Nagae Estate - Riku's Room

June 20, 2021 - Sunday - 6:45 A.M.

Riku POV

Six hours after what happened yesterday night, I woke up to prepare for the day ahead. I shall go on a date with Eli today, like I promised her. I hope nothing goes wrong.

I got out of bed to do my morning stretches, and the door opened revealing Youmu, who had brought my clothes and uniform from the laundry room.

Riku: Ah, good morning, Youmu.

Youmu: Good morning to you too, Riku-kun. How was your sleep?

Riku: It felt good, thank you very much. So, what brings you here?

Youmu: Well, I came here to bring your clothes. They're all washed and ironed. You can get some clothes from here. I mean you have a date with Eli-san today.

Riku: Right. Then I'll be taking these. As for the rest, you can put them in the closet.

Youmu nodded as she brought the trolley to my closet as she began to put my clothes inside the closet. As she was doing that, Youmu asked me if I was alright.

Youmu: Riku-kun, how's your body?

Riku: Aside from my left eye turning blue, I'm alright. But thanks for your concern.

Youmu: Well, Yuyuko-sama got worried when Eirin-san reported what happened to you. She nearly used her teleportation spell to come here....in the middle of her date.

Huh? What did Youmu said just now?

Riku: Youmu, what did you just say just now?

Youmu: Yuyuko-sama would've used her teleportation spell in the middle of her date?

Riku: So they finally made their move huh?

Youmu had a surprised face as she knew what I was talking about.

Youmu: You knew?

Riku: Of course I know. I know that Yuyuko-san and Gin-san liked each other a long time ago. It's just a matter of when will they do it. And to be honest, I'm happy.

Youmu: Yeah. I've never seen Yuyuko-sama so happy. I just hope they could tie the knot.

Riku: That is when Gin-san knows the truth.

Youmu: So Yuyuko-sama told that to you too?

Riku: She told me that when we were at the Hakugyokurou. I was shocked to say the least.

Youmu: I see. Since Yuyuko-sama trusted you with her secret, then I'll trust you in keeping it.

I just nodded as I intend to keep Yuyuko-san's secret hidden. While Youmu is busy putting my clothes in the closet, I took off my shirt so I could change, but I looked into the mirror and...

Riku: What in the flat living fuck?

I can see myself in the mirror. But just this time have my muscles become more toned, nearly like those bodybuilders on TV, but not to the same extent. I tried to touch it, and it felt firm. Youmu turned around to see why I had stated that before, saw me shirtless, and began to blush as red as a tomato.

Youmu: Riku-kun.....your body...what happened?

Albion: [I think I can explain what has happened to your body.]

I looked at my right hand as a small blue gem appeared on the top of my hand.

Riku: Albion, did you have something to do with this?

Albion: [It's not just me, partner. Iku and I were accountable for your body's abrupt change. The Divine Dividing began to fully meld with you the minute you went asleep, but it also aimed to eliminate any power you now possessed. So Iku and I decided to make some changes to your body so that it can use both your inherent youkai power and the sacred gear simultaneously. At the same time, you've evolved into a hybrid of humanoid dragon and youkai.]

Riku: I see....so I'm no longer human anymore...

Iku: [It's the only choice we had. Me and Albion had to choose what to discard for your new power, and we had no choice but to discard your human side.]

Me and Youmu were both shocked that Iku was talking to us through the sacred gear. 

Riku: Iku? How can you talk to us from there?

Iku: [Surprised right? It turns out, Albion being here can be considered a boon. With this, I can talk to you without you coming to your mindscape anymore.]

Riku: I see....about you two discarding my human side....

Iku: [If you are concerned about the negative effects, we have taken some precautions to address them. As a half dragon, you'll become more competitive and possessive, but not in a bad manner. With your abilities, you will be able to easily suppress the side effects. But for now, put on a shirt. Youmu's as red as a tomato right there.]

I glanced to Youmu, who was still crimson. I grabbed the shirt that I had chosen and wore it immediately. I'm now wearing a plain light blue shirt and brown jeans. I'll decide what I'm going to wear for my date with Eli later today. As I finished putting on my clothing, my phone rang. It was Aichi. But that wasn't an ordinary call; it was a video call. I connected my phone to the flat screen and answered Aichi's call.

Aichi: Took you a while to answer my call, Riku. I was close to- what happened to your left eye?

Riku: I was in the middle of changing clothes. And as for my left eye....some stuff happened, I'll fill you in later. So, why did you call me early in the morning.

Aicih: I wanna ask, are you and Eli going out on a date today?

Riku: That is the plan today. Why?

Aichi: Well, me and Kotori decided to have a date.....and she insisted that she wanted a double date.

Riku: So it's you and Kotori. And me and Eli?

Aichi: Yeah.

Riku: And you agreed to it?

Aichi: Well not just me. Eli was on board with it as well.

Riku: When did you get this idea?

Aichi: Right after we helped Eli with the moving. And it was all Kotori's idea and Eli went on board with it. 

Riku: Fine, I'll play along. Do you and Kotori have any places in mind? I was planning to take Eli to one of a few sweets shops I know. And I know that Eli has a huge sweet tooth.

Aichi: Where's the shop that you're planning to go?

Riku: It's in Shibuya. Want us to meet at the station?

Aichi: Yeah, we can do that. Let's meet up at the station at 9.

Riku: Sound good. see you there.

Aichi nodded as he ended the call. I turned off the TV and sighed.

Riku: To think that our date turned into a double date with Aichi and Kotori. Youmu, can you check if Eli's already up?

Youmu: Sure. Should I head back here and tell you that she's awake?

Riku: Just message me once you know if she's already up or not. I'll go to her room myself if she's up.

Youmu nodded as she exited my room with the cart. I walked to my desk to check whether there was any mail. And lo and behold, there were....many. And one of those letters came from His Majesty personally. And the email provides information about the Gensokyo Grand Festival.

His majesty suggested to me that the Gensokyo Grand Festival be discussed at the gathering in August because it will affect not only us youkai, but all of Japan in the near future. I replied that I accepted the suggestion. However, this means that I must stop buying the stuff needed for the festival.

So I sent a message to Nitori and Takane to cease activities until the gathering had ended. And as I checked my email, I received a message from Youmu informing me that Eli has woken up. I got up from my chair and went to Eli's room.

Meanwhile with Eli...

Nagae Estate - Eli's Room

7:00 A.M.

3rd POV

We go to Eli who is slowly opening her eyes. She slowly got up and looked around and see that she's now living at the Nagae Estate from now on.

Mitsuri: Good morning, Eli-sama.

Eli looked to her right and it was her aide Mitsuri, who is standing beside her.

Eli: Mitsuri...good morning...How long have you've been standing here?

Mitsuri: I got here 5 minutes ago. I was about to wake you up, I mean you have a date with Riku-sama today after all.

Eli lightly blushed as she remembered that she asked Riku to go on a date with her. But Eli didn't add that they'll be going on a double date with Aichi and Kotori.

Eli: I know. But thanks for trying to wake me up. I-

Before Eli asked Mitsuri something, the door opened and it was Youmu.

Youmu: Good morning, Eli-san, Mitsuri-san.

Mitsuri: Youmu-san, what brings you here?

Youmu: Well, Riku-kun asked me to come here to see if Eli-san's awake. And I'm to send a message to him immediately if you're already awake.

Eli: Riku needed something from me?

Youmu nodded as she texted a message to Riku. She returned her phone to her pocket as she turned to the door.

Youmu: I've done what I came for. Riku-kun will be here in a moment. Now if you excuse me, I have a garden to tend to.

Youmu left the room and right on time, Riku arrived.

Riku: Good morning, Eli. How's your sleep here....

Riku eyed on Eli's nightgown. It was a semi-transparent nightgown in a sky-blue color, and it increases Eli's attractiveness and Riku can't do anything but blush. Eli suddenly realizes it as she covered her body with a blanket.

Eli: G-Good morning....Riku....tell me....you saw it.....right?

Riku only nodded as Eli began to blush.

Mitsuri: Oh come on you two. You're already engaged though not officially yet, you'll be seeing each other like that sooner or later.

Both Eli and Riku blushed to Mitsuri's words. But Mitsuri decided to change the topic.

Mitsuri: Anyway. Riku-sama, Youmu-san told us that you want to ask something from Eli-sama.

Riku: I do. Mitsuri, can you go on ahead and help for breakfast?

Mitsuri bowed as she left the room, leaving only Riku and Eli.

Eli: Can you....umm...turn around for a bit? I want to change.....

Riku: Sure, go ahead.

Riku turned around as Eli got off her bed and went to the closet as she change her clothes.

Eli: So, what brings you here?

Riku: Aichi told me about the double date today.

Eli: So he told you about that?

Riku: He told me just now. What made you agree to Kotori's suggestion?

Eli: Funny enough, she wanted to use this chance to hang out with you and at the same time have a date with Aichi. Umi and Nico were asking if that was the right call, but Kotori wanted this to go through.

Riku: Hmmm...I mean I haven't hang out with Kotori for a long while....I remember when me, Kotori and Aichi use to hang out. She's like a chick trying to follow her mother....which is us.

