-Eric: Mayor of Greenwood, his daughter used to be engaged to Gareth, he holds a grudge against Gareth's family for breaking off the engagement.
-Genna: daughter of Eric, wife of Tobias. After the dead of her husband she now owns the tavern. Is become very close with Gareth.
-Tobias: Owner of the tavern / inn, Balor's uncle on his mother's side. He pampered his nephew and gave his a lute. Killed when he tried to help Marian.
-Jenny: Daughter of Tobias and Genna, she bullied Gawain because she liked him but he ignored her.
-William: blacksmith and former mentor of MC. Father of Balor, has some problems with his son`s chosen career.
-Balor: Bard, ten years older than Gawain, travels the Reach but returns home often. Willem's rebellious son, his father wanted him to be a blacksmith but Balor wanted to explore the world and not spend his life hammering iron. Good friend with MC.
-Umbert: Septon, fifty-something years old. He believes in the Seven and is devout, kind for the most part, but despises bastards, the ironborn, the first men, and the rhoynar.
-Bofur: Carpenter, 40 years old, an airheaded but skilled. Galahad`s teacher.
-Adam: peasant, was present when Aerys arrived at Gawain's house. Was the one to mention the path that passes though Gawain`s house.
-Mullin: peasant, was present when Aerys arrived at Gawain's house.
