The Hudson Bay. Known for its variety of aquatic species, it is also home to many local fisheries and seafood markets. Churchill, a small town of only 870 people, is one of many small towns situated on the Hudson Bay.

There's your tourists who venture to the town to experience the beauty and variety of wildlife. From Beluga Whales in the summer months to Polar Bears in the winter and early spring. LIfe flourished all around, which is what drew many to the town.

Permanent residents relied on the wildlife to provide a stable source of income for their families. Many took to the water after discovering how fishing was revolutionizing the World. But, just like any small secluded town, there's also rumors.

Some claim to have witnessed a creature like no other. A creature 40 feet tall. It has the ability to see with no eyes, doesn't eat despite having teeth. From eyewitness accounts, it moves fast and blends in with its surroundings, and mainly likes to hunt humans. Yikes!

From the Caribou River Park Reserve to the Wapusk National Park, sightings continue pouring in from around the Country.

A family of three went missing Saturday night after traveling to the Caribou River Park Reserve northwest of Churchill, Manitoba. This adds three more missing persons to the growing number who've already been pronounced missing. Officials advise residents and tourists to not travel to the Caribou River Park until further notice. All roads, trails, and access points have been closed to the public.

Relatives of the family have come forward in a desperate attempt to locate and find their loved ones. Authorities in Churchill, Manitoba have begun their investigation into the missing persons case. No word yet on progress made thusfar from Sheriff Kobb.

"They had planned a weekend family camping trip to Caribou River Park back in early March," grandmother Helen Reeds, said during a phone interview, "the last I'd heard from them, they had sent a family picture with another text from my son saying: "Caribou Park, Here We Come."

Digging deeper into Caribou River Parks' haunting past, BayNews 9 discovered more than 84 documented missing persons reports. BayNews 9 reached out to Park Rangers for comment, but have not received a response as of this updated report.

"I just hope they're okay," Mrs. Reeds said, "We just want them to come home safe and sound."