Eli: Kotori really looks up to you, you know that? She said so when I first met her. Anyway, you can turn around now.

Riku turned around and he saw Eli wearing a light pink v-necked shirt and dark brown short pants.

Riku: Looks good on you.

Eli: Thanks. So, did Aichi say anything else?

Riku: About the double date, we decided to meet him and Kotori at the Shibuya Station at 9.

Eli: I see. Thanks for reminding me.

Riku nodded as he head to the door. Right as he touched the doorknob, the door opened and it was Mitsuri.

Mitsuri: Riku-sama, Eli-sama. Breakfast is ready.

Riku: Thanks for telling us. Eli, let's head to the dining room.

Riku hold out his hand as Eli grabbed his hand and both of them went to the dining room for their breakfast.

Timeskip...…..

Shibuya Station

9:10 A.M.

After finishing their breakfast, Riku and Eli prepare for their date today, meeting up with Aichi and Kotori at Shibuya Station. As they were about to leave the estate, Rinko and Miyu arrived to say goodbye and wish them luck on their date. Riku responded by kissing Rinko and Miyu on the cheeks, leaving them beet red.

Riku decided not to use any of his cars or the Universe Ring. Instead, they'll take the train. They're currently at the station, waiting for Aichi and Kotori.

Eli is wearing a white blouse with puffy sleeves an a plaid skirt in shades of beige and brown. Eli's hair is down as she decided not to tie it like she used to, and she has a silver crescent moon hair clip on her right side.

Riku is wearing a blue shirt, a white jacket, black pants. As for his hat and scarf, he decided to leave it in the estate. He may left his means of fighting behind, but he has Albion with him. And in addition, on the collar of his jacket is a pin of OG that was given to him after his performance with OG at the Totsuki resort.

Eli: Are you sure that they'll meet us here?

Riku: I'm positive. They should be here....right...now.

Aichi: Sorry we're late!

Eli and Riku looked to their left and saw Aichi and Kotori. Aichi is wearing a white long sleeved polo and a pair of dark brown pants. Kotori is wearing a pastel blue top with frilly-lace edges and long sleeves, paired with a soft pink skirt, and her hair is tied in pigtails with curled ends.

Eli: It's alright, we just got here. Did we, Riku?

Riku: Yeah. And it's not like we waited here for an hour or two.

Kotori: Riku-kun, what happened to your eye?

Aichi: And you're not wearing your hat and scarf.

Riku: Well, things happened yesterday. I'll tell you later in a more private place. As for my hat and scarf, I left them at the estate. But don't worry, I'm wearing the Water Webs of Heaven and Earth here. But for now, let's have some fun.

I rolled my sleeves as I show the two bracelets that Tenshi made for me and Aichi nodded in assurance.

Aichi: Then I have a place that I know you'll like.

Riku: Then lead the way.

Aichi led the way to their first destination and the place is....a crane game store....I looked at Aichi and he was looking at me with a bit of hostility and 2 men appeared behind him carrying cameras.

Riku: Aichi....what are we doing here? And what's with the camera?

Aichi: This is the other reason why I agreed to the double date.....Riku....it's time to settle this, once and for all.

Riku looked at the young Hinanawi as his eyes were full of determination, and Riku understood.

Riku: Ah...so it's that time again huh? Alright then, challenge accepted. Kotori, what's the current record again?

Kotori: Umm....it's 57-58 in favor of Riku-kun.

Aichi: This time, I'm gonna win this and tie it up. What's the budget for this? Since I challenged you, you get to decide how much.

Riku: ¥150,000 is the budget. And we can't use our abilities.

Aichi: Fine by me.

Riku and Aichi shook on the conditions and both of them entered the crane game shop with fiery auras coming out from them, leaving Eli and Kotori.

Eli: Kotori....what was that about?

Kotori: Well, way back then, Riku-kun and Aichi-kun had a rivalry in crane games. It's not that bad though, as all of the prizes that they win are all donated to children's hospitals.

Eli: So they're doing this for a good cause?

Kotori: Yup. Well, let's just get inside.

Eli and Kotori entered the store as Riku and Aichi were at the coin exchange to change their money to coins for the crane games. After they got their coins, both of them looked at their respective girlfriends.

Aichi: Sorry for dragging you two in this situation but....I had to do this.

Kotori: It's alright Aichi-kun. I know that this'll happen eventually.

Riku: Well, it'll be rude to just leave you girls hanging. How about you two have fun for yourselves as well.

Riku and Aichi gave their girlfriends ¥150,000 each. Both girls were shocked to see the amount that their boyfriends gave to them.

Kotori: Aichi-kun, isn't this a bit too much?

Aichi: Nonsense! In crane games, there isn't a bit too much!

Riku: You might need the extra money if you want to get what you want. You girls enjoy yourselves as I beat his ass this time around.

Aichi: Excuse me? 

Riku: I meant what I said. And let the challenge begin. See you in 2 hours.

The boys split up as their challenge began, leaving Eli and Kotori again.

Eli: So, how does their challenge work?

Kotori: Well, It's quite simple. Whoever gets the most prizes and whoever has the most amount of money left within 2 hours wins.

Eli: хорошо. I thought that this will take longer than I expected. But what's with the camera crew that came along with Aichi?

Kotori: Aichi-kun videos every crane game that he goes to with Riku-kun or with his other friends and he lets the people decide who wins the challenge.

Eli: How come we didn't know this?

Kotori: Well, you never asked. Honoka-chan and Umi-chan are also aware of this, as all three of us have known Aichi-kun since childhood. His videos mainly feature arcade and crane games, and Aichi-kun has a devoted fanbase.

Eli: Doesn't that mean Riku will have a disadvantage with the votes?

Kotori: Nope. There will be no bias in voting, so it's all fair and square. I think we've wasted a bit of time here. How about we enjoy ourselves as well, Eli-chan?

Eli: Well, our boyfriends kinda ditched us....might as well.

Eli took a hold of Kotori's hand as they play the crane games together. They exchanged their bills for coins so they can play. As they found a crane game that they liked, they overheard Aichi screamed.

Aichi: ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!?! WHAT IS THIS?!?!?! ARE WE SERIOUS?!?!?!

Riku: THAT WAS ALL ME!! I TAKE FULL CREDIT!!!!

Hearing Aichi cursed and Riku taunting him surprised Eli and Kotori. Eli looked at the staff member behind them as she asked if it was okay for that to happen.

Eli: Is that alright?

Staff Member: Hinanawi-sama is among our most committed customers. I believe his screaming demonstrates how serious he is about these things, though he usually keeps it to a minimal when there are other customers. In addition, he is increasing the exposure of this establishment, which will attract more customers. So we see it as a win-win. And you appear to notice that it's just you girls, Hinanawi-sama, and his team are present.

Eli: You mean we get this place to ourselves?

Staff Member: For just 2 hours of course. For now, enjoy your time here. If you need any help, just tell any of the staff.

The staff member left as Eli and Kotori returned to playing the crane game.

Kotori: You think Riku-kun or Aichi-kun will like this?

Kotori pointed at a chibified humanoid doll with long blue hair with red eyes with a hat on top of it's head with a smug smile on it's face.

Eli: I think so. I guess we can try.

Kotori inserted the coin to the slot....and down to the crane game rabbit hole they go.

2 and a half hours later....

Kirinoya - Tokyo Branch

11:45 A.M.

Riku POV

After two hours of crane games, Aichi and I left with a large number of bags in our hands. We agreed to send the prizes we won to the Nagae Estate after I recommended that Aichi and Kotori spend the night at my place so we could go over what we got there. As we walked out, Kotori and Eli followed afterwards, and both of us noticed them clutching a few bags, indicating that they had also won a few prizes.

It was almost time for lunch, so I asked Aichi whether he had anything planned. And, fortunately, he had reserved a spot ahead of time, which is where we are today.

The place that Aichi reserved for our lunch is Kirinoya...if I remember, this is one of the best traditional Japanese restaurants. We entered the restaurant as one of the waiters greeted us.

Waiter: Welcome to Kirinoya. Do you have a reservation?

Aichi: We reserved under the name Hinanawi.

Waiter: Let me take a look.....there it is. If you please follow me as I take you to your seats.

We followed the waiter as he took us to one of the more private rooms. The waiter slid the door open as he presented us our seats.

Waiter: Here are your seats. Once you take your seats, you can take your orders.

We took our seat as I sat beside Eli and on the opposite side, Aichi sat beside Kotori. As for our orders...the four of us chose to take the Yakiniku - Omakase set as the table we're in is also a grill. As we told the waiter of our order, he told us that the meats will be in our table in about 30 minutes. And since we're not that hungry yet, we said that they can take their time.

As the waiter left, I slid the door closed and the atmosphere became a bit tense.

Aichi: Now that we're in a more private place, Time for you to explain what happened to your eye.

I expected that he would ask me that first. I placed a soundproof barrier just in case as I summoned the Divine Dividing in my right hand. As my vambrace manifested, Aichi and Kotori's eyes widened.

Aichi: Riku, what happened to your hand?

Riku: This is the Divine Dividing. A Sacred Gear, and is one of the 13 Longinus.

