The Reader will create his own ending

"No matter how many times i pinch myself, the results remain the same. It really is the Flaura City huh?" said Blaze while looking around. Blaze Ignis (a 18 - years old high schooler) one day , suddenly wakes up to find himself in a field of beautiful flowers and soft grass. He remembered reading his favorite novel and wishing he would just transmigrate as one of the characters of the novel and get rid of his shitty life, before falling asleep. This novel was more precious to him than his own life (not exaggerating). it was what kept him going, when he almost gave up on his life too many times....His parents were pressurizing him because of the college entrance exam , and of course the high school graduation exams. Always comparing him to his cousins, in EVERY damn thing, EVERY SINGLE DAY. Ignoring his own achievements and hard work. This has been going on for the past 5 years , since he was 13....his endurance was definitely at its limits. Anyways...seems like a god has granted his wish, except he is in his own body and he has a system which is not supposed to exist at "this" point in time. It also contains some skills he has never read about before...and the description box is just showing [???] , even some skill names are hidden in a similar way. His only objective is to prevent the tragedies that are to follow Frore (MC of the novel) and through a change of events , obtain the kind of ending he wants to see. But ,is it really as simple of a task as it seems to him??

Celebrate.

"Hm"

Blaze expressionlessly agreed.

However internally he was admiring adorable Frore was trying to console him.

{Uwah~ when did you become so kind. Is this what parents feel like when their child grows up?}

Then, he refuted his own thoughts seriously.

{No...you were supposed to be like this, innocent and kind. Circumstances forced you to become cold and cruel.}

Blaze then patted Frore's head, after remembering everything that Frore had and will go through.

"You're right."

Blaze stopped patting him.

"Follow me downstairs. I have something to talk to you about."

Frore nodded indiscernibly.

----

In the living room.

Blaze sat on the couch opposite to Frore. He placed two glasses of orange juice on the table and made eye contact with Frore .

Blaze was trying to select his words carefully so as to not make Frore uncomfortable. But he couldn't come up with anything and chose to give up on the idea in the end.

He decided to ask Frore straightforwardly. He believed that they had become close in the past two months that they had spent together and that Frore would not be wary of him asking questions.

Blaze took a sip of the orange juice and decided to break the silence after a few seconds.

"Can you tell me about what happened inside the tunnel? How were you able to defeat the dark mage?"

Even though Blaze had pretty much guessed what had transpired there, he still had to ask Frore for confirmation.

Frore nodded and recounted all the events that had happened from the when he had opened his eyes in the dark tunnel to the dark vines that had strangled the dark mage and had then returned to the shadows. Of course, he left out the part about what dark mage had said.

Blaze who had been listening to him attentively, smiled when he had finished speaking.

"Congratulations! It sounds like you have awakened the shadow elemental. It will take some time to fully master it, but I am sure that it will be really powerful."

Frore was relieved to see Blaze's reaction. Thankfully, he had not awakened some evil power.

Blaze thought for a bit before changing the topic.

"I have to go somewhere tonight. Can you come with me?"

"...ok." Frore didn't want to be separated from him so, he readily accepted Blaze's offer.

----

Blaze led Frore through a dark alley. They were both wearing masks and caps to avoid getting identified by the people.

Blaze stopped walking in front of a run-down five Storey building, that was the tallest building in this neighborhood. He bent a little and opened the shutter of the closed shop on the ground floor of the said building.

Frore was wondering about what Blaze was planning to do. There were no shops that were open in this alley, there were no lights; if it weren't for the moonlight that was shining brightly it would have been completely dark in the alley. There were no sounds either, the place was deadly silent.

He trusted that Blaze knew what he was doing. Therefore, he just quietly followed him without asking any questions. Blaze entered the shop and signaled with his hand for Frore to do the same. Frore entered and Blaze closed the shutter.

They climbed up to the fifth floor through a narrow staircase.

The first thing that came into their view, at the end of the stairway was a wooden door, which was being guarded by two bulky men.

The man on the left was bald and the one on the right had short brown hair. Both of them were wearing masks and black suits with a pair of headsets. They looked towards the two approaching masked boys, who appeared to be in their mid-teens.

However, they didn't question them about what they were doing there. Since, it was just that sort of place. People from all age groups gathered there on a regular basis. Instead, they asked, "What's the password?"

Frore was wondering if Blaze was part of some secret organization or something similar and wanted to introduce him to the circle.

Blaze thought for about ten seconds and then replied.

{I hope that it's the same as what I remembered.}

" 'The godforsaken ones depend on themselves for the hope of a peaceful night.' "

Frore memorized what Blaze had said, just in case if it would be useful to him in the future.

Blaze was a bit nervous and looked at the two men. Of course, he appeared perfectly calm on the outside.

The two men nodded simultaneously, they stepped aside and opened the door behind them. They both then bowed respectfully towards Blaze and Frore.

"Welcome to 'Serene Bar and Restuarant'. We hope that you will enjoy your time here."

Frore was a bit shocked when he heard 'bar and restaurant'. He has never been to a restaurant before and wasn't expecting Blaze to bring him to one. When he entered through the gate, he was further shocked and surprised.

The difference between the outside and inside appearance of this building was like day and night. There was a large hall with a huge disco ball spinning and shining in different colors, hanging from the ceiling. DJs were playing loud music in the background and there were many people cheering, drinking, chatting and dancing. The place had a lively vibe to it.

There were various kinds of people here, but all of them had one thing in common. Almost all of them had their faces covered one way or another, even the bartenders and waiters had masks on their faces.

Looking at Frore's expression from the corner of his eyes, Blaze chucked softly.

Blaze bent his head a little and whispered close to Frore's ear.

"Do you like this place? I wanted to surprise you and bring you out for dinner, to celebrate you getting your first elemental."

Frore nodded with clear joy and a bit of excitement in his eyes. He liked anything that Blaze did for him.

Blaze smiled quite satisfied with his reaction.

"Wait here for a bit, I will be right back."

Frore leaned against the wall and obediently waited for Blaze.

Anashvar is about to make his appearance soon~
