63. The Fall of Uzumaki Clan part-1

Bang…

Suddenly, a red figure leaps from the side and crashes into the charging demon.

BOOM…

The demon is sent flying across the forest and crashes into a giant boulder. The dust settles down to reveal a six-tailed Metal B. The entirety of his body is covered with an exoskeleton and currently, there are several cracks in the bones.

Metal B opens his mouth and fires a barrage of tailed beast bombs toward the demon.

BOOM… BOOM… BOOM…

Multiple explosions set off in the distance and almost annihilate the entire forest and the nearby mountain range. The shockwaves from the blast reach all the way to the shinobi group.

"It's over!"

The shinobis heave a sigh of relief as the barrier around Kisuke's body vanishes and his body slowly turns into dust.

Suddenly, before the group could celebrate their victory.

A figure leaps out of the smokescreen and tightly hugs the six-tails Metal B.

BOOOMMM…

The demon detonates itself into a powerful explosion. A giant pillar of scarlet energy covers the area and shoots into the skies.

RUMBLE… RUMBLE…

The shockwaves from the explosion generate tremors across the earth and create a massive crater at the location of the explosion. A few seconds later, the energy from the explosion fades away.

"B-sama!"

The shinobis from Kumogakure hurriedly rush to the location of the explosion. They slide down the crater and notice B's body lying in the center of the crater.

"B-sama!"

The vice commander of Kumogakure hurriedly supports him and the medic-nin aids him in recovery. B has reverted back to his human work as a result of the force of the explosion. There are multiple heavy injuries on his body and his right arm and left leg is blown off by the explosion.

The medic-nin provides some preliminary treatment to B and prevents bleeding in an attempt to stabilize his condition.

"His condition is too serious! I can't treat him here without proper medical equipment." The medic-nin shakes his head.

"Quickly dispatch the lightning platoon to escort Lord Metal B to the nearest Kumogakure camp." The vice-commander issues orders to one of his captains.

"Yes, sir!" The captain of the lightning platoon nods his head and summons a giant elephant with a small cabin on its back.

After their departure, the vice-commander walks towards the commanders of other nations.

"How are the casualties on your side?"

Sigh…

The commander and vice-commander shake their head with heavy hearts.

"Sunagakure lost around 126 jounins and over 300 chunnins. We also lost three captains and a vice commander. Aside from that, around 43 shinobis are grievously injured."

"Kirigakure lost 107 jounins, 289 chunnins, six captains, and our commander. 30 of our shinobis are fatally wounded," the vice-commander replies in a heavy tone.

Out of all nations, their nation suffered the most since most of their captain and commander were Kekkei Genkai users.

"Iwagakure lost 138 jounins, 274 chunnins, and one captain. 27 shinobis are in a life-death situation." The Iwa commander replies while grimacing.

'This will be quite troublesome to report to Lord Tsuchikage.'

"Our Kumogakure lost 90 jounins, 216 chunnins. 60 shinobis are heavily wounded during the battle." One of the captains from Kumogakure reports.

The commanders heave a collective sigh. The initial sneak attack caught them by surprise, and the final attack from Kisuke Uzumaki's summon also dealt a huge blow to their forces. Almost one-sixth of their forces are wiped out during the battle.

"What should we do now?" One of the vice-commanders raises a question.

Another captain grinds his teeth in anger.

"I want the Uzumaki clan to pay the price for the death of my brother." He stares at the corpse of another captain.

"Let's recuperate for the night and will take further action tomorrow." The commander and vice-commander issue orders to their subordinates.

The shinobis quickly divide themselves into four camps and lay down their camps.

Later at night, the commander and vice-commander of the four nations gather in a tent for a meeting.

"I have a proposal for everyone." The vice-commander in charge of Kirigakure glances at the faces of shinobis from other nations.

"What's it?" The shinobis from the three nations turn their attention to them.

"How about we join forces and… and attack the Uzumaki clan?"

Silence…

Utter silence spreads in the camp as they consider the possibility. After a few moments of pondering, the shinobi from Iwagakure shakes his head.

"This is too dangerous! We can't take the risk." He shakes his head.