Aichi: Hold up. How did you get a Sacred- don't tell me-

Riku: Yeah. Kuroka was the one who gave this to me. She gave this to me as a way of thanks for saving her. And as to why it's on my hand, it's because it resonated with me.

Kotori: Ummm....I may be a bit left out but.....what's a Sacred Gear?

Me and Aichi made eye contact and nodded. And since we only have half an hour till our order arrived, I gave Kotori the short version on what happened. It took just 10 minutes to explain, and as I finish explaining, Kotori placed her hands on the Sacred Gear.

Kotori: I see.....I understand. To think that you were given such power....

Aichi: And I didn't expect that a real dragon is living inside of that. And being able to divide anything is kinda broken...it's as if you had 2 abilities aside from your usual.

Kotori: Riku-kun, does having that affect you in a bad way?

The orb in my vambrace glowed as Albion spoke on my behalf.

Albion: [There is nothing to worry, young lady. My partner can continue his daily life without anything bad happening to him. He can summon me anytime he wants.]

Aichi: So you're the White Dragon Albion?

Albion: [I am indeed Albion. And it's nice to meet you, young Celestial. You really look like your sister.]

Aichi flinched as Albion mentioned Tenshi.

Aichi: You know my sister?

Albion: [I'm at my partner's mindscape, and I manage to take a glimpse of her. She's still asleep inside the Dragon Palace. As to why I knew you were siblings, the blue hair kinda gave it away.]

Aichi: I see.....so nee-san is still sleeping.

Riku: I got news from Iku a few days back. She said that Tenshi might wake up right before the gathering begins.

Aichi: Wait, didn't you say that she'll be waking up at least in September?

Riku: If I took the normal route. I told you that she'll be able to recover faster when I'm at places with dense spiritual power right?

Aichi: You did say that, but why didn't you include when?

Riku: I thought you might've figured it out.

Aichi: You know what, I'm not gonna argue with that. So, will you be fighting using Albion from now on?

Riku: I'd like to keep it under wraps until the gathering. I'd like to utilize this as an ace in the hole in case the branch family challenges me. But, for the time being, my grandfather is putting together a training program for me on how to use it. Kuroka is also assisting me with how I use my Sacred Gear in exchange for teaching her how to use danmaku.

Aichi: A fair trade. Do you have any idea who will be your training partner?

Riku: The closest one who can be my training partner is Meiling-san. But I don't know if she's vacant since she's guarding the Koumakan 24/7.

Aichi: Hmmm....how about we change topic. It's about the call you made yesterday. You said that you want us to go to CiRCLE tomorrow right?

Eli: Right, Aichi did tell us that.

Riku: I guess I can tell you that. But keep it a secret to the others till tomorrow.

Eli, Kotori and Aichi nodded as I tell them what happened at CiRCLE.

Riku: Before I tell you, do you know the group MORE MORE JUMP?

Eli: MORE MORE JUMP?

Kotori: We know them. They're one of the popular idol groups right now. And they became even more famous after beating A-RISE.

Aichi: And Nico and Hanayo can't seem to stop talking about them. What about it?

Riku: You see, they came to CiRCLE yesterday and asked me if they can perform there.

Aichi: What?

Riku: So I told them to come back on Monday for my answer.

Kotori: Riku-kun, you know MORE MORE JUMP too?

Riku: Well, Shizuku's sister, Shiho is working in CIRCLE so yeah.

Eli: And you're already in first name basis.....don't tell me...

Riku: I'm not...although her voice is pretty....alluring....

Kotori: Riku-kun...could you possibly-

*BAM!!!!!!*

Right before Kotori talked, Aichi slammed his hands on the table with a frustrated face.

Kotori: Aichi-kun!? What's the problem!?

Aichi: WHY DIDN'T I THOUGHT OF THAT SOONER!?

Eli: Thought of what?

Riku: What he meant was you girls performing in CiRCLE instead at Hanasakigawa.

The two school idols suddenly realized what I meant and both of them felt how Aichi felt.

Kotori: To think that it was so obvious and we didn't even noticed it.....

Eli: We went too much on the school theme and we forgot several options....

Riku: Well, that's to be expected. But all will be explained tomorrow, so I'll be expecting you all to be there.

The three nodded and I recalled my vambrace, deactivated the barrier and right on time, the waiter arrived with our orders.

Waiter: Sorry for the long wait dear guests, but your Yakiniku - Omakase Set is here.

The waiter placed a tray of various meat cuts. From beef tongue, to sirloin, even the rump and cheek. And he also placed several sauces for the meat and dipping sauces for us as well.

Waiter: If you need anything else, just ring this bell. And with that, enjoy your meal.

The waiter bowed as he left while leaving the bell with us.

Kotori: This is a lot of meat. Do you think we can finish this?

Aichi: If Nozomi were here, she would be in cloud nine.

Eli: True. And with that.

Eli took out her phone and took a picture of the meat and sent it to Nozomi.

Aichi: You're quite cruel, Eli.

Eli: Consider this payback for ditching me at Hanasakigawa last time.

While they were bickering, I went out of my way and started lighting up the grill. I only ignited the left and right grill as I left the center grill off so we can put the cooked meat there.

Riku: Let's just stop talkin' and start grillin.

I took the tongs that was beside the meat and placed it on the grill. I went for the tongue first cause why not. I placed some sirloin for Eli too. Aichi followed my lead as he snagged another tong as he grilled for him and Kotori.

Timeskip...….

Gensokyo Central District

4:30 P.M.

After eating our meal and feeling satisfied, we decided to go to the Gensokyo Central District at my request, since I had a surprise treat for Eli there. The Gensokyo Central District is located in the center of Shibuya and allows inhabitants of Gensokyo and others to purchase, sell, or even start their own businesses if they do not have a spot in other parts of Japan for reasonable pricing.

Markets, restaurants, and shops. You name it, and this place has it. Aichi and I have come here before, so we are familiar with the site. Eli and Kotori are experiencing this for the first time.

We agreed to continue our date here and let Kotori and Eli select what to do this time, and both of them wanted to go shopping, which Aichi and I gulped down. The two took us into every clothing store they saw and purchased what they wanted. The money didn't matter; what mattered was how much Aichi and I carried along the way.

After a few hours of shopping for the ladies and exhausted arms for me and Aichi, I decided to call one of the suits to deliver what Eli and Kotori had purchased to the estate. I told them to take Eli's purchases to her room and Kotori's to the guest room.

After that shopping trip, I informed the three that there was one place I wanted to take them, so the four of us went to the location where I was ordered to go, and a few minutes later, we arrived at a store with no name yet, and I saw Momo inside. Momo seemed to notice me when I waved through the window. She rushed to the door and opened it, greeting us with a bow.

Momo: You made it in time, Riku. I was worried that you weren't coming.

Riku: I kinda got held back, but regardless, we're here.

Eli: Riku. Who is she?

Riku: Everyone, meet Akanegakubo Momo. She's a student at Totsuki Academy and a desert specialist.

Aichi: I'm Hinnanawi Aichi. Riku's best friend. 3rd year student at Otonokizaka.

Kotori: Minami Kotori. 2nd year student at Otonokizaka as well. And I'm Aichi-kun's fiance and Riku-kun's old friend.

Eli: And I'm Ayase Eli. 3rd year student at Otonokizaka and it's student council president. I'm also Riku's fiance.

Momo: Hm....Akanegakubo Momo. 3rd year student of Totsuki Culinary Academy and I'm the 3rd Seat of Totsuki's Elite Ten Council.

I raised my eyes as Momo mentioned that she became the 3rd seat. But Eli and Kotori had different reactions.

Eli: You're a third year student? For a second, I thought you were a first year.

Kotori: Totsuki? You mean that huge cooking school? And what's the Elite 10?

Riku: The Elite 10 are the 10 best chefs in Totsuki. They're basically the student council of that school, as their authority is only second to the headmaster, they can overturn anything as long as they have the majority vote.

Eli: That's too much power for a student though.

Riku: True, but it's a necessity. Momo, you said that you're the third seat. I thought you were the fourth seat?

Momo: After our Shokugeki and my lessons with you. I challenged To-myan to a Shokugeki where we bet our spots. And I won the Shokugeki.

Riku: To-myan?

Momo: Megishima Tosuke. He's a third year like me and a ramen specialist. The theme of our Shokugeki is our signature dish. Though I won the match 3-2...

Riku: Then it was a close one. 

Aichi: Ho.....changing subject, how did you manage to get this place?

Momo: I used one of Riku's contacts to get this property at a low price. I intend to use this location as my flagship pastry business. And once I graduate, I can begin immediately without any fuss. I'm still thinking on the name of this place, but that will come later.

Riku: So you used that contact huh? Anyway, did you finish it?

Momo: I did, It's been in the fridge for a while now. I was about to take it out now to decorate it.

Riku: Good, how about you finish it while we watch.

Momo nodded as she headed to the refrigerator and brought out a baking pan. She placed it on the cake stand and removed the pan, revealing a chocolate cheesecake. Kotori was pleased to see the cheesecake, and Eli's eyes gleamed.

