Chapter 222: Coming Back
Lu Xianrun had actually returned last night, but he had to give a report at the squad and had some matters to handle, so he didn't get home until now.
Looking at his daughter he hadn't seen in a month or two, Lu Xianrun's eyes turned red.

"Dad, you've lost so much weight."
Lu Xianrun smiled, "Losing weight is good, losing weight is good." It's better than not being here at all.
Jingqiu held Lu Xianrun's arm and said, "Dad, are you going back this time?"
"It's over, we won't be going back."
"What about Nanzhou, has Nanzhou returned?"
"He's back, but he's still dealing with some matters, and he probably won't be back until next week."
"Dealing with what matters?"
Lu Xianrun opened his mouth but didn't speak; Jingqiu didn't press further and instead became concerned about her father's health.
She was so shocked to see a severe wound on his waist that she almost dragged him to the hospital.
