"I called the police they said the person has to be missing for a while longer only then is it considered a missing person case" Aarav sighed.

His head hurt after a whole night of not sleeping.

One would think someone had punched him in the gut had they looked at him. He hunched over his phone, hoping she would call soon or Darshan would call and tell them they were fine and just partying or something, but as noon turned up and they were still missing this hope went away too.

The on-foot search was unproductive and all they found was a bright yellow fuzzy hairclip of hers. A confirmation that something had happened but nothing else.

"Don't worry we will find her" Rudra patted his back

"Worry? He must be happy" Nagma's tone dripping with sarcasm," after all she didn't know how to do her job and he did it for her didn't he?" She asked.

" I didn't mean for her to leave!" He exclaimed.
