Chapter Thirty Seven: The Search For Madness

Raven and Shawn Traveled to Kara's last known location but once there, they found no sign of the former Queen of Witches. " I am telling you, she was here" Raven promised.

" I believe you, the problem is that we have no idea where she would have gone" Shawn assured as they looked around the small cottage.

" Its possibly that she went to the Witch Kingdom" Raven suspected.

" Why would she do that? " Shawn questioned.

" She will want to do away with the version of herself in this world, and she would have to steal the infant version of herself to do that. So she more than likely, went there.." Raven explained.

" But that's a bold move even for her. Delightfully hood that she would even be able to get herself out of there would be very low. Not to mention the fact that Aurora would defend Kara against anyone who wished to cause her harm.

" I know but I promise you that she's there. I can fill it inside of myself. She wants to guarantee her place in this world" Raven looked to Shawn, she was sure of herself in this moment.

" I guess we can go there. But it may end up causing more trouble by doing so. But..Protecting young Kara is important so I guess we should make our move" Shawn didn't want to cause anymore paradoxes than he was already dealing with and was almost certain that this would cause more.

" Hold On " Raven rushes to a desk where she finds some papers that Kara had written upon.

" It looks like a diary of sorts" Raven explained.

" Kara never kept a diary. She hardly ever did any form of writing that I can remember. If you gleam any information from there, it could be trap. She knows you love to read" Shawn pointed out.

" No. This isn't giving me anything to do with her plans. But it does give me some insight into her mindset" Raven gleamed through the pages intently, seeming to be very interested in the words of Kara.

" It seems as though she truly does blame us. She knows that Gabriel and her were never meant to be and yet she misses him. She has been seeing visions of him..of him discouraging her from doing the things she has done. She intimidated the sisters of fate and they are the ones who bestowed her with the child"

" Well that's a bit extreme" Shawn scratches his head.

" And she is willing to go much further than that. She is going to stop at nothing to ensure that Penny dies. She believes that Penny is a false savior and that her child is the true savior. An idea she apparently got from someone but it doesn't say who.." Raven continued looking over the pages but could not find the source.

" Oh no.." Shawn had suddenly realized where she would have gotten the information from.

" What? " Raven questioned.

" Come with me " And with that, Shawn and Raven dissapear and arrive at the Prison where the child was once held. Shawn can clearly see that the cell was open and that the child was free. " So...we have a problem" Shawn looks to Raven who is now also, deeply concerned.

" What did you do? " Raven questioned, knowing her husband was feeling guilty about something.

" Shawn, WHAT DID YOU DO? " Raven spoke in an even louder tone!

" I..I'm sorry " Shawn could not even bring himself to speak the words.

" This can't be what I think it is..can it? " Raven walked past Shawn and looked within the cell. She could sense the energy within the room, it was all too familiar to her.

" I thought you said you dealt with the child.." Raven shot back a death glare to Shawn.

" I couldn't bring myself to do it. She is my child no matter what.." Shawn felt ashamed for the trouble he had caused. He knew that this was just another reason he should have done away with the Lingering much sooner.

" Shawn, you have to fix this. You have to find her. If she is in the underworld right now we are going to have a lot more problems. She will completely destroy everything" Raven demmanded.

" I know. And i'm going to do my best to find her one way or the other" Shawn answered.

" And when you do..end her.."
