He knew she was a spoilt brat but didn't expect her to not give respect to the only man who loved her beyond words. Liam couldn't imagine what her grandfather saw in her to maker her his heiress. He could feel the distress of board of directors and shareholders towards her. They would never accept her and try to dethrone her from CEO position. The company and reputation her grandfather had built will be tarnished by her. Liam couldn't let it happen.

He hurriedly went to stop her from making any more scene.Ryan saw fuming Liam coming toward Amy and placed himself bodily between them. Liam smirked and told ryan " I am not here to harm your darling princess but i have a reputation to maintain. Bring her out and stop creating a scandal in funeral of my former boss."

Ryan understood and brought her outside. He waited for Liam to say something but was shocked to see that Liam suddenly threw chilled water at Amy's face.Amy was startled and was about to slap him but he held her hand in place. "Only a fool like you would dare to come drunk in her grandfather's funeral. Did you ever loved or even respected him Miss Amelia? He trusted you enough to make you his heiress and this is how you repay him?

Amy was shocked to hear that she was given the responsibility of Ava International. She always thought that it would be given to Liam despite not being blood related his grandfather valued him a lot. He could easily handle the company and no one would have objected. None of the shareholders or board of directors would agree to her name. There would be chaos and all will try to takeover the company themselves. Honestly she can't blame them when she herself wasn't sure if she could manage Ava. She had never even set foot there. She sure had degree from best college in advertising field on insistence of her grandpa but she was just an average student there. She suddenly looked sick thinking about all this.

Liam mistook her sickness to be related to alcohol and his scowl deepend. Before he could react Ryan angrily spoke " Now i know why you are so angry and taking it all out on Amy, you wanted the crown for yourself. You actually forgot what your roots are".

Liam felt like he was slapped hard, but his face was poker as always. He seethed " Think what you may i only have best interests of Ava at heart unlike some people here." He then told Amy to come inside only when she feels sober and then went inside without backward glance.
