Whatever You Can Give
On their very first friendly date, Tian Chen first brought Brie to a theme park in the morning. They met at school earlier, but they both agreed to get through their date using his car.
Pulling up at the parking area of The Happy Valley Beijing, Tian Chen saw the shock in Brie's face. He asked, "Haven't you been to a theme park before?"
"I - I have, but - but it's usually with all my cousins and - and we have the entire place all to ourselves. I've never seen so many people in one place," said Brie. She looked past through cars and the crowd, watching the long line to get inside the park.
Tian Chen laughed. His family was also well off, but he could not deny the wealth of the Lus was beyond theirs. Still, it shocked him that her family was willing to close an entire theme park for their entertainment.
