Khai licked his lips, fighting his urge to kiss her as leaned towards her. She gasped softly, tilting back at his abrupt closeness. “Well, right now, I think you’re challenging me. Which means you’re curious about me. Tell me Anaya, are you curious about me?” *** This is a slow detailed book. Read until chapter 30 at least before you decide to drop it! Chapter 106

Wet squelches merged with the sounds of steel slicing through bone as they moved past the monsters, getting closer and closer to the cave entrance.

A werewolf lunged at him from the shadows when Mika's voice bellowed through the carnage. "I sense her in the chamber! Go, or they won't cease attacking!"

He heard a dull thud as another rogue staggered forward, immediately flying back before it could reach him. Realizing that Mika was casting a shield around him, Khai whipped past the attacking rogues, moving in a blur, his eyes zeroing in on the lone rogue blocking the entrance.

Ruthlessly cleaving through any werewolves that inched closer to blocking his way, he stood squarely facing the only giant monster left between him and the chamber. He was about to lift his sword and saw through its fore limbs when it's hooked claw slashed through his chest in deep gashes.
