Gia's Explanation

After their conversation, Kylie stood up and made her way back to the study. The moment Kylie left, Olivia's expression transformed from a cheerful and affectionate little girl to a distant and detached one. Her previously curved lips straightened into a tight, thin line, almost smirking as she pondered Kylie's words.

Olivia quickly got up and hurried to her room. As soon as she entered, she angrily slammed the door shut.

Gia, upon learning that Olivia had returned to her room after their discussion, went to Olivia's door. She cautiously opened it and stepped inside, only to find Olivia sitting on the couch with a furious expression on her face.

Gia cautiously approached Olivia and observed her closely. Noticing the anger on Olivia's face, Gia gathered her courage and inquired, "What's wrong, Young Miss?"

Olivia remained silent, so Gia took a step forward and called out once more, "Young Miss." After a while, Olivia snapped out of her daze and glared at Gia with frustration.

Feeling a wave of fear, Gia instinctively took a couple of steps back. However, as Olivia recognized her, she regained her composure and asked, "What is it, Gia?"

Respectfully, Gia glanced at Olivia and asked, "Are you okay, Young Miss?" Suddenly, Olivia remembered something and responded angrily, "How can I be okay, Gia?"

Gia was startled by the sudden outburst and instinctively took a few steps back, fear evident in her eyes. Despite her trembling voice, she managed to ask, "What's wrong, Young Miss?"

Olivia glanced at Gia and recounted, "You know what my mom said when I inquired about when they would send that girl to school?" Gia composed herself and moved closer, her expression filled with concern as she questioned, "What did Madam say, Young Miss?"

With a snort, Olivia smirked and revealed, "My mom mentioned that the girl had already finished her studies and didn't need to attend school or college. She'll just be staying at home to take care of her work."

Gia was taken aback when she heard the news, just like Olivia. Gia glanced at Olivia, her confusion evident, and asked, "Wait, are you telling me that girl finished her studies and has a job now?"

Olivia chuckled sarcastically and replied, "Hah, I had the same reaction when Mom told me. Can we change the truth just by doubting it?"

Shaking her head, Gia responded, "I still find it hard to believe, Young Miss. It's just not realistic for someone her age to have completed their studies. I bet Sir and Madam must have bought her some fake certificates to make it seem like she finished.".

Olivia glanced at Gia and replied, "I trust your opinions on most things, but when it comes to academics and important matters, my parents would never stoop to that level. They hold those things in high regard."

Gia gave Olivia a worried look and responded, "Oh dear, you're still so naive. You can't easily judge everyone like that. Do you really believe that in order to establish such a massive business, Sir hasn't done anything questionable? And this situation involves that girl, who seems to be spoiled by both Sir, Madam, and even your brothers. I believe the entire family would go to great lengths for her, let alone forging a certificate."

Gia glanced at the bewildered Olivia and added, "Just imagine, Young Miss. That girl spent her entire life hiding in the shadows abroad to ensure her safety. If her well-being is at stake, do you really think that anyone would risk exposing her by allowing others to scrutinize her education or evaluate her for job opportunities? Completing her studies at such a young age would only draw attention to her, wouldn't it?"

Olivia was still perplexed, but she grasped the main idea and turned to Gia, questioning, "But what about finding a job? Employers usually thoroughly verify a person's educational background and credentials. It won't be a walk in the park for her to secure employment, will it?"

Gia glanced at Olivia and remarked, "Young Miss, why does the Adam family's daughter need to work? She's loaded with cash already. Plus, finding a job wouldn't be hard for her. Her parents could easily hook her up with a high-paying position in one of their companies."

Olivia pondered over Gia's words and replied, "You know what, you're right. If someone finishes their studies at a young age, they'll gain fame. And it's true, she can pretty much choose any job she wants thanks to Mom and Dad."

Olivia took a seat on the couch, remaining calm as she spoke with a chuckle, "Reflecting on it now, I can't help but feel foolish for not considering this much earlier. I needlessly worried and became anxious. Thank you, Gia, for explaining it to me. Otherwise, I would still be confused and stressed about what to do next."

Gia glanced at Olivia, a smile gracing her face as she replied, "It's my duty, Young Miss. I'll always be here to support you." Olivia returned Gia's smile, feeling a sense of happiness welling up inside her.

After returning home, Mr. Warrens immediately headed to his son's room and woke him up. His son had been sleeping soundly due to the exhaustion from yesterday's incident.

Without giving his son a chance, Mr. Warrens forcefully splashed water on his face from the nightstand table. Mrs. Warrens was unable to react in time and couldn't prevent what had just occurred.

Caleb was taken aback by the sudden splash of water. His body jerked in response to the unexpected sensation. He quickly sat up and wiped his face, his anger evident as he shouted, "Who the heck did this? Don't you have any respect..." His voice trailed off when he saw his father standing in front of him, seething with anger and holding an empty jug.

Caleb quietly slipped off the bed upon seeing his father's furious, bloodshot eyes. Mrs. Warren hurriedly rushed to her son's side, her voice filled with anger as she demanded, "What do you think you're doing? Why did you splash water on our son? Can't you resolve things peacefully?"

In a fit of rage, Mr. Warren snapped back, "You want me to calmly talk it out with him? It's because of him that I was humiliated by Mr. Andrew's two sons. And you expect me to be gentle with him? He's the one who caused all of this! Because of him, they disrespected me and insulted me for not raising our son properly while giving advice on parenting."

"Because of their actions, you didn't even hesitate before attacking our son? Can't you think before you act? And why are you so concerned about advising others on raising their children? Shouldn't we be focusing on what's truly important?" Mrs. Warren angrily questioned, her gaze fixed on Mr. Warren cradling their son in her arms.
