Don't leave me.

"Hello? Is anybody here? Jayce?" A figure of Ximena could be seen walking around. Just like what happened to Jayce, the space around her is void of life. Although the surroundings are dark, she could see the space in which she is walking on.

Then someone seems to have appeared. A little more than 10 feet away from her, there stood a figure. Ximena suddenly feels chill as if staring at the figure like a ghost. Who wouldn't? A random figure suddenly appears in this weird space, if it's not a ghost then what is it?

"Hello? W..Who are you?" She stuttered, staring at the figure.

The person in question didn't respond, they kept silent and quietly gazed at her. The figure looks like a humanoid being, with 2 arms and 2 legs, but his face is shrouded in darkness. No matter how hard Ximena looks, she can't seem to peer through the dark veil. Although scared, Ximena approaches the figure; why? Because she felt a sense of familiarity, she doesn't know why, but her instincts told her that she would regret it if she didn't go toward the person.

Then something strange seems to happen, no matter how hard or fast she is approaching the person. Their distance remains the same, as if space is playing a trick on her. She just kept running, then crystal tears started to fall from her face. It hurts, it's not physical pain but emotional. She wants to run to the figure and embrace him, console him. Then it clicked her.

"Jayce? Jayce? You are Jayce, aren't you? Jayce, it's me." The figure didn't speak, then it turned around, walking away into the darkness.

"No, No, No, Jayce comes back, it's me, I'm your mother. Come back!" She tripped, although, in pain, her hand outstretched as she crawls toward the disappearing figure.

"Please, come back, Jayce, don't leave me alone, please. Jayce. Jayce. Jayce!" Then an intense flash-bang disrupted her vision.

Inside a hospital ward.

"Jayce. Jayce. JAYCE!" Ximena jolted awake, with tears streaming down her face. She looks around, trying to find her son.

"Mrs. Talis, are you okay?" On the side, the Kiramman family stood next to her. Caitlyn approaches the agitated woman and asks her in concerns. They were sitting nearby, then suddenly heard a sobbing Ximena calling out to her son's name.

"Where am I? Where is Jayce? How is he?" Flurries of questions streamed out of her mouth; she seems to have forgotten what happened after she passed out. The pitiful Caitlyn doesn't know how to respond in this situation. Luckily, her dad took over the podium.

"Mrs. Talis, please take a deep breathe, first. You're in the hospital, due to the invasion of the void beasts, you have been injured and got treated, do you recall?" Tobias, as a professional merchant person; knows how to adapt to situations and react accordingly. When a person is agitated, it is best to calm them down for a better conversation.

*Sigh* Ximena knows that being emotionally unstable won't help her in this situation. She took a deep breath and retained her demeanors, as a noble, she was taught to never lose composure in front of other people.

"Are you fine now, Mrs. Talis?" Tobias asked.

"Yes, what happened to me? And Jayce?"

"Well, due to the heroic and selfless action of your son, my family and I have been saved from the maw of those beasts, for that, I want to first thank you." Tobias, along with his family made an etiquette bow. They were truly grateful for Jayce's compassionate character, otherwise, they would not have been here today.

"As for your questions, after reinforcements came to repel the beast, we were taken into the hospital for further treatment. Your son, especially, was critically wounded." Tobias still shuddered when he remembered how Jayce's body was skewered through the ground; the scene was gruesome for him.

"Jayce? What happened to him? Is he fine?" When it comes to her son, Ximena can't help but panic once more. Her son is her reverse scale, if anything happened to him, she would have lost her mind.

Tobias bit his lips, wondering if he should tell her the truth. He was enraged when he heard about the news of Jayce's imprisonment. Those greedy bastards of pigs, for the sake of power and greed, they would imprison an innocent person. Although he's a famous merchant that successfully rose to the rank of nobles, he's still powerless against the council.

"Is there something wrong with him? What happened? TELL ME!" Ximena drags her upper body, held the struggling Tobias, and shake him back and forth.

"Calm down Mrs. Talis, your son is fine, he has already made a full recovery, but...." Tobias clenches his fist.

"But what? Tell me!"

'Sigh' with a sigh, he then proceeded to tell her what he knew.

"Due to the strange abilities of your son, the council arrested him and deemed him as a dangerous person, and he will stay there indefinitely, until further notice." Tobias carefully explains the details.

"Wha-"

*Thump*

She fell unconscious once more, her brain shut off due to emotional overload. 🙁

"MRS. TALIS! MRS.TALIS! GO CALL THE DOCTOR, HURRY!" Cassandra, seeing this, dialed the phone to the doctor.

*BAM*

Suddenly, the door swung open as the figure of Poppy and Soraka entered the room. [AN: DeJa'Vu? 😮]

"Sigh, everyone, would you mind stepping out of the room for a while." The melody voice of Soraka rang in their ears.

"You guys are...!"

"Thank you for saving us, heroes!" The Kiramman family made another etiquette pose

"Hero? Don't call me a hero. I'm just a Yordle with a hammer." Poppy said, she seems to dislike the term "Hero." [AN: SHE DID THE THING!!! 😲]

"Don't mention It, it is our responsibility, and for that, I want to make an apology for arriving late, risking the lives of many people." Due to her kind nature, she blamed herself for arriving late to the scene, so she made a bow gesture to them.

"No, not at all! Then we will leave the room." Tobias doesn't dare to accept her bow, so he hurriedly drags his family outside.

"Sigh, you didn't have to bow you know" Poppy berated her, they have no reason at all to lower head and apologize.

Soraka simply smiled but didn't respond. She then walked toward the unconscious Ximena, used her ability to wake her up.

"Astral Infusion." Green magic particles flew out of her staff and went toward Ximena's body.

Ximena's eyelashes fluttered, struggling to open her eyes. She then sat up abruptly, staring at two people.

"Why are you here?" She seems to recall the two people but doesn't remember the part where Soraka healed her, so seeing the figure, she has her guard up.

"The thing is..." Soraka then told her something. Ximena made many different faces during the process, sad, angry, confused, contemplation, satisfy, then happy. As for what they were talking about, I guess we will never know!
