Legends claimed that the Athenaeum even contained the secret to becoming a god and ascending above the Universal laws. The Ancients were the race that guarded the Athenaeum and the secrets it held. But as the Universe progressed, so did the greed of the civilizations residing within it. The Ancients were schemed and massacred. General Maha was impressed with the vision that Aria had with respect to technology and science.
The main reason he did not like the Marshals was that they were heavily dependent on their powers and underestimated science.
In their words, as long as the Cadets were able to master the Wheel of Chakra, they would be able to fight side by side along with them.
But reality had always proved it wrong, even beings as powerful as the Generals were powerless against the energy beams from the enemy's Motherships.
Aria seemed to be so engrossed in his explanations that he didn't notice that Maha did not pay more heed to what he was saying.
"Okay stop, Cadet." Maha instructed as he stood up from his chair, only stopping when he reached the door.
"Follow me!" He ordered without bothering to look at Aria.
Aria could only sigh and follow the General. The duo walked along the corridor without any word of conversation between them.