"I have to consider it!" The vice-commander from Kumogakure doesn't deny him like the Iwa commander.

"What about you?" Everyone turns their attention to the shinobis from the Sunagakure.

The commander of Sunagakure clenches his fists. They are tempted to wipe out the Uzumaki clan to weaken Konoha's forces. Since the Sunagakure suffered a disastrous defeat at the hands of Konohagakure during the First Shinobi War and thus want nothing more than to avenge the humiliation their nation suffered in the previous war.

Seeing the hesitation in the eyes of the Suna commander, a glint flickers across the Kiri vice-commander.

"What if Kiri forces take the lead in the operation and bear the brunt of the Uzumaki clan's counterattack? It will be a huge achievement if we manage to destroy the Uzumaki clan." He proposes.

"WHAT?"

The eyes of the shinobis from the rest of the nation widen in shock.

"This…"

Even the Iwa commander is slightly tempted by the offer.

"Let me hear your strategy before we take any decision." In the end, he gives in to the temptation of war achievement and joins the discussion.

An hour later, the shinobis from the four nations exit the camp. A wide smile appears on the face of the vice-commander from Kiri. They return to their camp and morph into White Zetsu.

------- Flashback----------

A few hours earlier,

On a small hill at some distance from the camps of the four great nations.

The Black Zetsu glances in the direction of their camps.

"We have successfully completed the first step of our goal. It's time for the second step."

KRACK… KRRK…

Multiple white Zetsu clones appear out of the ground and glance in the direction of the Kiri camp.

A few minutes later,

Inside the camps of the various Kiri, the various vice-commanders are resting in their respective camp as they recuperate their injuries. Medic-nins tend to their wounds.

"Damn it!" One of the vice-commanders smashes his fist on the table.

"We were careless and lost our commander. I don't even know how to report this situation to the elders." He grits his teeth in frustration.

"You don't have to!"

A sinister voice echoes in his ear.

Huh…

The vice-commander raises his head and glances in the direction of the medic-nin. The lips of the medic-nin curl up in an enormous smile as his body distorts and morphs into a white figure, much to the horror of the vice-commander.

He attempts to move his body but is unable to do so. He attempts to open his mouth, but no voice comes out of his mouth.

Kuku…

White Zetsu glances at the vice-commander with a smile.

"It's useless. The poison I used to treat your wound is quite potent."

The vice-captain glances at the vial in Zetsu's hands with fear in his eyes.

KRACK.. KRRK…

"Hello!"

Another white Zetsu clone pops out from the ground with a wide grin on his face.

"It was nice to meet you!" The white Zetsu clone has an eerier smile on his face.

His hands reach towards the holster of the vice-commander and he pulls out a kunai from it.

"Sorry, but I need to borrow your body for a bit!"

With a smile, the white Zetsu clone slashes apart the neck of the Kiri vice-commander, thus ending his life in the process.

"Don't make it too much bloody! It will be too difficult to clean it later." The medic white Zetsu remarks.

Hehe…

The White Zetsu smiles at him and the Venus flytrap-like appendages on his chest open up. They swallow and chew the body of the vice-commander as blood leaks out from the flaps around his chest.

Sigh…

The medic white Zetsu shakes his head and cleans the blood. A few minutes later, the body of the new white Zetsu distorts as he slowly morphs into the figure of the Vice-commander.

"How is my new look?" The vice-commander Zetsu makes a pose with his new body.

"Be mindful of your personality!" The medic jutsu warns him and retreats from the camp. A few seconds later, vice-commander Zetsu also exits the camp and summons the captains.

A similar scene happens in the rest of the camp.

"We managed to convince the other nations to act against the Uzumaki clan, but it's not enough!"

The voice of Black Zetsu rings in their ears.

"Then what should we do?" His white half asks him.

"We need another force to weaken the Uzumaki clan." He continues.

"Hmm… could it be that clan?" Zetsu's eyes twinkle.

"Yes, that clan is a sworn enemy of the Uzumaki clan and won't spare any expense to destroy the Uzumaki clan." Black Zetsu nods.

'Hehe… then let's conveniently leak the news to them. They aren't that far from here, and we have the entire night to put our plan into action.'
