Feng Xi’s Short Play

Qiao Jing's face was black after listening to what had happened from the invigilator. He looked at Song Xinya's pale face then at Feng Xi's smiling face and shook his head. But what surprised him was Feng Xi's test results, every test was a perfect score! Not able to hold in wondering why Feng Xi was playing dumb this entire time he couldn't help but ask: "Miss Feng, why did you hide your academic ability?"

He never expected this simple question would cause Feng Xi to burst into tears! "Because Madam Feng asked me to never show my abilities at school. She said for a motherless child showing too much promise would hurt my ability to stay in the Feng family. If I didn't do as she asked and allow my sister to always look good, not only would I be kicked out, I would also be killed!"

Qiao Jing's face turned red with anger and he looked at Song Xinya who he knew had a good relationship with Jiang Yi! Song Xinya quickly turned her head away, not daring to look at Qiao Jing at this time. "That is nonsense! Why would you be looked down upon in the Feng family! After everything was explained Feng Shun almost crushed the phone in his hand. "Oh, really did she now?" His voice was low but filled with chilling killing intent. "Let me speak to Xi'er"

Passing the phone over to Feng Xi Qiao Jing said: "You father."

"Father..." Feng Xi answered the phone, her voice still a bit choked from crying.

"Xi'er listen to your father and listen clearly. No matter what you are to do your best in school. Never listen to that bitch. She is no good! I also heard you gave Jiang Lan a good beating. Do your father a favor and keep disciplining her for the rest of the school year. Do not worry about any consequences, your father will handle everything. If Jiang Lan happens to never wake up from being disciplined that's fine too." The way Feng Shun said his words were in the warmest loving way when he spoke to Feng Xi, but the words that came out of his mouth were in no way warm!

But this also told Feng Xi that her father seemed to be making a move on Jiang Yi. Thinking on this, Feng Xi said: "Father… Let them suffer slowly. Give me five years and I will make them suffer in the worst way possible."

Feng Shun was a bit surprised by his daughter's words. But he also felt it was better this way too. "Mmm… I will do as you say and let them slowly suffer but let me handle Jiang Yi. For now, I will just surpass the other two families."

"I understand Father, I will leave it to you then." Feng Xi said with a faint smile on her face. In this life, she will not disappoint her father like she did in her past life. She knew how upset he was with her back then. This time around she will make him proud.

She smiled and walked over to Qiao Jing and handed the phone to him. Qiao Jing was still worried and hoped the girls as not just forcing a smile so he asked: "Miss Feng..."

"I'm fine now Head Teacher Qiao. Everything will be dealt with at home. I know longer have to hide my abilities." Feng Xi gave Qiao Jing a bright smile which allowed Qiao Jing to breathe a sigh of relief.

Qiao Jing looked at Song Xinya and sighed. "Miss Feng, if you would like I can fire her right now, or is it okay for her to stay a teacher in the school, but on reduced pay and probation."

"She can stay but she has to adhere to the bet she made with me and call me Auntie Feng from now on or be fired."
