The Princess and The Bad Boy

After her mother dies, Daphne Lane has to go with her father and stepmother who is a queen to Luisa Island, a small (fictional) island that is very prosperous. To become a member of the royal family, she is taken to a mansion in Los Angeles (Twin City of the capital of Luisa) to be taught manners. During the debriefing, she was mentored directly by her stepmother and got a private tutor. In an instant, Daphne's free life begins to be restricted by rules. A set of rules that become a habit should not be broken. Like it or not, Daphne must follow the rules that apply in her life. Transferring to a new school, Daphne immediately becomes the spotlight there as the Princess of Luisa. Although many are queuing up to become her new friends, Daphne prefers to befriend the children who are members of the "Dumped Students" to avenge the crimes of the popular students' club led by Trixie Marshall. Despite being known as a trouble-provoking and a school bouncer, no one knows how Daphne has felt since losing her mother and having to live under the same roof as a stepmother who upholds manners and often compares her to Christabel. Her stepmother and even father also began to make her feel alienated in her new environment. Daphne tries to escape by tricking the security. But unfortunately amid her attempt to escape, she actually 'meets' with Justin Lancaster, an annoying guy who is a troublemaker at school. So her journey to the place of contemplation was again interrupted by the boy's presence.

What?! (c)

"Get your perverted face out of my sight." I shook my head, turning away, preferring to focus my attention on the statue of the warrior near me.

"Fine if you want me to go. I won't insist, Darling." He patted her thighs. The corner of my eye secretly glanced at him, without changing my curt expression. "But you won't be able to force me to stop approaching you."

Spontaneously, I turned to him and gave him a 'wtf' look. "Look, Lancaster. I don't know what demon possessed you to do such a stupid thing. If all you want is an apology from me so you don't bother me anymore, fine." I took a deep breath, gathering energy for the single word I anticipated the most. There is no sorry and thank you in the dictionary of my life. "Sorry."

Justin froze in his place. His eyes did not flee from mine, colliding with mine in a monotone. "I've never received such an apology."

My mouth is half open. I scratched my head in frustration, messing up my half-dead hair styled by the maids in this mansion. Be patient, Daph. Inhale... exhale. Inhale... exhale.

"So, what do you want from me to replace the apology you want? Say it."

Again, his mysterious crooked smile appeared. "Hmm...let me think for a minute." His index finger was tapped against his temple, while his head was tilted upwards, pretending to think. "I'm not going to ask you anything. Not now, Darling. Maybe sometime, I'll tell you." He cracked a smile with the corners of his eyes narrowed. Then, ignoring my stupid expression in this place, he sauntered away, disappearing around the corner.

I sighed in frustration, ruffling my hair once more. If that's the case, I'd rather live alone in Florida and spend my time working in Mr. Randall's market, tutoring Stalag 14 students who are looking for trouble, and traveling with Kelly.

Kelly, my only human friend in Florida. We've barely been in contact. Guess why? Because Kelly's parents are anti social media. They did not let the only daughter in the family get to know social media and become less social. They're going to get all social media out of Kelly's life. I often imagine how terrible Kelly's life would be at home without social media.

But Kelly's life isn't really that bad. Her parents actually anticipated her not to get too close to me. The reasons are (a) because I am a gadget and internet enthusiast and (b) because I am a delinquent who often gets detention from the principal.

And now that I have four great new friends, my life is still spinning like a merry-go-round. Looks like I need a refresh. There is a night market on Brighton Ave. Well, the one who first came up with the idea to take me there was Bianca, the nerd girl. Okay, after dinner, I'm off with her!
