Adoption

 Andrew asked his wife carefully, "Honey, do you want to adopt her?" as he observed the kind, worried expression on her face. Kylie was taken aback by the unexpected emergence of the question.

 "What do you mean, Honey?" Kylie questioned, glancing at Andrew. "I want to know whether you would want to adopt the girl and provide her with a home that she can call her own." Andrew said as he sat properly in front of her and clasped both of her hands in his.

 After giving it some thought, Kylie nodded. "So that's it. We'll let the boys know tomorrow and start the adoption process for the child." Taking a calm look at his wife, Andrew said.

 "However, what would Lia and the lads think? Would they not be offended if we brought in a girl from outside and formally presented her as their sister? Furthermore, Lia just went abroad." With concern and a stressed look, Kylie inquired.

 "Don't you know about our children? Are they the kind of people who would think that? Don't overthink yourself. Andrew comforted her. "But still..." Because she had to tell her kids, Kylie was still unsure about her decision.

 She didn't want to disappoint their children. And she only wants to see her children's happiness.

 "If you still hesitate, then let me share you a secret." Andrew remarked as he smiled knowingly. Kylie questioned, "What is it?" as she cast a glance at her husband. "Do you know how I got the idea of adoption?" When Kylie heard Andrew's query, she shook her head.

 "Our baby gave this thought." When Kylie learned that her daughter, who was living abroad, had come up with the adoption proposal, she was shocked once more.

 "Yes, she discovered throughout the call that there was a problem with you. After I told her everything over the phone, she advised me to ask you this."

 "Do you mean our Lia is fine with us adopting the young girl?" "Indeed, that was her statement. She requested that I follow your wishes. I don't think there is an issue if your desire was to bring the young girl home."

 "Then what about the boys?" "I'll message them to be here for breakfast and we'll talk with them." Kylie gave Andrew a nod. They eventually drifted off to sleep.

 Early the next day, the boys were waiting for their parents in the living room. Kylie and Andrew looked at the hall and Kylie squeezed Andrew's hand nervously looking at the boys.

 "Don't be worried. I'll speak with them." Andrew said as they walked and sat on the couch. "Dad, good morning. Mom, good morning." The boys greeted their parents. 

 "Good Morning." "Good Morning." Andrew and Kylie greeted them and Kylie looked at them nervously. Kylie nudged Andrew and made eye contact, indicating that he should talk.

 "Cough.... Boys. We both have something to talk to about." Andrew stated, glancing seriously at the youngsters. Kylie nervously looked at her boys who raised their heads to look at them.

 "We plan to...." Before Andrew could complete it, Alan said with a calm voice, "We know what you're going to talk about, Dad." Now it's turn for both of them to be in shock.

 "Yes, Dad. Lia told us everything when she phoned us yesterday. And we also think the same as Lia. You two can do what you see fit." Hendry continued.

 "Yes, Mom. If you like the girl very much, then we'll respect your decision." Noah added looking with his casual cold look.

 "However. Mom, Dad. Don't forget about Lia just because you bring another girl over. I'll turn this home upside down and go live with Lia if you forget her, then I'll never come back." Jack spoke in a somewhat humorous yet serious tone with a serious look.

 "You... you're really very difficult to handle." With a fierce gaze and a smirk, Kylie pointed at Jack and said. "Furthermore, you don't have to give such an example regarding Lia. We may as well forget about you, but not our Lia." Andrew stated, casting a somber and detached glance at his kid.

 Seeing his father's lethal gaze, which appeared to be saying, "If you try to use Lia in such a way, then you won't see a day tomorrow," made Jack shrink his neck in fear.

 The couple told the family about their choice after speaking with the boys and eating breakfast, and everyone was in favor of it. Because giving a child a family to call her own is not a bad thing.

 The couple quickly finished the adoption process by midday, officially adopting the little girl by giving her the name Olivia Adam.

 People were first astonished to learn that the Adam family had another daughter since, as far as they were all aware, the family only had one daughter, who passed away in an aircraft disaster.

 Where, therefore, did this six-year-old daughter come from as well? The family, however, chose to disregard a lot of rumors and just made a news release that said, "The Adam family introduces their youngest daughter, Olivia Adam."

 "The attorneys representing the Adam family will investigate any rumors regarding their youngest daughter." was also announced alongside it.

 After hearing the news, a lot of common individuals stopped gossiping since they couldn't afford to get sued. Furthermore, the higher-class individuals did not wish to have a strained relationship with the Adam family. Consequently, the topic of this youngest daughter's origins was soon forgotten by everybody.

 The family made this announcement because they identified themselves as her parents to her right away upon their first meeting and said that she had been in an accident that caused her to lose her memory.

 The doctor informed them that due to her head injury, she wouldn't be able to cope with emotional issues for now, so because she was still a young child, the couple chose to move on and start a new life for the little girl, preventing her from being traumatized by the past.

 Everyone stopped talking about the Adam family's elder daughter's death, as well as the younger daughter's unexpected presence.

 Everyone treated Olivia as the Adam family's only daughter who was doted on by her family, discussing her lifestyle and vacations and attempting to win favor with her in any way possible, as well as being friendly with her since childhood.
