. Anyways have a good trip"

Then the communication device got turned off. "And here you two are thinking of having are vacation."

Zeckery said while laughing. Vivian and Crystal glare at him. After they ate breakfast they went to a cafe because Vivian keep throwing a tantrum that she need sweet.

They went inside the cafe and bought some sweets. Vivian was about to order more sweets when Zeckery stop her. "Vi I think that's enough."

"But but I want the chocolate one now." Vivian look at him with puppy eyes. Zeckery sigh and said "You have too many sweet for, you can eat later."

"He's right." Crystal said. Then they heard someone call them. "The golden trio?"

They turn around to saw Louise and his friends. Louise and the others can't see their faces because they still have their masks on.

Crystal immediately chocked on air. Zeckery patted her back as she calm down.

"Greetings your highness the crown prince of Alfear and his friends." Crystal and Zeckery said in union as they bow.

Then they didn't heard Vivian voice so they turn around to see Vivian buying more sweets. Zeckery immediately went to pull Vivian ear.

"Ow ow ow Ow ow ow." Vivian yells as she hold Zeckery's hand. "What did I say about eating more sweets."

"But I didn't I was just going to keep it for later." Vivian said pitifully as she pouted. Zeckery sigh as he let go of Vivian ear.

Crystal sigh and said "What will you do if you have cavity later." Crystal scold Vivian.

Right now they look like a married couple scolding their child who misbehave.

Mark burst out laughing and said "You two look like a married couple scolding their child."

Crystal and Zeckery look at Mark and then at each other and turn the other way. "I rather died then marry this pain in the ass."

"Excuse me but someone as nobel as me would never marry someone like him."

They both said at the same time. "I-" Everyone else was speechless while Mark was still laughing.

"Anyways where are the three of you headed to miss." "Well we are headed to coral beach." Zeckery answer.

"I see what a coincidence we're heading there too. Are you guys out on a vacation." Delia asked excitedly.

"Sadly no. We are here for a mission." Vivian said while sulking. "Oh well since we're going in the same direction shall we go together."

Delia asked again. The trio just look at each other and then Zeckery said "I don't-" Before he even finish his sentence Crystal interrupt him.

"We would be delighted." The other two turn to her in shocked. "Then we should get going." Leo said as they head out.

They each went to sit in their own carriage. Once they got onto their carriage Vivian asked "Stalle are you sure."

Crystal didn't say anything more and just nodded. After five hours they finally arrived at the beach.

They part ways with Louise and the others and went into the hotel. Vivian suddenly feel a wave of huge energy from the sea.

She turn around to look at where the energy was from. "Is something wrong my lady" The hotel staff look at her confusingly.

Vivian turn back and smile. "No I was just admiring the beautiful viwe. It's really pretty and refreshing. I can't wait to go for a swim."

Then she went into the hotel. Little did she know two other people also felt the sudden energy wave.

After resting a bit they decided to have tea on the balcony and watch the view.

They decide to just explore the nearby areas and rest for today. Vivian, Crystal and Zeckery decided to take a walk in the sand.

"Did you guys feel that huge energy wave just now when we arrived." Crystal said as the other two nodded in response.

"It's strange. I feel so weird as if I suddenly become overpowered or something. It's kinda uncomfortable."

Vivian said as she look at her hands. "I'm sure there is something in the water." Zeckery said as he look at the sea.

"The question is what's in there?" Crystal also look into the distance. "Well we're about to find out tonight aren't we.

Let's just hope the water is warm at night." Vivian said as she chuckles. The other also chuckles with her.