Riku: So this is what you're telling me a few days ago. I take that the toppings are already prepared?

Momo: Hm. I just need to put the chocolate ganache and chocolate whipped cream and it's done.

We watched Momo quietly pour the ganache on top of the cake. She distributed the mixture evenly with a spatula and let it aside for a few minutes. After it cooled, she took out a piping bag and filled it with whipped cream before beginning to decorate it. After adding the whipped cream, she grated a bar of dark chocolate on top. She served us with the cake after she grated it.

Momo: Here's my take on the classic chocolate cheesecake. This is a triple chocolate cheesecake. The cake contains white and milk chocolate with a hint of espresso, with an oreo cookie crumble as the foundation. Topped with dark chocolate ganache and chocolate whipped cream.

Kotori: Wow~

Eli: Sounds...tempting....

Riku: Quite impressive. I thought you would be taking the extra mile with the design.

Momo: You said it to me the first time you began teaching me..."Simplicity at it's finest".

Aichi: How are we gonna cut it? I mean, if we use a normal knife, it might ruin the cake.

Momo went away for a short while, taking a knife and a blowtorch. She turned on the blowtorch as she placed it on the knife. When the knife reached a specific temperature, she turned it off and sliced the cake perfectly before placing it on the platter with a golden fork.

When I got my slice, I took a closer look, and the cake interior resembled a chessboard of white and milk chocolate. The cookie crumble matches the colors white and brown. Before I even started cutting the cake with my fork, I heard a thud next me, and it was Eli, who had been knocked unconscious by just one bite, and by the look on her face, she was in complete joy. Not only that, but Kotori was also knocked out.

Eli: хорошоoooooooooooooooooooo.....

Kotori: Chun chun~....

I decided to taste it to see how those two ended up like that. I took a bite and holy hell.

Riku: Normally, blending white and milk chocolate would make this cake overly sweet, but the espresso, coupled with the dark chocolate ganache, balance it out. The cheese isn't very salty, and the texture is fluffy as well. The icing is not too heavy. Momo, what kind of chocolate did you use on this cake?

Momo: For the white chocolate, I used typical Belgian white chocolate. I just bought the milk chocolate from a shop I know in this city. The black chocolate is Peruvian dark chocolate, which was imported from Peru. As for the espresso, it's a high-quality Italian espresso that my father gave me after returning from Italy last week.

Riku: No wonder those two are at cloud nine right now.....are you planning to sell this?

Momo: No. I plan to use this as a secret item.

Aichi: Ooooh...a secret menu item then. That means that whoever wants to order this must be mostly a regular here.

Momo: I want to at least give my loyal followers something....anyway, are you gonna wake them up?

Riku: Let them be for a moment. And to be honest, I was kinda afraid what will their reaction would be. For a second thought that Eli and Kotori would strip right here due to how delicious the cake was.

Aichi: Right....I forgot that the dishes from those who came from Totsuki creates foodgasms.

Momo: That means we're doing it right. By the way Riku, have you finished picking the final 100?

Riku: I'm halfway there.

Momo: Please hurry.....Tsukasa-san is getting a bit...paranoid lately since you haven't sent your final decision....

Riku: I'll be bringing it to Totsuki myself at the end of the month.

Momo: At least you got a deadline. 

Aichi: Hey, I don't wanna be left out or somethin' but....what're you two talking about?

Me and Momo gave Aichi the details of the Autumn Festival that will be held in the September, along with me picking the 100 first years that will be competing in that tournament. Aichi nodded in understanding.

Aichi: Well, since you asked Riku to do it then I can say you made the right call. Riku has a very keen eye in seeing talent. I'm sure that whoever he picked will be great in the future. But how did Riku even get this kind of responsibility anyway?

Riku: Well....Sanzaemon-dono actually challenged me to a Shokugeki, where I have to face Momo. If i lose, then I had to retire from music completely and join Totsuki.

Aichi: YOU WHAT?!

Riku: Can you shut up cause I haven't finished talking yet.

Aichi calmed down as he let me continued talking.

Riku: As I was saying....if I lose, then I had to retire from music completely and join Totsuki. But if I win, then not only I get to continue my music career, the Celestial Families will have a hold in the majority of Totsuki. And all of the plans they make, we will have the final say to it.

Aichi: So that's why I had a lot of paperwork a month ago. I was wondering why I had a lot of paperwork involving a culinary school, it tuns out, it was that.

Momo: And it was a relief that I lost. Before your families had a hold on Totsuki, we Elite Ten had to take the brunt of all the paperwork, leaving us to little to no time in perfecting our craft. But with the things going now, we have a lot of free time than the last.

Aichi just hummed as he took another bite on his cake. As he was eating, Eli and Kotor were waking up.

Eli: uhn....what happened....

Kotori: We just took a bite on the cake and....

Riku: The cake was so delicious to you two, you go knocked out cold.

Kotori: But how are you and Aichi-kun still up?

Riku: We're used to it. But don't worry, what happened to you only happens on the first bite. You can enjoy the cake after that.

Kotori and Eli looked at their cakes as they took another bite and me and Momo can see the bright smiles on their faces. Me and Momo did a fist bump as her cake was a massive success.

Riku: Say, you made extras of that cake right?

Momo: I did. You want to take some with you?

Riku: Can you do that?

Momo: I can.

Timeskip...….

Nagae Estate - Riku's Room

10:30 P.M.

3rd POV

Following their visit to Momo's future pastry shop, they agreed to extend their date till 6. And before they went, Momo handed Riku and Aichi a box of the chocolate cheesecake they had just eaten so they could take it home.

The four had dinner outside before returning to the estate. When Riku and Eli returned to the estate with Aichi and Kotori, they were met by Rinko and Miyu, along with their maids.

Riku informed them what happened on their date, and Rinko and Miyu were pleased to see their sister having a good time. Riku then presented them with the cake they had received from Momo, inviting Tina, Mafuyu, Aya, and Hatate to enjoy it. Riku and Aichi proceeded to Aichi's room to resume their challenge, leaving the girls behind. As they left, they heard Nazuna, Sakurako, Kazehana, and Mitsuri scream, indicating that the boys were aware of what had happened.

When the two lads entered Aichi's room, they immediately began preparing everything for Aichi's video. They began recording after completing the necessary preparations. Riku and Aichi demonstrated what they got and how much money they spent inside the two-hour time limit, and Aichi described how the challenge works.

The point is awarded to the person who wins the most prizes, has the most money left, and receives the most votes from viewers.

Aichi won 45 prizes to Riku's 43, therefore the point belongs to Aichi. Aichi had at least ¥3,000 left, but Riku displayed a ¥10,000 bill with a smug grin on his face, indicating Riku received the second point. So the viewers will decide the tiebreaker. And the voting will last a week to determine who wins the challenge. As for the award, the winner will be able to punish the loser.

After filming, Riku questioned Aichi how they would acquire their school uniforms because they had school tomorrow. Aichi told him that while they were on their date, Kotori's mother delivered her daughter's uniform to the estate ahead of schedule. As for him, he could simply utilize the teleportation circle he received from Kanako to travel to the Hinanawi mansion and change.

Right now, Riku is at his room finishing in picking the final 100 freshmen that will participate in Totsuki's Autumn Election. As he placed the final paper of the student that will be participating, Riku let out a sigh of relief.

Riku: Finally....it's finished.....all that's left is to give this to the Elite Ten.

Albion: [You seem pretty exhausted right there, partner.]

A blue gem appeared on Riku's right hand and it was Albion.

Riku: Picking people from an elite school isn't an easy work.

Albion: [I can tell. I was looking through everything from your eyes, and not gonna lie, the chefs in your world are too much compared in my world. I'm not surprised if they have a Sacred Gear in them.]

Riku: Now that you said that, I might start believing you with what you said. By the way, how're are you faring in my mindscape?

Albion: [It's quite very comfortable compared to my past hosts. The place is big enough for me to wander around a bit. And I've already taken a few islands as my territory, which Iku doesn't mind.]

Riku: Wait, you claimed some islands?

Albion: [Your mindscape is that massive partner. When I landed on one of the islands, I felt an immense magic power locked within that island. I began to wonder if I wanted to do something about it, but it might hurt you so I decided to hold on to it until me and Iku got an idea. Now if you excuse me, I'm about to explore some islands again.]

The blue gem vanished as Albion cut the call. Riku noticed on his computer that he received a notification, he opened it and it shows a picture of Chiyu and her band holding a trophy with a huge smile on their faces.

Riku: So Chu² won the tournament that they were playing at. Now that's a start. I wonder if she told them about my engagement by now. Anyway, let me check if there is any leftover homework to do.

The next day...

June 21, 2021 - 7:45 A.M.

Hanasakigawa Girls High School - Class 3-A

Riku called it a night after checking to see if there was any schoolwork left to do...and there was.

Then morning arrived, and Riku chose not to follow his usual routine, instead going straight to the garage and preparing his BMW because he would be driving Miyu to Arisugawa, as well as Aichi, Kotori, and Eli to Otonokizaka.

Not only that, but this was the day he needed to personally inspect his car to see if anything had changed.

