It was a lot that for Fire wings could take in Because he didn't even know his name. "My name is Derek.". "THE HECK". He was surprised that he knew what he was thinking."Chili". "CHILI?". He wasn't shocked but surprised he thought that there is another human with powers in LA. He took Derek to his training center when he saw that it was a real mess."I thought superhero were meant to be clean". When he said clean things stared to be floating it was really starting to clean it self up and fixes it self. Derek thought that was another power he had but it was actually Colins that pushed a self clean button. Next he tried to train him to use his powers and also to see if he had any-other powers first he put him in a boiling hot room to see if he had any flames resistance but instead he was roasting like barbecue. Later he pushed him into a pool and tried to see if he could breath underwater. But instead he fainted. Then he locked him in a freezing cold room but he wasn't feeling the cold but he was actually comfortable. He figured out his powers so he thought not only he could stay warm in the could he could breath ice out or could control ice with his hands. So he made him practiced for weeks. he only learnt how to control and bring ice out of his hands. When he finnaly figured ot out The Stoneman had attacked the city hall. Fire wings didn't know about it so he just kept training Derek. He asked Marc1l to make Derek a suit. When the Stoneman realized that Fire wings isn't not gonna arrived to the scene he left but people were badly injured. When Fire wings saw it on the news people started to hate him.
