CHAPTER TWO: CRUEL FATE

UNKNOWN POV

The kingdom of Mythosia is one of the greatest kingdoms around the medieval time. It is ruled by King Nodi the fourth, a feared and powerful ruler who would stop at nothing to expand his land, even if it meant sacrificing his own kin. Despite his brutal tactics, he was loved by his people and respected by many.

King Nodi sought an alliance with the kingdom of Eldoria, but his proposal was rejected, leading to his hasty departure. As he galloped through the palace grounds, he caught sight of a young lady in the library, displaying impressive telekinetic abilities. Intrigued, he became fixated on her, determined to learn more about this mysterious woman of Eldoria.

Upon discovering her identity from a maid, King Nodi was captivated by her beauty thought she is covered in a long cape, her elegance, posture and grace couldn't be ignored. He saw her as a rare gem and made plans to pursue her, despite the potential consequences. As he made his way back to the throne room, he pondered his next move.

The King of Eldoria was deep in thought when King Nodi interrupted him with a proposal for an alliance through marriage. The King was taken aback by the suggestion, but King Nodi was determined to get what he desired, even if it meant resorting to force.

This decision sparked a new war between the two kingdoms, with King Nodi leading the charge to claim the princess of Eldoria for himself. Despite the kingdom's attempts to remain isolated, the war inevitably reached their doorstep.

After a brutal conflict, the kingdom of Eldoria lay in ruins, its people enslaved by King Nodi. The princess and queen remained elusive, evading capture and leaving behind a legacy of resistance.

HALONA POV

In the aftermath of the war, Princess Halona and her mother lived in hiding, constantly on the run from King Nodi's forces. Halona honed her powers and skills, determined to survive and one day reclaim her kingdom. As her mother's health declined, since the news of the kings death and the fallen of Eldoria reach them. Halona grappled with the harsh reality of their situation.

While in hiding have gotten better in my powers. My vision are now as clear as the day, my telekinesis has gotten really better and my knowledge about healing has grown ten fold.

    My mother once told me about her maid who is a person with super abilities like mine but with different purpose and power. I don't know why it seems she won't live longer than this. Still in my thought i felt a hand touch my cheek to clean my rolling tears. I look straight into her eyes and give her a sad smile.

"Wherever you find yourself, don't seek revenge" my mother said with tears threatening to fall from her eyes. I keep silent and hug her instead.

Tragedy struck when mymother passed away, leaving me alone in a world filled with uncertainty. Determined to carry on the  legacy, I vowed to forget my royal past and focus on surviving in this hostile world.

"I keep thinking about all that had happened, from falling from grace to nothing. Now a decree is made that all eldoria seen should be captured and brought to the cruel king. A great bounty on a good catch. Which is anyone who captured the royals shall be rewarded handsomely. I have no where to go, than to leave on my mothers jewels the knights of mythosia keep parading all kingdom seeking the royals.

Now it's summer time I walked to the market to  make an exchange with my Mother's earring and in return I get money. I need to live on.

I got to the woman who make exchange with hasty step trying to prevent any form of recognition. Strange looks is been thrown at me, giving me the look I don't belong here. And yes I don't belong here, the once loved princess of Eldoria now a fallen princess. I gave the woman the two piece of earring with rare pearls adoring the edges. she keep on checking it out while I waited patiently thinking she is admiring the rare item, until she let out a loud gasp which startled me "you own this piece?" because only eldoria people get to have jewels with pearls " she asked squinting at me. "If she's asking this then she definitely knows of the royal jewels. I tried to snatch the piece from her and run. She raise it higher than her head and me being a short lady couldn't reach it with my hand for she is a tall woman. she continue yelling at me, calling the attention of the parading knights. I decided to run instead of taking the earring with me.

But stopped in the process by what she said "you are an eldoria" she said with affirmation. That's when I knew I'm doomed I tried to escape the scene but what strength do I have compared to the mythosia knights. A grip on my arm left me shocked to my core. I fought with all my might to free myself but it all proved abortive.

UNKNOWN POV

Halona's identity as an Eldoria was exposed. Captured by a woman who recognized her royal jewels, Halona's fate as a slave of Mythosia was sealed since this day on.

Despite the challenges ahead, Halona remained resilient, holding onto the hope that one day Eldoria would rise again. Her journey as a captive of King Nodi's kingdom had only just begun.
