The Royal Arrangement

*** This story will be temporarily on hold. I am sorry to my readers if I can't continue to write this at the moment. I plan to finish The Royal Contract first this month before continuing to write this one. Again, I am asking for your understanding. Due to financial reasons, I need to write a new book for now. A Contract to Marry the Cold-hearted CEO I hope you will give it a try. Thanks again for reading my stories. *** Little girls dreamed of sparkling tiaras and fancy gowns. Little boys wanted to drive fast cars. Well, could she have both? And the father she had never met as a bonus. Luisa was the spunky, street-smart girl next door that wanted her life to have meaning. She lived her life like she was not exceptional except when she was behind the wheel, racing for the finish line. But was that all she wanted? One day, a man dressed up in an impeccable suit came up to her and told her she was a princess, heir to the throne. Insane, right? He was a prince and a successful tycoon who almost had everything except one thing. He wanted the crown. But he had no birthright to rule the Kingdom. Until he discovered there was another way for him to become King. However, he had to agree to the conditions and convince his future Queen of his plans. Easy, right? Would an arrangement be the solution to what they both desire? Would Luisa submit to what Liam proposed? Or would they get more than what they bargained for in the end? Note: This story is related to the Royal Contract book. Still, it is a standalone story. There is no need to read the other book to understand it. Chapter 168

They were in the garden at the time, doing her homework. The Count had requested him to be her tutor. It seemed the young Princess was having a hard time with her studies. But it was odd since she did not seem to need assistance.

In time, he concluded that she only used that as an excuse to be close to him. One day, she confessed that she liked him. But he knew that was just puppy love, a teenage crush that would eventually fade away.

"I think that is what doctors used to check on their patients." She said when he stared at the stethoscope in his hands.

He was not expecting she would remember his dream. He believed he had mentioned it before when the Count had asked him about it. She happened to be there.

"Thanks." He said as he looked at her. "But it will still take years before I become a doctor." He pointed out to her, but still, he appreciated the gift.
