Promising Warmth

The entire Calyx pack was busy in all preparations for the bonfire feast, when Elio stepped out of his room the next morning, pretending as if he had been asleep this whole time.

Apparently the gathering was going to be larger than usual this time, because the Nova pack members were invited too.

Since their Alpha heir had returned after so many years, it called for a joint celebration between the two allied packs.

Elio was all giggly and smiley the entire day, which made Maia and Alwyn suspicious if the Omega had lost his mind, but they knew very well that he was just excited to see his best friend again, it made them a little jealous too, which the Omega found absolutely funny.

Maia even asked him aggressive questions like "Who's your better best friend, me who stayed with you and played with you and what not, or that Alpha who wasn't even here for the most part."

"Hey, take my name too!" Alwyn piped in, but he was ruthlessly ignored by his sister.
