Lumas finished gathering his gear into his 'Item Box', he looked towards a sword mounted upon the wall. It's dark silver blade gleamed with malicious intent, the wave-like pattern stretching across the blade seemed to be alive as they rippled throughout the blade's length. Shadowsteel, recently this sword had gone through many changes, first being smelted down in a blaze of over saturated mana alongside the nameless blade, mixed with Magic Stones… yes he finally found a purpose for all the Magic Stones he'd been hoarding over the years, the mana stored within is surprisingly pure and vibrant and without a property this makes it the best resource for increasing metal purity. Even Lumas who had been revered as the Mortal God Of Forging as of recently due to his wares not only becoming popular but also a show of status, although Lumas refused to have any weapon of his become a 'Collection Piece' he couldn't oversee every sale.
Grabbing 'Shadowsteel' from its plaque he felt the blade tremble in joy as a slight killing intent leaked from the sword, Lumas let out a wry smile at the swords' antics he never expected to forge such a weapon… no this was no longer just a 'weapon'… It was part of the family.
Sliding 'Shadowsteel' into its scabbard, he turned around to see Ais struggling with the buckles of her new armor, Swiftly moving to her side to help her he methodically fastened the buckles. His eyes softened slightly as he thought about the armor, this was a part of Susan made completely from the feathers that had fallen from her wings which he managed to save alongside the entirety of her 'Item Box'. Surprisingly with the amount of feathers that had shed the wings still held an enormous amount as if it were endless.

Ais turned around placing a hand on Lumas' chest, Lumas grasped her hand as he stared into her eyes. Just as their lips were about to touch the door flung open revealing a young girl with dark silver hair, her complexion was fair and dotted with freckles behind her was a butler who looked as if he seen the end of his days his foot still raised, the footprint in the door made it abundantly clear what happened. Ais giggled as Lumas sighed "Aria… can you please go one day without causing problems"
"Buuuut Paaapaaa," stretching out her hands towards Lumas Aria pouted as if she had done nothing wrong, the butler standing behind her was sweating but Sebas had extensively informed them the princess shouldn't be told no, no matter the case. Ais smiled and waved towards the Butler causing him to calm down but Aria's next words nearly caused his knees to buckle "This Uncle's weird Papa," she sneer, this child no older the. 3 sneered "He follows me all day not saying a word, He won't even play with me!"
The butler wanted to say that he spent the last 3 hours chanceing this demo- Princess around the castle grounds stopping any harm that may fall upon her, Lumas picked Aria up pinching her nose as she spoke "Aria, you must be nicer to the help. You don't understand how much they do in the shadows for you"
Aria tilted her head confusion evident on her face "Why are they in the shadows papa? Are they vampires?"
Ais choked back a laugh as Lumas adopted a wry smile "It seems grandpa Sebas' stories have influenced you too much-" Aria hurriedly interjected "No papa, Grandpa's stories are the best! You can't take them away"
Lumas' expression changed to a fake hurt one as he sullenly spoke "I thought my stories were your favorite," Aria panicked as she hugged Lumas' neck nearly crying out "They are papa! They are!"
A simple soft smile rose on Lumas face as he planted a kiss on Aria's head placing her back on the ground as he spoke "Then I'll tell you a story when I return,"
Aria fist pumped much to Ais' pleasure but Aria froze as Lumas continued ", But only if you behave… alright?"
Aria gave a stiff nod "Okay… papa," Lumas rustled her hair before turning towards the butler "You can tell her 'no' you know, Can't have my little Princess becoming spoiled"
The butler wanted to say something but Aria beat him to it "NO! Papa you must spoil me!" Lumas gave a chuckle as he replied "Ofcourse, because your my little Princess" giving her cheeks one last pinch Ais and Lumas reluctantly left under the 'sad' gaze of Aria, however once they left her expression changed as a series of giggles left her mouth, these giggles may seem innocent but they haunted the nightmares of every butler and maid within the castle.
Aria ran back to her room throwing open the door revealed ruby like walls, this was yet another project of Lumas' the walls were made completely from Magic Stones originating from the Dark Floors; Floor 65-70, of one looked closet countless runes stretched across the walls, if one blessed by mana would enter this room they would be blinded by the density of mana present in the room, the attributeless mana seemed trapped within the room and the moment Aria entered in flowed towards her slowly seeping into her pores.
Reaching under her bed she pulled out a ornate box, as she opened the box a small snake crawled out, nervously checking the room to make sure no one was present she reached into her pocket revealing a mouse struggling to free itself from her grasp, she softly spoke "Its okay Jūr, Papa's gone we can play as much as you want" hugging the dark grey snake close she took one last look around the room before slipping it into her pocket carefully leaving the room and disappearing into the maze like hallways of the castle
