Airi reached her dear school  [ note the sarcasm!] within few minutes.

Parking the car, she walked inside still speculating the small episode that transpired in the morning about some mysterious entity trespassing inside her car.

Airi still had on a calm face while she tried figuring out the situation thinking about several possibilities, as even with those layers and layers of protection under such a high level of security, someone was able to break in without leaving out a single clue!

The person should be a master of some secret organization to have been able to perform such a fit!

Invested in her thoughts, Airi seemed to have forgotten to put on her hoodie jacket when realized the surroundings. She regretted making such a slip-up!

She has forgotten to wear her hoodie and everyone was freaking starving!

O joy!

Opting for a hoodie yesterday wasn't the problem!

Airi hurried off towards the lockers. Taking out the required books, she ran off to her designated classroom. This time she had to sit at the back of the class.

Throughout the entire class, she had to endure their curious looks. Airi felt uneasy as she wasn't used to being stared at. Though she felt uncomfortable with all the attention focused on her, she didn't let it show on her face which remained indifferent. She didn't bother looking around but kept her head held high with eyes concentrating towards the front.

All in all, everyone could see her quite well.

'Hey, I forgot my hoodie that doesn't mean I have to hide!'

'But let me tell you the feeling is not comfortable all but awkwardly embarrassing.'

'I might be nervous but I'm surely not a wimp! '

No sooner did the bell rang when Airi was out of that hell hole.

She opted to spend her time in the library.

'Thank lord, no one was there. '

'Oh! I forgot... '

'It was a class hour and everyone was in the class unlike me! '

She went off towards the shelves to hunt for books humming a tune 🎵

Airi was startled when she saw something or like someone when she got closer to the required bookshelf. The other party was sitting on the floor with his back towards her.

Unexpectedly, this sudden encounter got her to freak out and raise her heartbeat.

You would most certainly not expect people on the floor of a library!

Though it wasn't his fault, to begin with, he was there even before she came to the library but it was his fault for giving her such a scare!

'Damn, that was quite a scare there I got !!!'

'I just was on the verge of getting myself a heart attack! '

Airi harrumphed walking past him irately.

She didn't bother looking at him anymore.

'I didn't care!'

Airi skimmed through the books on other shelves and deliberately avoided that place.

It was only after a few minutes went by when she started feeling goosebumps, the hairs on the back of her neck and arms rising.

'No! not again !!!! '

What's with these goosebumps, creepy stalking, and intruding on her personal space?

'And not to forget even entering her car!!!! '

Airi endured everything once again.

'So much for my ignorance!!'

Sighing, she continued with her book exploration.

The library had some very good books. She had already selected a dozen for reading. She would be done after getting some more and so she continued with her survey.

She had just turned to her left only to come face to face with a beautiful face beholding a pair of captivating purple eyes staring up at her!

'Oh, Holy! '

'Oh My God !!! '

'Please, just tell me I'm so dreaming!'

'Is this even possible???'

She somewhat had the idea of what her expressions were.

Eyes wide open, wider like the eyeballs popping out of its sockets, mouth with a big 'O'!

A shocked surprised startled one indeed!

Airi glanced at the other party, coincidentally the trespasser too had the reaction mirroring her.

He had the same expressions and emotions on his face and eyes that her newly painted portrait had.

The loneliness and sadness in his eyes were evident. But soon those emotions were slightly taken over by Excitement? Happiness? Hope? Longing?

'Are you some face reading freak?'

'Now you can read the faces of people and their emotions!'

Airi heard her stupefied brain questioning her!

His face kept wavering with series of emotions one after the other. It was as if she was witnessing an emotional roller coaster ride!

'What did I say about reading faces?!'

'I'm probably going nuts...'

She heaved out a heavy sigh followed by a large intake of breaths.

'Did she perhaps stop breathing as well? '

Airi looked away shaking her head but had to look back again to confirm if it was a dream or reality.

To her surprise, huh. It. Was. Real!!!

She thought she was startled by herself but what was up with him to have been so surprised.

What she meant was that guy had still been gazing at her without so even blinking?

'Does he by any chance know that she drew him?'

'Does he also know that I've been dreaming about him for so long!'

'Or maybe he too had drawn my picture? '

Airi was snapped back into reality when she heard him speak.

"Ca-ca--can y--you see--s-see m--me?" the stranger stammered out his query with a hint of uncertainty in his tone.

Eh?

'Does he think I'm blind?! '

"Huh? " I managed to verbalize out confused.

'What? Now I'm speaking!'

" Can you see me? " he replied without stammering this time.

Eh?!

This time his tone was hopeful, rather sounded excited? As if he wasn't convinced that she could see him and that he could hardly believe it!

'For the love of God!'

'Dude! Even I can't believe it, how could you?'

Airi was surprised to see his eyes were even shining with happiness.

" Oh? ye-yeah?" still confused, Airi somewhat managed to vocalize her words.

Hah!

She even started speaking, for real?

It was confirmed!

"You can see me! " he smiled widely and excitedly.

'He is beautiful!'

'Wait for what! where is this coming from?'

Airi started feeling her head spinning in circles, getting lightheaded. It didn't even occur to her as to why everything suddenly went all black.
