Chapter 6 The Battle

Jerome had spent the last three days watching Lil Capo's rap battles and figured out a vital flaw in his game. He just had to practice his verses and he felt like he had a chance to get the first round upset against the legend. Having done his research and training it was time to pick out the perfect fit. He decided to go with all black including the infamous all black AF1s. Getting dressed and heading to the arena Jerome was a bit nervous he'd never done anything like this before, but he was also excited to see his hard work in action. After getting close to the stadium the system notified him. "Entering dungeon expect 2x exp and rewards or defeating bosses." Jerome was surprised this was the first time he saw a notification like this. This just fueled his excitement even more. " Round 1 match one will commence in 15 minutes will Lil Capo and JStar come to the main stage." Jerome had to pick a rap name last minute and kinda panicked and just went with the first thing that popped in his head.

" You look nervous!" Lil Capo barked at Jerome "You look like you just escaped the nursing home." Jerome said with a smile. He wasn't as intimidated as he thought it must be the system buff he thought. When in reality it was all of the adrenaline coursing through his veins. "We have a couple of fired up contestants for the first round! This being Lil Capo home field and defending champ he will start this battle" bellowed the announcer over a microphone. "LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!!"

Jeromes mind went black he felt like he was going to pas out, but when he opened his eyes everything was clearer than it had ever been in his life. "Let's do this!"