After checking his automobiles for an hour and a half, he took a fast shower and changed into his uniform before heading to the dining room, where he meets his betrothed, Mafuyu, Aichi, and Kotori, who are already dressed in their uniforms.

After breakfast, Riku's first stop is in Otonokizaka, which is the closest to Hanasakigawa. So he left off Aichi, Eli, and Kotori there. Right before they left for Arisugawa, Aichi instructed Riku to donate the crane game prizes to a nearby children's hospital, to which Riku agreed.

Right before they departed, Eli kissed Riku farewell.

Riku then dropped Miyu off to Arisugawa where Miyu's friends are already waiting there for her. Riku and the rest finally arrive to Hanasakigawa with just 15 minutes till the first bell rings.

As they got inside their classrooms, their classmates noticed something on Riku.

Classmate 1: Riku-san. What happened to your left eye?

Classmate 2: You're right! It was gold back then, but now it's blue!

Classmate 3: Is it me, or is Riku-san got even taller?

His classmates swarmed him with questions, but Riku calmed them down as he tries to answer them.

Riku: One at a time girls. What happened to my eye is something usual to the Nagae. My eye color changes as I get older. I had a condition so only my left eye changed color, so I don't know about my right eye. Now get to your seats, the bell is about to start.

Riku's classmates followed his words and they returned to their seats, while Riku gets to his. Sayo leaned in as she was asking about his eye.

Sayo: There is more to that right?

Riku: Yeah, I'll share the details to the rest once lunch starts.

Sayo: I see. How was the date with Ayase-san?

Riku: Rinko told you that?

Sayo: She did. While I don't condone this kind of relationship you're having with three girls at the same time, as long as Rinko's happy with it, then I had no qualms to it.

Chisato: Onii-sama, did you and Eli-san went out on a date?

Riku: I did, but Aichi and Kotori came along, so it's a double date.

Chisato: Aichi-kun and Kotori-chan? They're going out?

Riku: More like they're engaged. Their engagement is an arranged one and both of them seems to be happy with it. But moving on, what happened to her?

Riku was poking at Kaguya who was sleeping on the table. The Lunarian princess doesn't seem to budge and Kanon explained the situation despite she was stuttering a bit.

Kanon: W-well....Kaguya-san has been sleeping in her seat the whole time.....

Riku: You mean that she sleep walked her way here?

Kanon: No. Udongein-san carried her all the way here. When she placed Kaguya-san to her seat, she left. We tried waking her up, but she doesn't even budge.

Riku tried to wake Kaguya up as classes is about to start, but what Riku heard ticked him off.

Kaguya(mumbling): hehehehe...suck my ass, you oar fish bastard....1st place is mine....

Riku stood up from his seat and went to one of his classmates.

Riku: Serizawa, can I borrow your bat for a moment?

Serizawa: Um....sure. But why would you need it?

Serizawa got her bat out of her bag and handed it to Riku. As Serizawa asked the question, Riku headed towards Kaguya without saying anything. His peers recognized what he was about to do as he raised the bat. Rinko attempted to stop him, but it was too late. Riku swung the bat down on Kaguya's head...hard.

Kaguya: ITEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Kaguya woke up in immense pain as she was holding her head that has a huge bump on it. She looked around to see who did it, and she saw Riku holding a baseball bat, and she grabbed Riku by the collar.

Kaguya: WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT FOR, YOU OAR FISH BASTARD!?

Riku: I just felt like it you fucking hetare hikikomori-hime. And ya ain't waking up, so I had to swing. You went all out playing games yesterday, right?

Kaguya: Gh- damnit....but do you really had to use that?

Riku: No, but what you said while you were sleeping really ticked me off. And by the way, I talked to Eirin-san and she'll give you another once in a lifetime request.

Kaguya's anger suddenly subsided as Riku said that, she crossed her arms as she let what he did to her slide.

Kaguya: Fine, I'll let this one go. Do that again and the gloves are off.

Riku didn't say a thing as he went back to Serizawa as he returned her bat. Luckily it didn't do any damage whatsoever. As he returned to his seat, the entire classroom was quiet and on que, the bell rung and their teacher arrived.

Their homeroom teacher is Fudo Yukino. She mainly teaches math and a graduate at Princeton. Though with the reputation that she had, she decided to teach at Hanasakigawa to guide the students to the future of their choice.

Yukino: Good morning class. I have something to-.....what happened to Houraisan-san?

Their teacher noticed Kaguya had a huge bump on her head, Sayo answered her teacher as she raised her hand.

Sayo: Riku-san woke her up.

Yukino: I see. Moving on.

Everyone(thoughts): She just brushed it off that easily.

Yukino: As I was saying. Regarding today, classes will be only up until 12.

The entire class started to talk, but Riku and Rinko broke the noise as they asked their teacher for details. 

Riku: So that means we get a half-day of classes?

Rinko: Sensei. As the student council president, how come I haven't heard of this?

Yukino: It was a sudden announcement and the principal was caught off guard as well. And it affects all schools in the Kanto region. It appears that the government wanted to improve the security systems of all schools here as per the suggestion of the head of the department of education.

Sayo: So they don't want any student staying in the school so they can work?

Yukino: Yes. Therefore, all club activities and afternoon classes today will be suspended. For now, let's get this class going.

As their teaches was taking attendance, Rinko leaned to Riku and asked him if he knows of what happened beforehand.

Rinko: Did you know that this will happen?

Riku: No. I want to say that the family heads had something to do with this, but since Yuyuko-san was caught off guard, I threw that idea off.

Rinko: Since we only get half a day. What're your plans?

Riku: I'll just wing it I suppose.

A few hours later....

Geitondei

1:00 P.M.

Riku POV

School ended as scheduled after the morning classes. Just as we were leaving, several personnel arrived with a large amount of security equipment and entered the school. I was supposed to exhibit Albion to the girls over lunch, but I opted to do so at CiRCLE because all Kanto schools are closed, including Haneoka, Otonokizaka, Miyamasuzuka, and numerous others.

So I asked the girls to lunch at Geitondei, which Rinko and Sayo remembered. The girls agreed, and I phoned Ran and Kaoru to see if they wanted to join, while Rinko and Chisato asked their Haneoka friends if they wanted to join, and after a few minutes, they said yes. I also called Aichi to see if he and μ's wanted to join, and they said yes. I asked Chu² if she and RaS wanted to join, and she answered yes. She also wanted me to meet her.

As for Miyu, she declined as she was invited to have a tea party that Haruna will be hosting along with her friends, so Riku let her do what she wants.

Remi, Sakuya and Flan declined as well as they have a prior appointment. Kaguya also declined as there was a game that she was dying to buy and it was a limited stock.

Mafuyu also declined as she, along with Ena and Mizuki are going to Kanade's house as they were worried about her cause they haven't heard from Kanade for a few days now.

Right now, we all arrived at the Geitondei. So far, it's just me, Youmu and the band girls of Hanasakigawa are here. The girls of Haneoka, Aichi and μ's, and Chu² will be here shortly. The door opened and Miyoi greets us and she was surprised to see the amount of people waiting outside.

Miyoi: Welcome to Geitondei~ Let me take you to your- What in the?!

Riku: Yo, Miyoi!

Miyoi: Riku-kun! Why are you here?! Aren't you suppose to be in school?!

Riku: Something important is happening to the school, so we only had school in the morning. And it's not just us, all schools in the region are affected as well. And as to why we're here, I told them that we're having our lunch here.

Miyoi: I see. Aside from Rinko-san, Sayo-san, Chisato-san and Kokoro-chan, I see some new faces. I take that there will be more?

Riku: They'll be arriving soon.

Miyoi: I see. Then come in, I'll take you to your seats. Oh right, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Okunoda Miyoi, Geitondei's main waitress. If you please, follow me.

Misaki: Riku-san, who was she?

Tae: And she's kinda chummy around you.

Riku: Like she said, she's Miyoi. One of my old friends, she and I get along well, and I know the owner of this place too. Now come on, I have a lot to do after this.

As we got inside, I can tell that this place just opened and we were the first customers. I decided to seat near the counter as the other band girls took a seat at the 6-seat table. Youmu sat beside me as well.

Kokoro: This place hasn't changed a bit.

Chisato: You're right. It feels like I'm a kid again.

Aya: You've been here before, Chisato-chan?

Chisato: Of course. Me, Rinko-chan, Kaoru, Ran and Kokoro-chan were here when we celebrated onii-sama's 10th birthday.

Rinko: A pity that I wasn't able to come.

Riku: You were sick at that time. Though you're right that you weren't able to come, you might've met with Ran and the others earlier. And I do remember that you were crying while telling me that you weren't able to come.

Rinko blushed when Riku reminded her that time. And after a few minutes, the front door opened and it was the Haneoka girls who arrived.

Ran: Sorry we came here a bit late.

Riku: You're just in time, Ran. Find yourselves a seat.

Ran nodded as she and her band took a seat at the 6-seat table, Yukina, Ako and Lisa went to where Rinko and Sayo were, Kaoru joined Kokoro's while Maya and Hina went to where Aya-chan, Chisato and Eve were. Rokka felt like she was left out, so I invited her to take a seat with me and Youmu for a while.

