Ethan's Doubt

 Kylie glanced at Hendry and asked, "What's going on? Spill the beans." Hendry hesitated for a moment but eventually spilled all the details to both Kylie and Andrew. Kylie was taken aback by the shocking news about her daughter's ordeal while she was out.

 Andrew's reaction was no different; his expression was filled with rage as he balled his hands into fists and tightly pressed his knuckles against his palm in frustration. Sensing her husband's shift in demeanor, Kylie soothed him by gently tapping on his hand.

 Jack played the hotel video for Kylie and Andrew. While Kylie managed to maintain her composure, Andrew couldn't handle it anymore. He abruptly stood up from his seat, snatched the phone from Kylie, and forcefully smashed it against the ground in anger.

 Jack remained unfazed as he watched his phone get smashed, showing no reaction since he wasn't concerned about it at the moment. He knew that if he were to ask for his phone back, he would have to deal with his dad's anger.

 "Who do they think they are, acting like they're the only ones who can do whatever they please in this city? How dare they treat my daughter like that?" Andrew fumed, his hands tightly clenched.

 Kylie pondered the situation and found herself just as furious as Andrew. She glanced at Hendry and Jack and remarked, "Considering what I know about you guys, shouldn't you all have already begun your work?"

 Jack grinned and playfully remarked, "No way, Mom. Why would I abandon someone who insulted my sister? They're in for a rough ride for a while."

 Hendry shot Jack a serious look upon hearing the mention of 'my sister'. Jack quickly averted his eyes and glanced at his mother, pretending to be unaware of Hendry's glare.

 "That's great, make sure your sister doesn't have to go through this again," Kylie said, gazing at her two sons. "Of course, Mom," Hendry affirmed with a nod.

 He then glanced at his father and then at his mother. Kylie gestured for her two sons to exit the room and let them have some privacy. Subsequently, Hendry and Jack left the room.

 Meanwhile, over in Averna, within the well-constructed and sophisticated office, David entered Ethan's office and updated him on the Warren family's situation. Despite not being a prominent family, the Warrens still engaged in profitable business ventures.

 However, David refrained from disclosing the reason behind the Warren company's financial setbacks as he was aware that his boss disliked discussing others, even if they were acquaintances. It wasn't due to being preoccupied, but rather because he simply didn't concern himself with individuals he wasn't familiar with.

 Ethan didn't seem to care about Warren's family matters, as it wasn't his concern. Instead, he turned to David and inquired, "What were you up to all day yesterday? You don't appear to be working for me."

 David met his boss's gaze and replied, "No, Boss. I'm your secretary, so I definitely work for you." "I don't think you're completing the tasks I assigned to you." "Mr. Hendry phoned, Boss."

 Upon hearing about Hendry's call, Ethan glanced at David and questioned, "Why did he call?" David promptly recounted the conversation and what Hendry had requested.

 "Looks like someone decided to mess with the Adam family's Young Miss," Ethan remarked, his face devoid of any emotion.

 "No, Boss. They claimed it wasn't Ms. Olivia. Despite the Adam family's preference for secrecy, Ms. Olivia stands out. She's always flaunting her lavish lifestyle and sharing her pictures on social media," David explained.

 "But didn't you mention it was her sister?" Ethan asked, clearly puzzled. "Mr. Hendry insisted it was her sister, and he was furious. I have a feeling things won't be pleasant for those involved."

 Ethan was completely baffled and pondered for a while. Hendry wasn't the type to easily accept someone as his sister and spend time with them, let alone be so protective of them.

 Out of the blue, his grandpa's words flashed in his mind and his expression shifted. He glanced at David and instructed, "Get me the surveillance footage."

 His voice sounded rough, and David could tell that his boss was different now. Without hesitation, he connected his phone to the office TV so Ethan could view the surveillance footage.

 After some time, Ethan finished reviewing the footage. Despite feeling a bit shocked, he still had a warm feeling in his heart. A small smile appeared on his face, and his eyes lit up with genuine warmth.

 David, who just watched the footage, suddenly felt a sense of familiarity with the girl who was targeted. Without glancing at his boss, he awkwardly blurted out, "I think I know that girl from somewhere."

 In an instant, realization hit him, and his eyes widened in shock as he turned to look at his boss. Another wave of surprise washed over him when he saw his usually cold and composed boss smiling while watching the TV.

 "I need the details on Zara that you shared with Grandpa," Ethan said, his eyes fixed on the TV screen. David was taken aback by his words.

 Without receiving any reply, Ethan shifted his gaze towards David, raising an eyebrow, and asked in a cold tone, "Don't you have any interest in working anymore?"

 Shaken out of his thoughts, David quickly responded, "I'll get it right away, Boss." He turned and hurriedly left the office to retrieve the information Ethan had asked for. Meanwhile, Ethan continued to watch the screen, with a constant smile on his face.

 In no time, David arrived with the document and placed it on the table in front of Ethan. Ethan grabbed the file and skimmed through it, causing a noticeable smile to spread across his face.

 David found it strange to see his boss smiling so genuinely, but he mustered the courage to speak up, "Boss, when Mr. Thomas requested the information, our team initially faced some challenges. However, they swiftly managed to gather all the necessary details."

 He added, "Our people are unbeatable, except for Eclipse. I wonder who they are?"

 Ethan, in a happy mood, smiled and asked, "Did you think you can gather the necessary information because people are so skilled at their jobs?"

 David, without hesitation, responded confidently, "Absolutely, Boss. The Anders are renowned worldwide for their exceptional abilities. No one can keep secrets from them. It's a well-known fact, Boss."

 Ethan, still focused on the file, replied, "That may be true. However, in this particular case, it's not because of the Anders' reputation."

 Confused, David looked at Ethan and asked, "Then how did we manage to find them, Boss?"

 After examining the file, Ethan stood up and adjusted his attire. He was dressed in a perfectly tailored charcoal suit, complemented by a crisp white shirt.

 As he picked up his coat from the chair, he glanced at David and said with a smile, "It's because she allowed you to find them."

 Shocked, David questioned with bewilderment, "Boss, are you saying that Ms. Zara intentionally let us discover those?"

 As Ethan made his way towards the door, he replied, "What else do you think? We're also heading back to Elbonia immediately. Start making the necessary preparations." Without saying another word, he confidently strode out of his office.
