Family's Concern

All the family members hurried to the hospital as soon as they found out Zara had opened her eyes. The family members were relieved to see Zara awake and enquired about the doctor's report from Kylie and Andrew.

Zara felt helpless as she saw everyone hurrying to visit her. With a smile on her face, she lifted her head and added, "I don't think that I'm seriously ill. So why does everyone appear so anxious?"

"What do you mean by that, Lia? What seriously ill? You're such a healthy child. Don't jinx yourself." Anne hurriedly said after hearing Zara's words.

"So what if we come and see our child? We have the obligation to see you whenever we want. If we want to visit you, even your parents' consent is not needed. Kylie, am I correct?" Daisy spoke as she turned to face Kylie.

With a giggle, Kylie said, "Of course. Why would any of you need my approval? Will you all quit seeing her even if I don't give you permission?"

"Obviously not. Just because you said so, why would we stop seeing her? No one can stop us from seeing her since she is our doll. Right, Honey?" Daisy stated while glancing at Beck. With a solemn gaze, Beck nodded and said, "Of course."

John approached Zara, giving her a gentle stroke as he asked her dotingly, "Are you sure, you're alright, dear? Do you feel uneasy somewhere?" "No, Uncle. I'm alright. Can't you see it?"

"It's good as long as you're fine." John remarked with a smile on his lips.

The boys were left inside as the family exited the wardroom and sat in the ward's living room so Zara could take a nap.

The elders looked at Andrew and Kylie and asked calmly, "Andrew, Kylie, do you both plan to talk to Lia about the decision we have made?"

"Yes, Dad. We both planned to talk to her once she recovers." Andrew said with a calm expression.

"I don't believe we can wait for very long, though. A week is the most we can take." Andrew and Kylie were taken aback by Beck's abrupt statement. With a dejected expression on their faces, the others understood what he meant.

Andrew understood his meaning and his face turned cold with a murderous gaze and asked, "What action did they take now?" Kylie put pressure on her hand, gripping Andrew's hands in anger and fear. To soothe her, Andrew patted her hand.

"We have learned that they hired a few criminals to detonate a bomb inside the hospital. They don't appear to think twice about murdering several individuals in order to assault Lia." Beck described the circumstances in a composed manner.

"Do they not fear the law? How would they explain this to the government and what is their plan for achieving this?" With concern on her face, Sofie inquired.

"In light of the bombing, they are attempting to portray this as a terrorist act. Consequently, the government will start to doubt the terrorists. So they'll easily escape from this matter." said Daisy.

"How absurd! What makes them want to harm my Lia? What did she do that caused such a severe attack from them?" Kylie roared in rage, but Andrew continued to hold her to comfort her.

"Why is someone attempting to harm Lia when she won't leave the house easily and, even if she did, she would travel to our friend's house with her brothers or bodyguards? If they are our enemies, shouldn't they be attacking us adults? Why are they targeting the child?" With a confused expression, Sofie said.

"Before we find out, we need to solve the matter with Lia. Here, she won't be safe. If we get her to Laurania as soon as possible, I believe it will be safe." Daisy spoke calmly.

"I'll see the doctor to learn more about Lia's health so that we can plan accordingly, and I'll also let Uncle Michael know about the sudden change. Come with me to see the doctor, Sofie." Daisy said, standing up. "Okay." Daisy and Sofie departed the ward to see the Doctor leaving others lost in thoughts.

One of the elders in Laurania is Uncle Michael. Along with his two pals and their spouses, he remains there. Despite being friends, they are more like family. They don't have any children and dislike kids, although Zara is an exception.

Because the last time they saw Zara, they liked her so much and intended to take her to Laurania, but the elders of the family anticipated that and discovered their scheme. Thus, the elders of Laurania were ecstatic to learn that Zara would be visiting and staying with them.

After talking for a while, Max turned to Andrew and said, "Andrew, try to talk to Lia when she wakes up. We should send Lia overseas as soon as possible because we don't have much time left."

After giving it some thought, Andrew responded, "Ok, Dad." "However, Dad. How can Lia, who is still a little child, handle such a blow?" With a troubled expression, Kylie asked Max.

"There's no other way, dear," Mathew murmured. "Furthermore, we are aware of Lia's maturity and lack of sensitivity, so we know she can relate to us. Be at ease."

Daisy and Sofie returned to the ward after speaking with the doctor. Kylie questioned them, "What did the Doctor say?" as she raised her gaze.

"Lia's doctor advised her to rest for at least a month, but in the event of an emergency, she may go with medical personnel and full equipment to ensure her safety." Daisy explained to them.

"That implies that the doctors and equipment must be prepared." Alex continued, adding, "In order to ensure that Lia has no issues while traveling, we also need to prepare the aircraft as per the doctor's advice."

"Why don't we ask Uncle Charles's help?" stated Kylie. "I was thinking of calling Uncle Charles if Lia didn't wake up, so why don't we ask him for help? He also has his own team of doctors and nurses under him." Kylie continued.

"I'll talk to Uncle Charles." Andrew remarked as he rose from the couch and made his way to the balcony to speak.

Andrew entered and sat down next to Kylie after a brief amount of time. "Uncle stated he and his team will get here by tomorrow. We only need to get ready for her departure."

"That's good. Try to speak with Lia, and Kylie, and find out what she thinks." Gazing at Kylie, Anne spoke. "Don't scare the child by telling what is not necessary." Together with Anne, Jenny added.

"Mom, I think it's best if we tell her the truth. Then she'll be cautious from her side." Daisy said as she turned to face her mother-in-law.

As Jenny opened her lips, Beck said, "Yes, Mom. We are aware that you worry that your baby won't be able to understand and will be frightened. Don't forget, though, that despite being our baby, she is capable of understanding things that adults can." "Don't underestimate her."

Jenny heard Beck's comments and shut her mouth, thinking, "That's also true. Despite being our baby, she is nonetheless a young child with maturity."