Moca: Ne Ran~ How come you know this place?

Ran: I've been here once with nii-san. It was when he had his 10th birthday.

Kaoru: Ah yes, those pleasant times where we don't have a care for the world, and celebrating ani-sama's birthday. I do remember that I wrote a poem for him as a gift.

Riku: And I still have it.

Kaoru: I'm very happy that you kept that for all these years, ani-sama.

Misaki: You wrote a poem?

Kaoru: Why yes, my dear Misaki. Aside from acting on stage, I also want to be a poet. I have some progress, but I still have a long way to go.

Misaki: Hm...right. Riku-san, I did what you ask. Kokoro didn't do anything excessive throughout the weekend.

Misaki passed me a sheet of paper and it was a weekend report that she made regarding Kokoro. As I read the report, I just sighed and smiled at Kokoro.

Riku: Well, as promised. I'll let you choose who you want to face in your next danmaku battle. 

Kokoro pumped her fists as she gets to pick who she wanted to fight. The girls were confused as to why, but I was just focused on who will Kokoro wanted to fight.

Riku: So, who do you want to fight?

Kokoro: I want to fight Flandre!

My jaw dropped and I heard a plate shatter, as we looked at Miyoi who had the same expression as mine. I asked Kokoro again who she wanted to fight....just to be sure.

Riku: Kokoro....who do you want to fight again?

Kokoro: I want to fight Flandre! Can you do that for me, onii-chan?

As Kokoro did her puppy-doll-eyes on me, the door opened and it was Aichi and μ's, along with Chu², Masuki, Rei and Reona. Aichi and Chu² overheard it as they asked the little ball of sunshine if she was okay in the head.

Aichi: Did I hear that right? You want to fight Flandre Scarlet from the get go?

Chiyu: You do know that she doesn't know how to hold back. And she's in the Epic Rank. Are you asking for a death wish?

Riku: Aichi, Chu². You're right on time.

Chiyu: Yeah yeah. Anyway, what's this about Kokoro picking who she wanted to fight?

Riku: Well, Kokoro went a bit overboard last week, so I punished her with no hugs from me and no acrobatics for the rest of the week. In exchange, I'll help her set up with anyone she wanted to fight in her next danmaku battle. And she picked Flan.

Aichi: Well....since you promised, you have to make it happen.

Chiyu: Che. To think that Kokoro can fight in a danmaku battle before me.

Riku: Your ability is too dangerous to be used in a fight just yet. Take it some time.

Chiyu: Fine. Oi, LOCK! I'll take that spot!

Rokka stood up from her seat as Chu² took her place as she took a seat beside me. Aichi and the rest of μ's took the long table. And as everyone is in their seats, Miyoi arrived to take our orders.

Riku: Alright everyone, you can order anything you want. The bill is on me.

As I said that, my childhood friends eyes gleamed as they took advantage of it and went for the expensive ones.

Chiyu: I'll take the Premium Kobe Katsudon! Double it up too!

Aichi: I'll take the Ultra Deluxe Unagi Set!

Chisato: I'll take the Neo-Napolitan Pasta please.

Ran: One Hidden Mist Ramen for me.

Kaoru: I'll take the Fugu set if there is any. If not, then I'll take the Golden Fried Rice.

Rinko: Umm....I'll take the 777 Burger....

Kotori: I'll have the Clear Miso Jewel Ramen please.

Kokoro: I'll take the Black Ox Stew!!!

Everyone was surprised when they heard Rinko and the other's orders. They looked at the menu as they looked to what they ordered and their eyes went wide.

Arisa: WHAT THE HELL?!?! THESE ARE HELLA EXPENSIVE!!!

Arisa shouted at the prices as the others looked at the prices as well.

Ako: ¥110,000 for the 777 Burger...Rin-Rin!!

Rinko: Sorry, but it's been a while since I had that burger. It was so good, I want to have another one.

Moca: Hoooo~ Ran's ramen cost ¥80,000~ Maybe I'll order this one as well?

Ran: I don't think that you'll like it Moca. The ramen that I ordered is a seafood ramen. And I know you hate seafood ramen.

Moca: Oh man~

Maya: The Neo-Napolitan is ¥35,000!!

Chisato: The flavor was amazing when I took my first bite. I had to save up some money just to order that pasta back then.

Misaki: Riku-san....are you sure you want us to order anything we want?

Riku: Don't worry about the cost. All that matters is that you have a very pleasant meal.

Kasumi: I'll take the Geitondei Special!!

Me, Aichi, Kotori, Chisato, Kaoru, Ran, Kokoro, Chu² and the rest of Roselia looked at Kasumi as we heard her order.

Riku: Kasumi....are you sure you want to order the Geitondei Special?

Ran: Kasumi-san. The Geitondei Special isn't meant to be eaten on your own.....

Chisato: It's a....party meal set....Even if you share it with the rest of PoPiPa...

Kaoru: I doubt that you'll be able to finish it.....

Kotori: And it's the most expensive item on the menu.....

Kasumi: Well...reading it sound so good, I want to try it....

Chiyu: Well, you're not wrong. The Geitondei Special uses the best ingredients in Japan, so It'll be expensive as hell. But still, are you sure you want to order it?

Everyone is looking at Kasumi, even Miyoi and the other workers who were peeking in the kitchen as they wait for Kasumi's order. She looked at her band mates as she nodded.

Kasumi: Yes. I still want to order it.

I just sighed and told Miyoi my order.

Riku: Welp. Didn't say I warned ya. You heard her Miyoi. One Geitondei Special and I'll be taking the Devil's Breath Ramen...Level 15.

Miyoi broke her pen as she heard my order.

Miyoi: Riku-kun.....are you taking that challenge?

Riku: I do. I'm confident that I'll finish it.

Tomoe: Ran, what's the Devil's Breath Ramen?

Ran: Geitondei's spiciest ramen. You can choose a certain level of spice. But if you choose the max which is 15 without even drinking, the meal is free.

Masuki: There's a time limit ta it, right?

Ran: Yeah. You have to finish it in under 45 minutes or you'll have to pay twice the amount. Though it's just ¥2,000, only a few has cleared the challenge.

Masuki: Interestin'.....I'll be takin' what Riku's orderin'. But I'll take just the Level 8.

Tomoe: Me too! Level 8 for me as well!

Ako: Onee-chan, are you sure you're okay with it?

Tomoe: Don't worry Ako. I can handle my spice.

Rei: Are you confident, Masuki?

Masuki: Hell yeah I am. I might get some ideas for my ramen with this too.

As we made our orders, Miyoi told us to wait for an hour for our food to arrive. As Miyoi left, Chu² asked me about my eye.

I told them everything what happened last weekend. Not talking about the date I had with Eli, I told them about the Sacred Gear that I had by showing them that. Worry is written on the girls faces as they saw what happened to my hand, but I told them that it won't affect me badly as I can just turn it on and off. And as for my eye, I just told them that because the Sacred Gear is a Dragon-type Sacred Gear, it matches me perfectly, resulting my left eye's color changed.

They asked me what does it do, and I said that it can divide anything I touched and Chu² had an idea. She asked me if I had nothing to do for the weekend, I said that I'm vacant during Saturday only. Which is more than enough for her. She said that she'll be visiting the Estate that day and didn't say anything more.

I leaned in close to her and asked if she told Rei and the others about my engagement and she said no, which surprised me that I know Chu² of all people wants to get things done didn't tell them that immediately. Her reason was to not let Rei get distracted as they were in a middle of a tournament.

After an hour of waiting, our food arrived. Everyone's eyes were wide as they saw my childhood friends orders. The food they ordered looks like it came from a 3 Michelin Star restaurant. When Tomoe and Masuki's ramen arrived, both Rei and Ako were worried to see the ramen that they ordered was a bit dark red. Both drummers gulped, but they welcomed the challenge. But when my ramen arrived, the drummers faces paled when they looked at my ramen was darker than theirs. I just snapped my fingers as I get ready.

But the girls' with the exception of Roselia's jaws dropped when the Geitondei Special arrived, and Kasumi started to regret her decision. Right before we get to eat, a timer was placed on me, Tomoe and Masuki. Miyoi told the two drummers that anyone who orders the Devil's Breath Ramen that is at least Level 8 or higher is eligible for the challenge.

Riku: Tomoe, Masuki. You two ready?

Tomoe: I'm ready as I'll ever be.

Masuki: Bring it on.

Miyoi: Very well. The time....starts....now!

As Masuki and Tomoe got the first bite of their ramen, their reactions are the same. Red faces from the get go and I can see the smoke coming from their ears.

Masuki/Tomoe: TOO SPICY!!!!!

I was just slurping on my noodles without a care as I heard those two drummers scream. Chu² who was beside me was just looking at me eating a ramen that is 20 times spicier than the two drummers.

Timeskip….….

Live House CiRCLE - Riku's Office

3:30 P.M.

I managed to finish the Devil's Breath Ramen Level 15 under 30 minutes. But for Tomoe and Masuki, they managed to clear the challenge with a few seconds to spare through sheer will. After they finished, the chugged the milk that was beside them and asked for more. Moca asked me if how I manage to eat that ramen without a care in the world and I just casually say that I'm used to spice.

After finishing our lunch and paying the bill, which is a very costly bill, I asked the girls on what they were planning to do next. PoPiPa had to cancel their plans as their leader is bloated as a balloon cause of the Geitondei Special, so they decided to head to Arisa's place to hang out.

PasuPare got a call from their manager to head to the agency as they had a commercial deal. RaS decided to use the rest of the day to rest after their win in the Osaka Rookie Fes and headed home. I told Chu² to tell them that as soon as possible and she just waved her hand as they leave.

Kokoro and her band had a massage session planned today so they're not going to CiRCLE as well. Must've been nice to have a massage once in a while.

Which leaves me, Youmu, Aichi, Roselia, Afterglow and μ's head to CiRCLE. As we reached the live house, we were greeted by Marina who was at the front desk and asked me why I was here early. I told her that school ended very early. After hearing that, I asked her to man the front as I head to my office while the other bands and μ's head to the studio if they want to practice.

I'm currently at my office as I check the news on the Western Europe PBC. The one that stood out the most is that Team Liquid's lead guitarist MATUMBAMAN is announcing his retirement after this year's TI, and Virtus.pro decided to change their name to Outsiders for the rest of the season so that they can compete internationally due to VP is tied to Russia.

The phone on my table rang and it was Marina, she told me that Leo/need have arrived. I asked her to entertain the idols while Leo/need gets changed and start their shift. And I told her that once the bands that she invited arrive, they'll meet me at the stage downstairs at 5.

Riku: Marina did tell me that one of the members of Kessoku Band lives very far.....I wonder why....for now, I think I should take a short nap. Homura, wake me up when it's 10 minutes before 5.

*WOOF*

Homura barked in reply. Homura may be a dog, but he can read the time thanks to Kasen-san. I reclined my chair as I closed my eyes and try to catch a few z's.

Meanwhile at the Front Desk

3rd POV

We go to the front desk where Ichika and Shiho were manning the front as Marina left to buy some guitar strings at the music store, while Saki and Honami were at the cafe outside.

Shiho: Nee-san and the others are running late.

Ichika: Did you give her the directions?

Shiho: I gave her a physical map for crying out loud. Honestly, nee-san can be an airhead, but this is taking it to the next level.

Shiho was a bit irritated as her sister Shizuku and her friends in MORE MORE JUMP are not here yet. As Ichika was planning to call Airi, who is her senior, Hatate showed up.

Hatate: Is something wrong, you two?

Ichika: Hatate-san. It's just Shiho's sister and her friends aren't here yet.

Shiho: They might be looking for nee-san at this point, she does get lost most of the time.

Hatate: How about I find her for you? I mean I have the free time today and I have no clients.

Ichika: I want to ask you Hatate-san, what's your role here in CiRCLE?

Hatate: I'm working here as the live house's informant. Whatever information you need in regards to music or the entertainment world, I can get it. For a price of course. Now before I go out, can you show me a picture of her?

Shiho took out her phone and showed Hatate her sister's picture. Hatate nodded as she left and started her search. And as Hatate left, the door opened and four girls entered the live house with the three of them carrying a guitar case.

The first girl has long blonde hair with a floating triangle-like ahoge worn in a side ponytail and vermilion eyes. She wears a white long-sleeve uniform with a tucked skirt and red ribbon with big polka dots, a dark blue pleated skirt, white socks, and red sneakers with white laces.

The second girl has short blue hair with two black square hair clips on the right side of her bangs and yellow eyes, with a mole on her left cheek. She's wearing a collared white shirt worn with a black ribbon, a dark blue pleated skirt, black leggings, maroon or brown loafers, and a matching long sleeved sweater.

The third girl has red hair with grown-out bangs and yellow eyes. She wears a white chocolate sailor uniform with long sleeves, six yellow buttons at the side and red ribbon ties, a short gray pleated skirt, white socks, and maroon shoes.

And the last girl has long pink hair, which is tied with a blue and yellow cube hair accessory on the right side of her head, her aqua-colored eyes, and her fair complexion. She wears a pink tracksuit with a long gray pleated skirt, black socks, and brown shoes as part of her style.

Ichika and Shiho seeing that they're new to the place, introduced themselves and welcomed them.

Ichika: Welcome to Live House CiRCLE. In the words of owner-san "This is the place where any aspiring musician takes their first step". I'm Hoshino Ichika, and on my left is Hinomori Shiho.

Shiho: Yo.

Ichika: Anyway, can I ask you for your names?

Nijika: Of course! It would be rude of us to not introduce ourselves. I'm Ijichi Nijika. 2nd year at Shimo-Kitazawa High. And I'm the drummer and leader of Kessoku Band. Ryo, Kita-chan, Bocchi-chan. Introduce yourselves.

The blonde girl named Nijika politely bowed as she introduced herself. She told her fellow band mates to introduce themselves.

Ryo: Yamada Ryo. Same year and school as Nijika. Kessoku Band's bassist.

The blue haired girl introduced herself stoicly. And Ichika looked at Shiho cause how Ryo talked is tha same as hers.

Ikuyo: You can call me Kita.(A/N: Like hell I'm putting Kita on you. Your name is Ikuyo and I will put that as is.) First year student at Shuka High. And I'm Kessoku Band's lead vocalist and rhythm guitar. The one behind me is Gotoh Hitori. She's in the same year as me and we go to the same school as well. She's kinda shy and doesn't talk too much, but she's the band's lead guitarist.

The red haired vocalist introduced herself as she was letting out an extrovert aura which blinded Ichika and Shiho a bit, while the pinked hair guitarist just bowed in silence without saying anything.

Ichika: I see.....

Shiho: Kessoku Band huh? So you're one of the bands that Marina-san invited to perform here.

Nijika: Yes, we got invited by Marina-san to perform here. Although we have a live house in Starry, but the owner insisted that we perform here.

Ichika: It's a good call from your owner. Performing in different live houses lets you grow as a musician and a band as a whole. Though you girls are a bit early, so why not head to one of the studios if you want to practice?

Ikuyo: We can do that?

Nijika: I'm worried about the fee.....

Shiho: Invited bands that will be performing here can access the studios free of charge. As long as you don't break anything, then you will not be held accountable.

Ikuyo: Then that's wonderful!! Ijichi-senpai, Ryo-senpai! Let's use this chance to practice!

Ryo: A good idea. We might not get this chance in the future...might as well do it. I mean we brought our guitars and bass here.

Ichika: Then you girls can use Studio 10. Head to the hall behind us and you'll see the studios.

Ichika handed the key to Studio 10 to Nijika as the four members of Kessoku band headed to Studio 10.

Ichika: They're quite an interesting bunch.

Shiho: Hm. But the pink one looks like she was about to collapse anytime.

Ichika: You think she's sick?

Shiho: No. More like socially awkward. Ichika, a message from Saki.

Shiho noticed Ichika's phone ringing, and she took out her phone and it was Saki, telling them that they can get some food while the customers are less.

Shiho: Just get anything for me. I'll take care of things here.

Ichika: Okay then, I'll leave the front to you.

Ichika left the front desk as she goes to the cafe outside.

1 and a half hour later....

Live House CiRCLE - Riku's Office

5:00 P.M.

Riku slowly opened his eyes as he was feeling that someone is on top of him. When his eyes were completely open, he saw Homura on top of him. Riku seeing this, gave the dog a headpat as the dog got off of him and sat on the floor.

Riku: You really woke me up at 5. Good work boy.

*WOOF*

And right on time, the intercom was ringing and Riku answered and it was Marina.

Marina: Riku, all of the invited groups are here. MORE MORE JUMP has just arrived, Hatate-chan took a while to find Shizuku-chan.

Riku: Did Shizuku got lost?

Marina: Shiho-chan told me that she tends to get lost despite knowing the place already. As for the other one, they'll be arriving shortly.

Riku: I see. Then tell them that I'll be heading there soon. Alright...Homura, want to come with me?

*WOOF*

Riku: Guess that's a no then. Keep an eye on my office okay?

Riku just smiled as he stretched his arms and took the OG jacket that was hanging in the coat rack and headed to the door that directly leads from his office to the stage.

Meanwhile on the stage...

We head to the stage where the invited groups are gathered. The first group was Kessoku Band, who were talking to Ran and the girls of Afterglow. The pinked haired girl named Hitori was far away from them and was having a hard time meshing in with the atmosphere, that is until Ran slowly introduced herself to her.

Ran: Oi, are you okay out here?

Hitori: HIIIIII!!!!

Ran was caught off-guard to her sudden shriek as the pinkette took a step back.

Ran: O-Oi.....are you okay?

Hitori: S-s-sorry.....It's just.....I'm not used to talk to anyone....at all.....

Ran: A loner then eh? You know, I was kinda like that once.

Hitori: Eh?

Hitori was shocked that the girl beside her was someone like her. Ran continued telling her story as she closed her eyes.

Ran: In my early years of middle school, I was much of a loner. Not talking to anyone or waste my time with anything not worth doing. All I had back then was my guitar and the lessons that nii-san told me.

Hitori: Nii-san? You had a brother?

Ran: I do. Though we're not blood related, I treat him as an older brother. He was there for me whenever I need him. Though Tsugumi, Moca, Himari and Tomoe were there for me at that time, no one can compare to nii-san. Then at middle school, me and the girls were separated. The four of them were in the same class, whereas I was the only one got left out. With no one I know in my class, I always tend to be alone.

Hitori: Then...how did you became a band?

Ran: Himari suggested it. Himari decided to create a band as a way for us 5 to be together even though we're in different classes. But through the years...we found a reason to play as a band.

Hitori: A reason?

Ran: We play so that we can make memories. Memories of us 5 playing together and enjoying playing together....we may still have a lot to go, but we're willing to learn.

Hitori: Amazing....to think that you had such a reason like that.....for me.....I just play to...

Ran: Let me guess, to become famous, right?

Hitori flinched to Ran's answered as she rapidly nodded.

Ran: To be popular huh? It's not a bad thing per se. But if it's for the sake of becoming popular alone, then you are doing it wrong. Aside from becoming popular, you have to find a purpose.

Hitori: A...purpose?

Ran: Why did you became a member of Kessoku band in the first place?

Hitori: Uh...well....ummm....Nijika-chan kinda.....dragged me to it....before she found me....I was just a nobody....just 2 months ago...

Ran: I see.....well, as long as you continue your way with your friends over there, I think you'll do fine.

Hitori looked at her friends as they were having a chat with Ran's friends. Hitori showed a small smile as she knew that she had friends to have her back. She looked at Ran with her eyes dead set on her.

Hitori: Thank you.....I kinda needed that....umm.....who are you again?

Ran: Right, I forgot to say my name. Mitake Ran, Afterglow's vocalist.

Hitori: G-Gotoh Hitori.....Kessoku Band's lead guitar.....

Both guitarists shook hands and Ran noticed Hitori's hands.

Ran: Your hands...they're...

Hitori: I know, they're ugly to look at.....

Ran: Now this is dedication...as a guitarist, I respect the grind. How long have you been playing?

Hitori: I've been playing for three years straight.

Ran: You must have been playing a lot...

While Ran and Hitori were talking amongst themselves, their band mates looked at the two and they were showing smiles on their faces.

Nijika: I'm glad that Bocchi-chan managed to make a new friend.

Himari: So is Ran.

Ikuyo: This might be the first step for Gotoh-san to come out of her shell.

Tsugumi: By the way, why did you nickname hitori-san, Bocchi?

Ryo: Because of "hitoribocchi".

Moca: That's kinda lame if you ask me~

As the two bands were talking...on the other side, μ's and MORE MORE JUMP were talking to each other as well...mainly Minori, Nico and Hanayo as those three absolutely adore Idols and they seem to get along very well. With that, a friendly rivalry between the two groups was formed and no hard feelings on whoever loses.

As they were busy talking, the lights on the stage turned on which caught their attention. They saw a young man walking to the stage.

Riku: I take it that this is everyo- Ran? You got invited?

Ran: Yeah. After Roselia's performance here, we knew that we can't lag behind them. So when Marina-san invited Afterglow to perform here, we took the invite.

Riku was surprised that Marina invited Ran. He can guess that she took advantage of Ran and Yukina's rivalry.

Haruka: Riku-san, we came here as promised. Have you made your decision?

Riku: I do, but I need everyone to be here to discuss that. And I take that you four are Kessoku Band? I'm Nagae Riku, owner of this live house.

Riku turned his attention to the four girls that are new to him. Nijika stepped forward as she introduced herself to him.

Nijika: I see, I'm Ijichi Nijika. Kessoku Band's leader and drummer. These are my band mates, the one on my left is Yamada Ryo, she's our bassist.

The girl named Ryo silently nodded as Riku understood that she is a silent type.

Nijika: The one on my right is Kita-chan. The vocalist and rhythm guitar of the group.

Ikuyo waved her hand to Riku as he politely nodded.

Nijika: And right behind them is Gotoh Hitori. She's our lead guitarist. And we call her Bocchi-chan.

Riku: Bocchi? You mean "alone"?

Hitori: H-Hai.....

Hitori answered quietly as Riku understood that she's the type who is socially awkward. So Riku made a note to take caution on how to talk to her.

Riku: I got the profile from Marina that it's just you four. Normally the standard of a band is at least five members, but if you have faith with just you four, then I can tell that you can surprise us with something. Well, Let's just wait a while till the others are-

???: Sorry we're late.

The door opened and it showed four girls. The first girl has long black hair that reaches her shoulders, she has silver-gray eyes andshe's wearing a black jacket that is worn over a long white top that hangsslightly below her waist. The black pants are tight-fitting and have some ripsat the knees. She also wears black shoes with a low heel. She also appears tobe wearing a necklace or chain, visible above her top, along with a bracelet onone wrist.

The second girl is a short girl that can be mistaken as a middle school student that has short, tousled blonde hair and bright yellow eyes, with some strands falling over her face. The hair is styled in a casual, slightly messy look. She is wearing an oversized black sweatshirt featuring a graphic of a bear or similar animal on the front. The sweatshirt is so large that it covers her hips, and underneath it, she has a lacy black skirt and a pair of black boots.

The third girl is a fairly tall girl that has long, wavy lilac hair with gray eyes and is wearing a plaid coat over a white top and a green skirt. The outfit is completed with black boots that have a fuzzy trim. And I can fell that she's letting out a motherly atmosphere that is on par or even surpassing Saaya and Lisa.

And the last girl is a fairly tall girl like the other one, but she has short, dark hair with light gold eyes, and is wearing a long black coat over a gray turtleneck sweater. They have dark pants and gray lace-up boots. A black necklace adds a subtle accessory to the outfit. And the way she dresses makes her look more like of a boy. And as to how Riku identify her as a girl at first glance, because he know who she is.

Riku: Aoi? Is that you?

The girl named Aoi just chuckled to see his reaction and just answered him with a wide smile.

Aoi: Good to see you again, Riku. How've you been?

???: You know him, Aoi-kun?

Aoi: Me and Riku go way back. Let's just say, we can call ourselves "Sworn Siblings".

???: So you.....you know...did that?

Aoi: We did. But it was supervised by his family so it's all good.

???: Quite risky for you Aoi....

Aoi: Well, Riku's family is like a family to me, so I think it's a good thing.

Riku: Sorry to cut your conversation but....if possible, can you introduce your friends behind you?

Tsubaki: Aoi doesn't need to do it. Aoyagi Tsubaki, Rondo's vocalist.

The girl named Tsubaki introduced herself a bit coldly as she kept a small glare at Riku

Nagisa: Tsukimiyama Nagisa. Rondo's guitarist. Please to meet you.

Riku: Who let a middle school student in here?

Silence filled the entire stage as Riku asked Nagisa that. Some of the girls were holding back their laughs, while Eli, Kotori, Aichi, Ran and Aoi face palmed. Nagisa on the other hand was beet red, she was flailing her arms as she denied that claim.

Nagisa: I-I-I-I AM NOT A MIDDLE SCHOOLER!! I'M ALREADY 20!!!

The girls were shocked that a Nagisa is 20 with a stature like that. Which means that she's a college student.

Riku: So you're a year older than me then....sorry about that.

Nagisa: Che. Don't mind, don't mind. Oi Aoi-san, you said that Riku is blunt, but you didn't tell me that he was that blunt.

Hiiro: Clam down now, Nagisa-chan. I am Yano Hiiro, I'm Rondo's VJ. Pleasure to meet you, Nagae-kun.

Riku: Hm. You can call me Riku. Calling me by my family name makes me a bit...uneasy.

Hiiro: Then I'll be calling you Riku-kun then.

Riku just nodded as Marina entered the room.

Riku: Marina, you said that you invited 5 groups to perform here right? Where are the other two?

Marina: That's what I want to talk to you about. You see, the two other bands backed out.

Riku: Say what now?

The girls and Aichi were shocked that two of the groups that Marina invited backed out. Riku scratched his head as it was like what happened in the first live event. Riku asked Marina the reason why they backed out.

Riku: So, what's their reason?

Marina: Well the first group got involved in a car crash four days ago.....their vocalist died on the crash.....

The room's atmosphere turned dark as Marina told Riku the bad news. Riku bit his nails in frustration.

Riku: Damn...what about the other members?

Marina: The other four sustained injuries, but it was not that bad. Though they'll take a while to recover.

Riku: I see. What about the second band?

Marina: The band got into a meltdown and two of the members tried to kill each other.

Riku: What the- What happened to them after that?

Marina: Authorities showed up before it escalated. With two members in prison, they had no choice but to disband.

Riku: This is the worst...regardless, the show must go on.

Marina: Right.....we've already gone too far to go back, and it'll taint CiRCLE's reputation if the 2nd live gets cancelled.

Riku: Yes. But who could-

Riku turned his direction to the two idol groups and Riku had an idea. He just hoped that the others agreed to this.

Riku: With the exception of the two bands that backed out. Rondo, Kessoku Band, Afterglow, MORE MORE JUMP, and μ's. Let's begin CiRCLE's 2nd Live Event Meeting.
